Re: Nintendo Share Value Drops 6.5% Following Switch Reveal

Faruko

I think the biggest different with the WiiU is that the message is more or less clear of what it is

the 3 minute video was superb, it pretty much showed the idea of the console in a sublime way...

Compare that with the WiiU that the less tech-savy people still didnt knew wtf was it after 3.5 years of marketing.

That alone puts it in a MUCH better position than what the WiiU had, you pretty much know what you are getting into by buying the Switch

Re: Nintendo Share Value Drops 6.5% Following Switch Reveal

Faruko

I cant believe people are saying the WiiU was better than this

Did they own a WiiU ? The gamepad, the thing that defined the console, was the most awful control ive ever seen, once you realized that not even Nintendo knew what to do with it it was just an akward control that had no use

Re: Nintendo Share Value Drops 6.5% Following Switch Reveal

Im not sure im surprised honestly, theres bound to be some shaky stuff considering the new concept and that is based on a 3 minute video.

And who can blame them, Nintendo hasnt been the hottest lately and investors, who put big into this, might be worried all over again

Re: Poll: Exceptional Graphics or 60fps, Which is More Important for the NX Generation?

Faruko

Im not sure about all the people here, but MOST of Nintendo games are 60fps lock because they know better frame rate produces much better gameplay, tighter controls and response, it feels MUCH better to play.

So suddenly everyone arguing that "frame rate is not important" seems like a real issue, Nintendo has always been applaud fortrying to stick to 60fps because it makes gameplay superior compared to most developers, they should keep doing it, 60fps IS the best way to play games (ok, 144hz, but thats another discussion lol)

I just dont get it, Mario Kart, Splatoon, Smash Bros, F-Zero, would not be the same with 30fps, and i hope Nintendo sticks to 60fps when possible

@kurtasbestos

"That game would look TERRIBLE at 60 fps because it would totally take away from the unique atmosphere of the game (and for all I know the HD version probably is 60 fps). So yeah, there are games that probably need to have a higher frame rate (racing games, sports, Call of Shootings, etc.), but on the other hand, too high of a frame rate can look weird and pull you out of the fantasy world in the same way the uncanny valley can. "

Wow... just wow... is this for real ?

Re: Nintendo Share Price Stabilises After Worst Weekly Performance Since 1989

Faruko

Kinda obvious, this is how market works, especially in such sharp rises.

When companies have rises as this in such short time, people that were heavily invested and lost money while stocks were falling will sell, or even people that bought cheap will sell now, those people are there for the short term, small gains. after that the stock prize should stabilize

Re: Rumour: Nintendo NX Will Be Powered By Nvidia's Mobile-Focused Tegra Tech

Faruko

@SharkAttackU WHAT ? near XB30/PS3 ? hahahaha it wasnt even close.

The Vita wasnt even HD, most of their "impressive games" lacked any kind of AA and had terrible texture work. it was "wow" because the small screen made it look good, which is were handhelds can gamble a little bit. But no, the Vita was very good for a handheld, but it was nothing compared to the 360 or PS3

I mean, the Tegra X1 on a 720p handheld/console resolution would be mind blowing, the X1 was made for running 1080p screens.

But of course, the X1 was released like early last year, so MAYBE AND JUST MAYBE we can see Tegra Parker in the works (Tegra X2)

Re: Reaction: The NX Release in March 2017 and How It Changes the Game

Faruko

@Yorumi Its a marathon not a sprint, im not saying March 2017 its the best release date ever (because its not) but its actually the best that nintendo can do right now... i just dont see them trying to go toe to toe with stuff like that, especially when most of them are being already advertised.

btw the WiiU released new christmass and it had a great launch, it died after that

if they are alsopushing the system back to have more games ready and a better launch window then its the right thing to do, or you want a WiiU 2.0?

Re: Reaction: The NX Release in March 2017 and How It Changes the Game

Faruko

PS4K, PSVR, XB1.5, typical time for new smartphones to be released and new GPUs from AMD/Nvidia, etc... and you guys think nintendo is wrong for delaying the release ????????????

March 2017 seems like a great time to avoid being left in the dust by all the stuff thats being released that window, remember that Nintendo its playing catch up in the console department, seriously you guys think anyone thats buying a PS4K or a PSVR or whatever else would change their mind for a NX nowadays ? especially after the WiiU ?

And btw, E3 has been long dead.

Re: Gone Home is No Longer on its Way to the Wii U eShop

Faruko

Got it on steam

One if the most overhyped games ive ever played, its so bad.

PS: And no, i knew what i was getting into it, i like those kind of games, and this one is bad either way, sad that ita not coming but im not sure people are missing much
