Reminds me that Snipperclips has an air hockey mini game and you can still snip and clip each other. Playing offense and defense has an added level of tactics. 😂

@jarack I find them comfortable.

The right joy-con has the stick right in the middle, so it may be harder to reach for children. But that may be true even without a grip.

I bought the Joy Con 2 Wheels and I like them just as a grip for 2-player horizontal joycons. Just keep tilt controls off. They give very large shoulder buttons and are more comfortable than holding the joy-cons by themselves.

I am happy to pay for games to keep them ad free, but $34 is pretty high for a puzzle game. I might wishlist this and see if the Switch version goes on sale.

@Spider-Kev I did buy DK full price, however I am with you on Link’s Awakening. I waited a month after it released and found a used copy for about $45 (including taxes and shipping).

@topher6490 Atari 50 is great and I really enjoyed Yars Rising, too. 😊

I haven’t had issues, but could see a problem if I went crazy with the map or the camera.

Parents, probably don’t watch your young kids play. 😉

@DaGoldenBoo You are probably saying you are wanting grips for each joycon as a pair.

However, I bought the Joy Con 2 Wheels and I like them just as a grip for 2-player horizontal joycons. You can keep tilt controls off, but they give very large shoulder buttons and are more comfortable to hold (much better than just holding the joycons alone horizontally).

The right joy-con stick placement is centered, though. It may be a bit of a reach for a kid’s thumb.

Not the same thing at all, but reminded me that there is an indie game where you play a Goomba like creature. Wunderling DX.

@Aerona Truth. GBA games on the GBA player were not fun with the GC controller D-pad. 😂

This new GC controller, though, may have a better D-pad.

@iLikeUrAttitude I guess they are shoulder buttons and not triggers, but I thought the GameCube was the only Nintendo controller to have analog ‘triggers’.

@FoxyDude I do like the Tron vibes, but it may not fit this game. Usually Nintendo goes more colorful.

@Pillowpants I did get Welcome Tour, but dual mouse mode doesn’t seem fun to play for long periods of time. Mouse mode is a little awkward with the thumb sticks getting in the way of your grip.

I don’t think this will be Nintendo’s only August release.

Maybe not a new title, but another game with Switch 2 enhancements.

@batmanbud2 I forgot how rough the camera is in GC Wind Waker. Obviously it didn’t bother me back then, but I think the HD version is better for its improved camera controls.

The part visible is about equal parts the red Switch logo at the top and the cartridge art/title below that.

Mario Odyssey doesn’t quite mark things in the same way as BOTW, but it has a checklist for the moons. So you could see how many were left in an area.
