Seeing it all absolutely has me wishing they had a black dock version with the same embossed images as the back of the switch body, especially as the grip is black too. I just can’t help feeling the white dock makes it all look a little cheap.

Will be ordering the cart from Nintendo store (all about the pins!) can anybody who has ordered from the UK store shed some light on their delivery? I have always used amazon before and received it on release day, is this likely to be the case with Nintendo store? Just a little worried because I am trying to preorder and it’s only giving me the standard delivery option, dont really want to wait a week for it post release.

I think it’s safe to say that at this point I don’t actually understand what’s happening at all anymore 🙈.

Didn’t they have this kind of chatter way back at the start of Switch? I am sure I remember chat about back ups then. I can only remember it being something to do with wording on the back of the Zelda box I am sure and Nintendo had to clarify that should anything happen to your switch, your data could be transferred.

Glad to see them trying to clarify that everything won’t be lost, still hope there may be a direct to give us a bit more detail.

I think it’s a shame it’s scored so low. I preordered it and have been playing it today. As a newcomer to this particular game genre I am enjoying it and actually finding it quite hard! I have been trying to beat the same level for hours 🙈😂. The storied animations are beautiful to look at and do the series and original movie justice, I have yet to play it docked, and I can see the point about the characters maybe losing a little detail in handheld but not enough for me to feel disappointed.

For the price point, personally I am thrilled with it, a nice little bonus to the Dark crystal universe that I wasn’t expecting.

Well this makes it difficult to vote for the Europe one because I am 99% sure we must have had the variant that matches the American version, so I have to say, this week has to be America, it’s oozing with nostalgia for me.

Reading the comments now, and seeing that the Europe one was a later release makes me so glad I went with America!

Hmm I like these, still think I prefer to leave my dock plain though but these stickers are nice, very tempted. Are they only available in America at the mo?

@sanderev oh that’s fine, the one island thing doesn’t bother me too much. I am beginning to feel like these little bits of info here and there are starting to confuse me. 🙈 hopefully they will do a dedicated directed at some point that makes everything a bit clearer.

Are we able to play solo and coop? I would love to be able to have a game of each going if I can?

Going to be the lone voice but I don’t like the pastel dock 😬, just my personal preference though. I do like the joy cons though.

@Ooccoo_Jr it’s in the American Eshop news though with 4th Feb as the date (this coming Tuesday). Don’t think I can wait for a review, I will be diving right in. 😂

Dark Crystal, which seems to be missing from the list will be my only purchase this coming week, I can’t wait!

Hmm really torn now! I want those Pins, but do I get a cart or go digital.... I always buy big games and ones I know I will love on cart, I love having it physically in my collection, but so many people seem to be suggesting that digital is maybe the more sensible option here due to the way it’s played.

I find it really strange that people keep comparing how long BOTW took to how long the sequel should. The original game was planned for the Wii U and was heavily delayed when they chose to release it on the new system, it wasn’t a simple change to make and took a lot of work.

Judging by what we have seen from the trailer, the sequel is going to be a continuation of the first game in style so I think a lot of the hard work may already have been done. I am very hopeful that it will be a speedier release and don’t see any reason why this would mean it was rushed or inferior to the original.

I will have all my hopes pinned on BOTW2 with Pikmin as the secondary, that would make my year. I do feel quite optimistic that they may be a lot further along with it than we may expect.

Oh lord! So this week alone I have bought the last three seasons of The Walking Dead, I plan to buy The Dark Crystal, and now this 😬.... hmmm what’s more important, marriage or games?! 🙈😂

Hmm he’s a regular little ray of sunshine isn’t he 😬. Video games and TV are clearly not his thing, and that’s fine, I would also say it’s admirable that he allowed the adaptations to be made considering his personal feelings BUT maybe that’s because he enjoys the money coming from them?

I have always had a ‘don’t knock it until you try it’ attitude though, and I wonder if he has seen either or played the game even a little? I think he needs to be careful about speaking about them negatively if he hasn’t. I totally understand that The Witcher universe is his baby, letting it go must be difficult, but he allowed that to happen, he should be proud that it’s so well loved!

Maybe I come at it with a little of my own bias though. I have just graduated and would LOVE to get a story published and would kill to write for video games, I’m not precious about one media being better than the other, and he seems to be unwilling to look past the page when it comes to creativity.

Dark crystal is all I am waiting for. Waited almost a life time for the series, then a game surprise was dropped on us. Can’t wait!

It has to be Europe! I remember buying that box and being so excited to get started. It’s bold and striking in design and had moved away from the traditional Zelda look, as a result it felt like something new was coming.

Very happy little surprise today. I bought the first season when it was first released and was so disappointed that it looked like the middle two wouldn’t ever arrive leaving the last season dangling like a true rotting corpse! Time to continue the saga, happy days. 😊 Glad to flag it Nintendolife team.

Hmm interesting! I have finished the main game and playing the Blood and wine DLC but the game is very buggy at this stage so have left it to wait for the update. I have LOVED playing it, hope the update isn’t too far off.

Wow! If this is confirmed then we really are getting some awesome franchise on Switch! I dabbled in this but had to fight my kids for the computer so didn’t get very far, it was always one I wanted to explore more of.

Will be interesting to show this to my eldest and have a convo about it with him. He’s a massive PC fan and prefers the mouse keyboard play over a controller, so I can’t wait to hear what he thinks of this concept.

Interested to see what they do. I have had a couple of crashes in the later stages of the game but nothing to make me cry. The occasional glitch too (flying humans, floating horses and falling through the world anyone??) but they have been funny rather than a hinderance and nothing that hasn’t been spotted in games of this type for as long as I can remember. A wee graphical boost would be lovely but isn’t a deal breaker.

I am so excited about this. The Star Wars lego games were some of the best, along with the Indiana ones, Lord of the Rings and Hobbit ones. When the speaking characters came into them too the inside jokes about the films they were linked to made them some much better. Can’t wait!!

@Kang81 completely agree, they are very much responsible for getting me back into gaming after I had the kids! Fable, and Albion was amazing, although I never could bring myself to play as evil in Fable 3!

@Kang81 unfortunately the company who made the fable franchise no longer exist, they did have a new game in progress but couldn’t finish it.

I had my reservations but my youngest son and I have watched three episodes so far and we are really enjoying it.

I am looking forward to seeing what this is like. Henry Cavil (not much of a Cavil fan) put me off to begin with but so far in the clips I have felt he’s done a good job with the voice so it will be interesting to see how it turns out.
