Re: Nintendo Hacker Who Stole "Confidential Information" Sentenced To Three Years In Prison

@LiamDoolan NINTENDO LIFE:

Yellow journalism and the yellow press are American terms for journalism and associated newspapers that present little or no legitimate, well-researched news while instead using eye-catching headlines for increased sales. Techniques may include exaggerations of news events, scandal-mongering, or sensationalism. By extension, the term yellow journalism is used today as a pejorative to decry any journalism that treats news in an unprofessional or unethical fashion.

Re: Review: Immortals Fenyx Rising - An Off-Brand Breath Of The Wild That's Still Worth A Look

Since when "Borrows too heavily from Breath of the Wild" is a negative thing. NintendoLife especially names half of the indie games on Switch Breath of The Wild style to promote them. Therefore, there is no logic in using it as a negative feature. The reviewer gets a B minus just for this.

Also the fact that Nintendo Life and Nintendoworldsomething give the lowest grade to this game in the video game industry is at least, strange.

@Snatcher and everyone else like him. Do you know what intellectual property is? Do you know what it means to protect your own work so others cannot use it and get money out of your own work? Would you like to invent something, draw a project, create a song and have others steal your work and even get money out of it? Where do you guys live? Why don't you have common sense that hacking, modding is illegal? Why are you so silly in accepting theft as the normal practice? You cannot live by stealing other's work. Enough with this unethical thinking. Grow up!

@Damo The Japanese cover does not have any logic. It's divided into 3 different parts and they don't connect with each other. It's like one designer made the drawing with the cars and the city. Another one made the heads and stuck them on the first picture. And then another designer locked in a different room, did the logo, put a grey background and they didn't know where to put it and patched it above the drawings by itself.

Re: Nintendo Will Remain "King" Of Japan Over The Next Years, Says Game Industry Consultant

If Nintendo embraces cloud gaming as it seems it is starting too, then, even those AAA games with super wow pixels from PS5 and Xbox Series will also be available on the Switch. This will mark the first time where impossible to port games will be in Switch's library as well. I find that a succesful strategy for even greater Switch sales. After all Switch is not only handheld, it is a console too for millions of people who will not own another console or don't like playing on PC.

Re: Aussie Gamers Are Locked Out Of Switch's Cloud-Based Future, It Seems

Cloud based games is an interesting addition to the Switch. And remember, different players, different likes. A lot of Switch owners use TV mode more than portable so it's OK with them to have a few games that they cannot play anywhere, anytime. (although I took my Switch on my local cafe and played Control just fine)

I have a poor internet wifi. I live in Athens, Greece which in general, does not have great speeds. However, the game streams almost perfectly with no lag and out of 10 times I played Control I didn't have to wait more than 10 to 30 seconds. Many players on Twitter also say that it streams even better on Switch than in Xbox or Playstation having people asking how is this happening.

@Yanina I don't like what you are saying here: "Otherwise he could just go digital or pirate it, if the content is the only thing of interest."
If a gamer does not like a physical presentation of a video game he can go digital, and when you say "go" you obviously mean "buy". He cannot "pirate" it. Because if he does then Mr. policeman comes at his home. Got it?
