One thing I don't understand is how reviewers time a video game and say it is a 12-hour experience? Video games are not cinematography or musical arrangements.
@Blizzia That's a big lie. L.A. Noire DID NOT struggle with performance in most sections of the game. Obviously you have not played the game on Switch and yet you come here and say whatever you hear from the internet.
ps: I am happy that I see others telling you the same thing. Be more careful next time and only talk about games you've played.
September of the year 2019 and there is still a site that in order to read the replies of a certain comment I need to scroll down to reply #136 and then up to reply #57 and then even further up to reply #6. The first thing I would do if I was in charge of a website would be to fix this as soon as possible. Not here, in NintendoLife. I am surprised that a lot of readers are complaining about little insignificant things but not for this.
Who are these people that asked about that in the first place? Only youtubers with false, vivid imagination and internet websites that fish clickbait material from around the internet.
@CurryPowderKeg79 SAYS "I hate any game that makes you hit buttons really, really fast. They are totally unplayable too people with major or minor nervous system or hand problems."
REPLY: There are thousands of other games that people with major or minor nervous system or hand problems can play. This game is not one of them. Deal with it and feel happy. Not everything in this world is made for everyone.
@Agramonte The reviewer said that "there are SOME noticeable fuzzy and blurry textures". He didn't say that the whole game is blurry. You probably read the review very fast.
@Woomy_NNYes You are probably from a different continent than Europe. Ocarina of Time was available to everyone here (Europe), not just by pre ordering.
I bet the guy who wrote this article is not a Nintendo fan. If he was he would have known that these exactly same words of Sakurai were said in the latest Nintedo Direct broadcast.
ps: I also think that the next game will be called "Super Smash Bros Ultimate 4K HD" and it will be published for Nintendo Switch 2.
@Sac_instead I will just repeat the same here. Text is way too small and the font is very thin and almost caligraphic which makes reading even harder from afar.
The only true thing that Nintendo Switch needs is a messaging system. Colours and folders are minor things.
NintendoLife, you need to change your archaic comment system too. It has been said from countless readers of yours. For how much longer a person X with comment number 367 will reply to a person Y with comment number 33?
Starlink is definitely not a family game. But then I wouldn't call it a non family game either. Starlink is a wonderful game. Its main problems are lack of pacing and a clear sense of motivation to encourage you to reach the set goals and finish the game.
@link3710 I repeat with different words in order to make myself clear. The in-game sounds sound so incredibly well that surpass many Dolby surround games I had the chance to play.
Digital Foundry says there is a lack of support for surround sound. Then, dear Digital Foundry, why does this game sound above AAA quality and way better than most of other AAA Switch games?
@retro_player_22 Blu-ray capacity is irrelevant to retro games being remastered and re-released. Blu-ray fits thousands of books. That doesn't mean that we have to destroy our libraries full of old and new books.
Genesis is a name used in North America. Is it so much callories wasted for the writer of this article to write "Genesis / Mega Drive" to make the rest of the world feel being included? Just 2 more words: Mega & Drive.
@Hylian_Ticipated said "believe Damien played the game and his review is completely fair game. However, I want to ask you: do you believe all NL staff play games they review?"
ANSWER: As you saw in my reply I trust the 90 out of 100 on Metacritic, so that basically means there is trust when the majority of the reviewers find a game Excellent.
@Mr_Muscle You watched through internet and the reviewers played the game. Who am I going to believe? You, that saw random screens on internet and have an opinion? Or the ones that actually played the game and have the Metascore reaching almost 90 out of 100? I am sure you know the answer.
After the success of Turok 1 and Turok 2, their next big thing was Shadowman, not Turok 3, or any other Turok. If I was them I would prepare Shadowman for Switch after Turok 2.
EA's chief studios officer, Laura Miele, will bring the next big EA game to Switch called, "Miele, Anything Else Is a Compromise - Kitchen Simulation".
The writer of this article writes a whiny & cranky article. Then, the readers fall into the trap and become whiny & cranky, as well. Hooray Nintendo Life!! You educate well your readers.

