Ubisoft decides to delay Watch Dogs on Wii U and release firs the versions that are ready and fanboys call them the Devil..... Nintendo does the same thign and everyone defends the decision even if it hurts the Wii U much more than the Watch Dog delays

it's stupid to do this only they can patch for the new controller to be usable on Wii Mode

the Wii U rewards are good but I don't have one, the 3DS options are dissapointing nothing for me again

the first person dungeon crawling perspective almost kill all my interest on this game.... can hope they include a third person view option but doubt so

Not really the Wii U's problem is that its demographic at this point is hardcore nintendo fans who are willing to buy a console for the next mario and zelda no matter what and ultra hardcore gamers who buy every console on principle...... It doesn't have the regular gamers who just want to buy a single console and expect access to a wide variety of games from a variety of developers and it doesn't have the casual crowd that made the original Wii a success either......

Nintendo is losing money by not bringing GBA,SNES VC and DS downloadable titles to the 3DS and they are not drawing anyone to the Wii U as people won't buy a Wii U just for VC

lol before the Wii U delay, all comments on Watch Dogs on this site were about how great the game was going to be..... now everybody seems to think it would suck (I've never been interested since I don't like sandbox type games)

what 3DS has going for it its awesome third party support, the third party support is so great it can make up for all Nintendo screws ups (games tied to console, region lock, ect)..... the fact that its cheaper to develop for allows it to have third party exclusives which are just not viable in other platforms

The Vita will end up outselling the Wii U once the generation is over, you hear it here first

I don't even really know what the OUYA situation is but I know that at this point the odds of Wii U getting a port of a major multiplatform release not named Skylanders, Disney Infitnity, Lego Something or Just Dance are barely better than those of the OUYA

In terms of third party support yes, the Wii U looks like its going to end up with as much third party support as the OUYA (which means none at all for either one)

this is why people who think boycotting a game because it goes only digital is the way to get a physical release are totally wrong...... if a game sells well digitally it helps the odds of a physical release

I'm fine with them removing the surveys but they also need to stop giving DSiWare and Wii VC as rewards, they need to give 3DSWare and Wii U VC since those are the current consoles

You do know this is a complete separate genre? this is a 2D beat em up, not a 1 on 1 fighter..... It's like streets of rage or final fight, not like street fighter or tekken.... that's why I like 2D Beat'em ups is a genre that has been lackign quality entries as of late, if it was a 1 on 1 fighter I wouldn't care because as you mention there is no shortage of quality entries in that genre

My fear is that nintendo would get scared by the controversy and ban the localization of the sequel

I feel bad for them people have been asking for an e-mail for a way so they can flood them with the difficult questions, now they have a way

if they want to do cross buy or vc being multiplat (which is two different things) that's good but its up to then......but having you lose hundreds of dollar on digital games only because your system stopped working is just a violation of consumer rights and unaceptable (yah I know if you are in a major market you can send your console back to nintendo but what about those of us who aren't)

This this is my main concern with this game that it'll turn out to be Etrian oddissey with a persona skin

more useless stuff, and they still refuse to address the main issue, games being tied to consoles which is unaceptable

they should just remake megaman games Ducktales style and sell them digitally a quick and easy way for capcom to make cash at a time where they really need it

They don't like Nintendo but those are not the reasons the reasons are:

1. Stood by Power PC when developers wanted all consoles to switch to X86 to make multi-plat development cheaper.

2. Underpowered, not powerful enough to bring PS3/360 games by brute force requiring actual porting work and not powerful enough to port Xbone/ps4 games

3. A user based comprised primarily of Nintendo hardcore fans who don't seem to like buying games not by Nintendo.

Exactly, this is the price point where people would be willing to buy the Wii U

not surprising they have said they would focus on licensing their properties to third parties than on making the games themselves, it makes sense from their point of view, less risk..... good thing is if they are not making games themselves they be more willing to licence capcom to do remakes of older games

off all videogame trends this is the one I hate the most, really paying 60 for a game then having to buy toys to unlock the content, people complain about DLC or microtransactions but this one is the worst.....and people want Nintendo to do this with pokemon, I hope they never do, or at least not on a mainline pokemon game

The ps4 passed the wii u deapite having no real games i doubt the wii u would be able to make a comeback once games start really coming to the ps4

Nintendo can make a big comeback next gen in the home console area as well as retain their dominance on the handheld market however they need to get 5 things right .

1. Third Party Support
2. Powah
3. Account System
4. Region Free
5. No gimmicks

If they get all those rights there are no reasons why they cannot return to their SNES era greateness

The Wii U version is only better if you like touchscreen I have the Vita version and the only thing I hate about it are the touch screen levels, I doubt they are any better in the Wii U....

@edhe I've noticed handhelds are more popular with girls and women than with men.. reason 3DS and Vita are not really pocket friendly but they fit perfectly in purse...

Now the problem is not that they are marketing to girls that's a good idea... the problem is the way they are going about it, which is so stereotypical is likely to be more alienating to female gamers than effective

I would buy this for 3DS in a second but its not enough to tempt me to by a Wii U

@TheRealThanos its the other way around NIntendo and Sony are hurt because the Yen has gotten too strong in relation to the dollar and euro (meaning they get less Yen once they repatriate their income from U.S and Europe)

Those two are incompatible, If Nintendo wants third party support they would need to change to the X86 architecture and sacrifice backwards compatibility, that's what Sony and MIcrosoft did they would have liked to have backwards compatibility but developers wanted consoles to be all X86 so it would be cheaper to do mulltiplat games....... if one of the two had chosen backwards compatibiilty over x86 they would be in trouble right now

so this is straight up the DS game, not the 3DS one that was released in Europe

I'm sorry but it's just so hilarious when you remember that less than year ago the arguments were about how the Wii U was gonna have the best third party support because of being cheaper to develop for (an argument that never made sense) and now its all about how third parties don't matter to the Wii U

I insist nintendo should get sega to bring football managwr to the wii u itll probably sell more in the uk than sonic worldwide... with that said sonics numbers where better than i expected

I'm still shocked that I'm the only one who finds something wrong with Nintendo charging for a "cloud" storage system where the pokemon are tied to your hardware anyways

This is so great, I was concerned when the game was not in the upcoming 2014 titles list presented in the investor's meeting so glad to know it is still coming
