I don’t know if I am getting this mixed up with something else (piggy is what’s sticking out to me, is there another game with this type of character?!) but wasn’t this a game that was very unlikely to come to switch?

I think it looks good, really like the character style and art style. Turn based RPG is a genre that’s growing on me too.

Personally I prefer the original look of the game, I can appreciate getting to see it in a slightly more realistic form but I can’t help feeling that I wouldn’t have been as enthralled had this been the style. I played 300hrs of it so far and still have quests to complete, part of that is down to the beautiful colours and unique look of the game.

Not keen on ‘vape lord’ link either, its just a little overdone in that respect really.

It looks lovely. However it’s not for me, I have never been able to get into the Pokemon games for some reason, on paper it ticks all the boxes of things I like but the gameplay has just never grabbed me.

I will be waiting for the physical release (who doesn’t love a book in a game box?!) really looking forward to this one.

Just bought the game last week, I owned the original in Wii u and loved it but this kept being pushed to the back of the must buy list for games I hadn’t played. I haven’t come across drinks tickets yet though? What do they do and where do you get them?

My husband bought the PlayStation with their VR kit. I can’t play it. It makes me feel sick in a seasick/vertigo type of way, my eyesight isn’t great and I wear glasses, don’t know if that’s the issue but any fast movement on it makes me want to vomit!! For me VR wouldn’t be something I would be investing in for the switch.

Oooh dragons and mythical creatures galore! I haven’t played this but these shots have my attention....

@Sephiroth_FF I know for some the releases are tiresome but for the likes of myself who missed a lot of the game boy titles and a few of the consoles between nes and N64, these releases sometimes get me more excited than new stuff!

I was desperate for them to release the first in switch, I thought it looked perfect for switch so I will be buying this and hoping they bring the first over too

@Malcrash given the right mood though that kind of gameplay still has its merit. I can’t wait for this one.

I always buy the Yoshi games, but I am yet to complete one. There is just something that doesn’t grab my attention and keep it. It looks fantastic visuals wise but they always do.

Now this got me very excited!!! It is a beautiful looking game. I will be picking this up as soon as I can.

I haven’t played these so would be pretty keen to have a go. Still feel like I might be waiting for a review or two before I make my mind up...

SO FREAKING EXCITED!!! this looks fantastic, I didnt play the original but am a massive Zelda fan so for me this is a brand new Zelda game experience. Happy happy.

I owned loads of Dizzy games back in my Amiga 500 days. I didn’t even know they had been released on a Nintendo console to be honest. Always up for a trip down nostalgia lane though!

@dystome I downloaded a few of the originals a year or two back and loved replaying them. They obviously are pretty short buy today’s gaming standards but I still enjoyed the nostalgia trip if nothing else.

If he brings me something along the lines of the fable series I will be all over it like a rash! I played those games to death when my kids were wee and I hold Fable 2 responsible for my eldest sons deep love of computer games.

For me they were the perfect balance of plot, humour, action and fighting.

I loved the first season and was super excited to finish the series but like others, there’s no way I am buying the last season if we aren’t getting the middle ones...

My kids loved the series, I didn’t get to play them so for me it would be worth a go at least.

I tend to buy hard copies anyway, I still refuse to own a kindle haha just prefer having a collection that’s truly mine I suppose. Love the addition of a booklet in the box, makes me very nostalgic for my 90s gaming!

This game looks and sounds fab too, will be keeping my eyes open for this being released

I haven’t checked the e shop yet but have the other seasons been added? I have season one but couldn’t see the others at the time.

@Audiobrainiac I could see the Disney element for sure, I just looked on IMDB and I have seen (and owned) pretty much everything he made 😂. This will be a must buy for me, if only for the nostalgia kick.

@BanjoPickles I agree with every single thing you say here!! Space quest was one of the first games I bought with my own money (the one with you having to cheat in a test and ride a floor cleaner... not sure what number that is) monkey island I have played through so many times but never get bored of it, miss these games so much!

Unwritten tales looks right up my street, loads of jokes about my fav franchises, point and click, lots of humour.. yes please

I bought this and an N64 in 1998/1999 at the age of 19 and pregnant with my first son, many happy memories tied in with this game. He’s 18 now and quite the gamer himself 😂.

Personally I like it, but I was a huge fan of games like Machinarium. They are pretty to look at and easy to pick up and put down at will when you have a spare few minutes. Will be keeping an eye out for it.

I just bought season 1 and played it, really really enjoyed it so this is dissapointing to say the least..... Now I don’t know what’s more annoying, knowing there are others seasons there, but not buying them or buying them and being frustrated that the final season just isn’t complete!

Note to self... don’t read this stuff while standing at work waiting for customers to start arriving! Seriously made me weepy, well done Nintendo, it costs nothing to be caring and compassionate ❤️

Oh I have to go see if these are available yet!! Have been rocking the toy story watch face for ages, it does the same and changes to a new mini clip with a different character each time you raise the watch to read it.

@Zorox88 they are working on a title for switch aren’t they? I thought I remembered it being said that this title was coming to switch but I think I am wrong in that. Will be interesting to se what they come up with

Played the originals but I will likely get them again, these were among some of my favourite Lego games, I really hope they bring the Star Wars, indie and LOTR ones over too!

I would love to see perhaps an old Zelda game coming to switch, I have never had the pleasure of playing Skyward Sword so that would be awesome after playing windwaker for the first time on Wii U and buying the special edition of Twilight Princess for that too... gotta love classic Zelda

I love a story based game, it’s like somebody collided my two favourite things (reading and gaming)! This will be a big fat yes for me.

I have this on preorder.... not going to lie the chat about it being buggy is making me nervous, I was so excited to get this as it looks beautiful. Not going to cancel though and will just hope they patch the game. 😕

I gave this game a go not long after release and was really surprised to seriously enjoy it. As a result I bought the battlepass. Over the last week or so the lag has been insane, and just in the last few days the image/texture loading has been nothing short of awful, yesterday buildings just didn’t right themselves at all and I ‘fell through’ a broken one....

It’s a real disappointment considering they proved that it would run, and run well on switch so this just feels sloppy to me! I hope they fix it because I am keen to work my way through the challenges.

Bethsheda are doing an amazing job bringing fantastic games to switch and to a Nintendo machine. I don’t own any other consoles, my son has an Xbox1 but I feel no need to wrestle it from him when we are getting such fantastic games in a multi function machine.