Re: Nintendo Download: 10th October (Europe)
@Jolt Your comment is just unacceptable and irrelevant no matter what excuses you may have.
Re: Magical 2D Platformer Enchanted Portals Accused Of Being A Cuphead Clone
There is no problem. Only the usual whiny internet people do. The ones that like to not like.
Re: Japanese Charts: Dragon Quest XI S Fends Off Ghost Recon: Breakpoint To Stay Number One
Both Switch versions share the same games. To count them seperately is tragic.
Re: The New Switch-Exclusive Bubble Bobble Will Include The Original Classic As Standard
Yeap. The music came to my mind too.

Bravo to them. They do the right thing.

Re: Video: Ever Wondered What An 8-Bit Ni no Kuni Would Look Like?
Music sounds indeed 8bit. Graphics are 16bit era.
By the way, this game is at #62 in the European eshop charts (19:40, 2/10).
Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 9.0.1 Is Now Live
I came here to whine too but I am too lazy to do it today.
Re: The Wireless SNES Controller For Switch Unlocks Super Mario World Sound Effects
@Yosher It's not expensive. Check the list with its features again.
Re: Review: Devil May Cry 2 - The Series Nadir Isn't Worth Bothering With On Switch
@mikegamer SAYS "Lol, another rushed port, not surprised."
ANSWER: Be surprised! You are confused. This is a very good port. It's the game itself that sucked and still sucks.
Re: Nintendo Is Taking The Switch On A Tour Of US Colleges This Fall
@Savino Mario Kart Tour is fine. I don't understand the negativism.
Re: Review: Contra: Rogue Corps - An Ugly And Unfocused Mess That Shames The Contra Name
I thanked the developers for providing me this awful demo, otherwise I would have bought it.

Until EA finds what people want through surveys Nintendo Switch 2 will surely have come out by then.

Re: Smash Bros. Ultimate Players Aren't Happy With New Online Tournament Rules
Reddit users are not representatives of "smash bros. ultimate players". New applied rules are just fine.

@nintendolie Not everyone has the latest model of a phone to play this. Glad Switch is here to be able to play this game.
Re: Review: Star Wars Pinball - A Silly Yet Authentic Ode To All Things Star Wars
Outstanding job from Zen Studios. 10 out of 10 from me.
Love Star Wars but Star Trek is better

@Woomy_NNYes You are probably from a different continent than Europe. Ocarina of Time was available to everyone here (Europe), not just by pre ordering.
Re: Fire Emblem: Three Houses Patch Revises Sensitive Dialogue
Smart decision to alter the dialogue. It did not need to be so detailed.
Whoever talks about censorship in this case must be 14 years old or less.
What really matters about this game is that text size needs to be bigger.
Re: Official Sword And Shield Website Teases New Pokémon With Glitching Image
What's 257.9lbs?
Do I have to live in:
a) Liberia,
b) Myanmar or
c) the United States of America
to understand the weight?
Other than the three countries mentioned above, the rest of the Earth people communicate using kg (kilograms, kilos) in case you didn't know.

Tell me the truth. When you pressed play on the video did you immediately go out to run some errands and returned home when it was finished?

Re: The First Zelda: Link's Awakening Switch Review Is Now In, And It's Looking Good
Nintendo Life, you should also score reviews like Famitsu. 4 reviewers, 10 points maximum each, 40 tolal maximum points. Neat grading system.

Re: Random: Don't Worry, Nintendo Switch's 'X' Button Is Still Called 'X'
You all get them wrong.
Obviously Nintendo's correct button names are as follows:
A = Alpha
B = Beta
X = Hee
Y = Ypsilon
Re: Review: Legend Of The Skyfish - A Poor-Man's Zelda
Pictures of the game surely don't look like Zelda.
Re: Video: Here's How Xenoblade Chronicles' Switch Remaster Compares To The Wii Original
A perfect game with THE perfect soundtrack and THE perfect English voice-overs is just getting better visually. What is there not to love about it?

@Tibob Mario Party is an excellent game and a complete one as it is. If Nintendo decides to add new things it will just be an extra bonus.
