The problem is that the Switch would be only for one kind of people, the people that care about the play on TV then take on the road gimmick.... the people that just want a home console would have to pay 250 to 299 for something that's barely more powerful than a Wii U when PS4 slim and Xbox One S can be found at the same prices (plus probably the standard would be the Frankenstein controller people being required to pay extra for a decent pro controller)...

Then for people who just want a handheld they would get something more expensive than the 3DS with worst battery life and probably more expensive games (60 like console games instead of 40 as was the usual price of handheld AAA games)..

Lol I played this game like crazy with my friends in High School because we didn't have ps onr... I remember the awful loading times though

The'll support with Lego games but I don't think they'll release hardcore titles for NX

Ever since the N64 Nintendo has always made empty promises about third party support before they launch a console and never deliver on those promises... Before launching the Wii U they even went so far as to claim they had an "unprecedented partnership" with EA which was proven to be a blatant lie

only 3 3DS games for me in 2016, Bravely Second, Project X Zone 2 and Shin Megami Tensei VI: Apocalypse... well and also Zero Time Dilemma but will be playing that one on Vita for what I assume is going to be an easy platinum

why do people care so much about integration I think thats secondary... the most important thing is that they need to figure out a way so you can redownload games on another console if your old console is broken or lost or stolen without you having to make a phone call to Nintendo's customer service

I really liked the 3DS during its 2 and 3 year in the market but afterwards the games I liked stopped comming then Nintendo gave a big FU to all original 3DS owners by releasing the New 3DS and making SNES VC exclusive to it ( no I don't buy that the original 3DS is not powerful enough for SNES emulation)

Waggle always sucked, people were just brainwashed into thinking it was cool

so now no waggle its supposed to be a positive, when the game came out I remember Nintendo fanboys saying the motion controls were the best thing ever

Nintendo does the same thing every generation try to fool people into thinking they have third party support, then claiming they don't need it once the console launches and no one is developing for it

Mobile business is simply you release a couple bad games and hope at least one of those gets a 100 or so idiots willing to expend thousands on microtransactions on them... if you do then you won if you don't then you lost... its pretty much like the lottery

I agree with you except I think the SKUs would be identical hardware wise... it'll be like the Vita and the Vita TV... .$199.99 for the console sku and $250.00 for the handheld SKU
