This Japanese Nintendo Direct was on point with everything they showed! I'm happy I watched this one instead of one of the most likely bland Western focused Directs.

I would like to see Yoshi and Mario Maker. My real wish is for a Switch port of Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Project Zero that takes out the censorship from their respective games.

Even though the Wii U was not a great success it's still very sad that X-Bones are selling better in Japan now.

I might end up getting Disgaea 5 two times now. I still want to get it first for PS4 since the only DLC characters that interest me are NISA (From Hyperdimension Neptunia & HDN mk2) and Prier (La Pucelle). I would personally love to see the La Pucelle IP make a comeback I really enjoyed the original game back on the PS2, La Pucelle pre dates the Disgaea series originally releasing in January 2002.

All Dragon Quest games and Yooka-Laylee need to come to the Switch ASAP, that's the only reason I did not pre-order a Switch.

The more Dragon Quest releases the better, I still hope for this and Theatrhythm to happen. Also want to give a shout out to the new Neptunia game, despite the name of the title the new Neptunia game is a traditional rpg (not online) in the main series so it's probable that it will get a localisation and won't be another Dragon Quest X type of deal.

If Bombergirl releases for console I might give it a go.

Just give me my Dragon Quest games and Yooka-Laylee and you'll have a Nintendo Switch sold to me.

The Nintendo Switch launch for Japan is better. Dragon Quest Heroes I & II, Disgaea 5, and I am Setsuna will all be launch day titles. I'll take that Japanese launch day line-up over stuff like Just Dance and Skylanders.

It was a good presentation not a great presentation. My biggest disappointment was that Square Enix kinda dropped the ball with their handling of Dragon Quest again... Dragon Quest XI and Dragon Quest Heroes I & II for Nintendo Switch are painfully still not officially confirmed for a Western release. Not having any Nintendo Switch footage or a trailer of Dragon Quest XI at the event and actually showing JP footage afterward of the DQH bundle with this brilliant trailer is another missed opportunity.

This has great potential. Dragon Quest Heroes was a solid title and I think Dragon Quest Heroes II will improve on some of the mechanics of DQH I, plus FE means all three are going to be on the same console.

Japan, you will always have the best mentality when it comes to gaming interests and preferences.

I'm thinking Dragon Quest XI gets localised for Holiday 2017. I hope we learn more at the Nintendo Switch presentation in January.

For a three minute trailer that was pretty masterful! Showing what the console does without any presentation and fanfare was just brilliant!

Looks like Microsoft is trying to rip-off Nintendo IPs again, just like they did in stealing Nintendo IPs from a certain UK based Second Party Developer in September 2002.

Love listening to the music of the Dragon Quest series. I own the Dragon Quest VIII & VII Original Soundtracks, and looking to keep building on my collection. My favourite song in the series is the Dragon Quest VIII Original Soundtrack version of 'Ah Yes, At That Time'. Sugiyama is my favourite composer to listen to with Grant Kirkhope and David Wise coming pretty close.

I am really only hyped for Dragon Quest VII, that's a game I want to start playing now. I also have some interest in Ever Oasis and SMT IV: FINAL (Final is the better name in my opinion), if it has better characters that I want to have a connection with and care about and if the overworld isn't complete rubbish.

I'm all hyped for Dragon Quest XI, definitely a Nintendo NX system seller for this person! The Nintendo NX may finally give the Dragon Quest series the push in the west it deserves!

Genei Ibunroku #FE was the better choice to go with. I want to see an idea like this done with Dragon Quest. I hope there will be some kind of Dragon Quest x Fire Emblem crossover or a Dragon Quest x Pokémon crossover.

Love seeing the original of Dinosaur Planet kept alive. The transformed idea into Star Fox Adventures is both good and bad. I enjoyed it better than Zelda and Rare's adaptation of Slippy is pretty good as he is not an annoying character as in Star Fox 64. Overtime though Star Fox Adventures is a game I began to hate more and more and wished the original Dinosaur Planet would have just been released at the end of the Nintendo 64 life span, Kyrstal would have been one of the most epic female protagonists at that time.

For some incredible irony all we need now is for Nintendo Co. Ltd to hire someone with the surname Koopa.

The more Disney games that have Donald Duck and is set in Duckberg the better. Donald Duck's Quack Attack is a decent platformer.

I would be happy with a Nintendo version of Rare Replay without the Xbox/360/XB1 games and IP's. (Rare IP's born in the MS era)

THQ and AKI Corporation were a powerful duo back in the day when it came to N64 wrestling games. What many people may not know is that THQ was just the overseas publisher for those titles. AKI made Japan only versions of WCW vs nWo and WWF Wrestlemania 2000 called Virtual Pro Wrestling 64 and Virtual Pro Wrestling 2, they all run on the same engine. The Virtual Pro Wrestling games are the better more polished versions.

THQ is also know for being the publisher of Conker's Bad Fur Day in Europe, while AKI also developed the Def Jam series in the mid 2000's. But AKI is now called Syn Sophia and they are known for a series of fashion games on the 3DS called Girls Mode (JP)/Style Savvy (NA)/Style Boutique (EUR).

I'm in the Dragon Quest mood, been playing the heck out of the original VIII PS2 version recently!

The people working on this need to be thanked! They are delivering the game the way Atlus and Nintendo intended. Unlike the way Atlus USA and Nintendo of America saw fit. I'm anti-censorship and don't support the decisions made during the localisation process, but it's their unnecessary changes to game in the first place are the reason for all the outrage and the ridiculous comments wars going on.

It's a tremendous shame how much my favourite developer ever has fallen over the years in the MS era. At least I would have still been able to support Rare under a potential Activision ownership on Nintendo and PlayStation consoles.

The Dragon Quest franchise has had a lot of momentum lately in its 30th Anniversary year! I'm definitely getting Dragon Quest VII and Dragon Quest Builders in the autumn! Now we just need a confirmation of the Western localisation of Dragon Quest Heroes 2.

I remember getting the Nintendo 64 for Holiday 1997! Almost every game Rareware developed for the console was an instant classic! There were so many betas and concepts for the Nintendo 64 that I wish had finished or had been realised such as Conker 64: Twelve Tales (original version of Conker's Bad Fur Day), Final Fantasy VII as a Nintendo game, and most importantly Dinosaur Planet as its own independent IP, I'll even show some love for the Nintendo 64 DD. I would have love to seen what Nintendo could have done with it to get its full potential.

Yooka-Laylee is the reason my passion for Nintendo and modern gaming has been revitalised! I really hope there will be an NX Version!

I remember that Perfect Dark Zero began its development as a GameCube title. Joanna Dark would have definitely been a playable character in Smash Bros. Brawl

I've always wondered if Nintendo e-shop was the reason that the 3DS was region locked compared to the not region locked DS.

After playing through Donkey Kong Country 3/Super Donkey Kong 3 (JP) I enjoyed this game more than I did Donkey Kong Country 2/Super Donkey Kong 2: Dixie & Diddy (JP).

This new UK trailer is great, it's on par with the first reveal and E3 trailers of last year in terms of hype much better than the latest couple of US trailers. I'm really enjoying this game and can't stop playing it! I have already completed my first playthrough of the JP Version! I don't want to initiate a flame/comments war, but I'm still frustrated about the game's unfair censorship. The Japanese reviews are right on this one, this is a great game and one of the best JRPGs I've played.

If I were going to E3 this year it would only be for Yooka-Laylee.
