This game is an 8. And it reads like an 8. Multiplayer portion of the game is so small that it shouldn't affect the grading.

@Kienda I don't know, maybe the Nintendo guys in Athens are lying. Whatever the case, it is obvious now that Nintendo should not ask for money to repair something that was a technical oversight of theirs.

According to the Nintendo Technical Team in Athens joy-con controllers with new joysticks that don't drift have started to be in circulation since last September (2018).

Levels created by Switch users are better now than they were in Mario Maker 1.

Maybe the Lite version has something that the main Switch does not have and they are not allowed to say until Nintendo announces it.

@VenomousAlbino I think Nintendo Life writers are often confused ot they don't have someone above them telling them that in this site we will do only one thing. So, sometimes they use the American commas (1,240,760.99) and sometimes the European periods (1.240.760,99), sometimes they write the USA only 3/14/2019 and sometimes they become universal and write 14/3/3019. Sometimes they write about (almost) USA only feet and inches and sometimes about meters. Sometimes they present prices only in US Dollars $, sometimes in English pounds £, sometimes both and when they remember they can even mention euros €. You, as a reader, have to adapt each time and even guess from time to time.

@Heavyarms55 I do agree that Digital Foundry reports sometimes seem to try hard to find a needle in a haystack. This Doom analysis is one of these times.

It seems like Super Mario Maker 2 makes players creating more interesting levels. You may occasionally meet a bad level but the quality is increased in relation to the first Maker title on Wii U.

A great game, greater than the first part, is getting even better. Switch dual control methods are even better than they were on Wii U.

@60frames-please You do realize that 30fps is not "choppy" as you call it and you, also, do realize that movies run at 24 fps, right?

The control input offered in Picross Jupiter games on Switch are far superior from touch controls. This is not a matter of taste. People here suggesting otherwise have clearly never purchased and played any of the 4 games released on Switch so far.

The synopsis of the journalist after Miyamoto's reply is unnecessary and biased. The journalist provides the news by writing an article. Readers are supposed to read the article and form an opinion of their own and not to be patronized by the journalist's own conclusion.

ANSWER: You have got it all wrong. This is a MAKER title. To MAKE is to CREATE. Therefore, creation mode is its priority. You also accuse Nintendo of being lazy when there are more than 100 stages made by them and the rest of the game is much more advanced than its first iteration. So, lazy Nintendo, it surely is not. Lazy you, you bet.

Price is extraordinaly cheap to miss this game. Well done Capcom. Bonus plus: it's download only.

If it was Wii U it would surely hurt. Nintendo Switch has so many great games already and it will continue to have the next few months. So when I read comments that Animal Crossing's delay hurt their E3 presentation I know that it is all just down to the usual internet whining.
