I hope they make young Leia’s run cycle look like she has a nappy on and still be faster than grown adults.
It would be the type of thing the games would make fun of.
And with that, my waiting has paid off.
I’d love for them to update the graphics a bit and re release the original Lego Star Wars collection. Loved that one, my first Lego game
Didn't it take them like 3 years to finally release this recently and then now this shows up right quick?
Could just be my COVID addled calendar brain.🤷
Definitely not worth returning to the game for me. I enjoyed it overall but I have zero interest in going back to it.
This is where the fun begins.
And yet another scummy business tactic. Why am I not surprised?
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is still the definitive Lego Star Wars game for me.
Companies really need to stop locking content behind buying the digital version of a game. Why am I being shamed and punished for wanting to own a game and display it proudly on my shelf?
@KayFiOS Because they're slowly trying to get everyone to switch to digital so there can be no trade-ins, higher profit margins, etc. I agree, it's scummy.
Only '6' characters!!!
Boy, they sure love to penalize early adopters, huh?
@RainbowGazelle nah. They are pushing dlc. They want you to buy the game 1st or 2nd hand. Their money is now in the character packs. No one is pushing digital. By doing that you limit your base. Very few games are digital only.
I bought the Skywalker Saga Deluxe Edition which comes with the 7 character packs. But I didn't like the DLC characters because the didn't have (new) voices. I really like the movie Rogue One, but it wasn't fun to play with those characters.
Maybe they made these new character packs better?
No Arden Lyn, then what the heck is the point?? Certainly not gonna spend the studs for Reva. She didn't ruin the show for me but well she took the Qui Gon death, man... and survived.
I look forward to the DLC but will they be extensive?
I remember LEGO Star Wars the Clone Wars from back in the Wii days. This will be an open world version I take it.
I have enjoyed what I have played of the game so far. The best LEGO video game I have played and I have the majority of them
@sleepinglion It's always been like this. Just look at the Pokemon series, those who are patient and wait for a year before getting the game, will play a way better version of the game (that's btw what I'll do with this new gen).
0 surprises here.
They should call the Digital version “The Mos Eisley Edition” - it’s a wretched hive of games company scum and villainy tactics edition.
They couldn't wait to sell this game again, could they.
New cartridge? A reprint with the DLCs included?
That is the most important question!
Digital only gamers would not care about that since they could just buy them separately etc. but I want to know if they made the effort to reprint a better cartridge!
I just wish they’d do another game like Lego City Undercover. 😢
What a grift this is....
@BarryandWill what do you mean?
Okay, how about a new entry into the Lego Star Wars series? One that adapts another movie or TV show? Or heck, what about an original story? Why do The Skywalker Saga over and over again? It's almost getting as bad as Skyrim with these rereleases.
If they want to rerelease or remake older games, how about the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series, the Rogue Squadron series, or Shadows of the Empire?
That's cool, but why not add add new story content/ planets from the movies and shows these character packs are from?
No Sionver Boll, no buy.
@EliSweetG LOL no, its not. Thus is only for the die-hard completionist and Star Wars super duper fans (with money to burn)
@AstroTheGamosian almost as bad as Skyrim because of 1 re-release.
I won't be indulging in any of this rubbish until they stop this Rey Skywalker nonsense and present her as the truth: the offspring of a failed Palpatine clone.
Really disappointed with this game, you spend most of the time running from A to B then a set piece then run again. I preferred the originals.
Pointless, I've completed the game what would be the purpose of buying these new characters? if they had a deal at launch with the game maybe I would have purchased some of the characters but it's not really important tbh
@Deepdoop I agree, at least there would be something to go back to, just like the Lego batman game dlc
@Orpheus79V Admittedly, I confused it with The Complete Saga. But still, I want something more original from the Lego Star Wars universe, other than just a rehash.
Way to ruin it with a rubbish character like Reva. Show me Thrawn and I’ll consider overlooking that stain.
"Thank you for buying our game. Did I say 'thank you'? I meant **** you!"
In past Lego games you got all the dlc with the special edition. Now They want me to spend fifteen more dollars for content that should have been in the game at launch. What a cash grab, but that is what skywalker saga is at the end of the day.
@Knightrider1 Yeah, LEGO games are known to make their love of Star Wars known, but also love to poke fun at it, so PLEASE MAKE IT A REAL THING!!!!
I'm glad I waited before purchasing this game, mostly due to an ever growing backlog. Now I'll probably wait for a discount on this edition instead.
How is this fair to people that already spent over $80 on the deluxe edition 😡
