Yay, Double Dragon/Kunio-kun, BARF!!! Going with that to download, but Mega Man Zero/ZX physical... Wallet presently giving me dirty looks. :/

@Giygas_95 I’m doing a Mega binge myself, before Zero/ZX Collection release! Played through OG Mega Man 1-11, and am up to X7 on the X series! It’ll be my first time to play a 3D Mega Man. Hoping it’s more like my first Metroid 3D experience (Prime), and less like Castlevania (Castlevania 64) lol. Just got Mega Man Xtreme 2 too:

Well... only problem is it’s for the Atari 2600. :3 I’m curious if mine still works all these decades later, except I can’t test it, as my Atari 2600s haven’t survived the ages. :/

@SpoonyTech I think I had my fill of button mashing from the Atari 2600 version, Track & Field II NES (thank God for NES Advantage), and stuff over the years like Metal Gear Solid game torture scenes!

Digital games can kiss my physical rear! I grew up with tangible masterpieces, like that treasure-like The Legend of Zelda copy that my grandparents paid over $100 for, at a now-closed Colorado Springs toy store in January 1988. The gorgeous gold GamePak & box were stunning enough alone to make it memorable, but that wasn’t all. The manual; with the elaborate artwork; and the invaluable map made it a truly legendary experience. I still have all of it to this day.

If things progress in the present trend, there won’t be such physical wonders that future generations can proudly hold onto in 30 years. I don’t think a download code would hold the same value to my possible future children... and it damn sure can’t
help you if you get lost!

Re: Limited Run Games To Release Physical NES And Game Boy Star Wars Cartridges

Man, those late 70s/early 80s packages make the little boy in me happy, that lived to collect the old Kenner-made Original Trilogy action figures! Did anyone else here collect those? The nostalgia nerd in me needs these only for the packaging. Plus, I’ve never played these versions! I do wish this had been the SNES series, however. Maybe next time.

On a side note, damn the Prequel and Sequel Trilogies need to be made Super Star Wars-style!!! Fan creations on YouTube just aren’t enough.
