@gcunit hats off to you for your positive thinking but I am afraid if you think this is over you are going to be in for a horrible shock. Brexit isn’t going to be some easy ride from here on in.
Anywho.... very glum Scot here who is ready and waiting to take Nook up on that island offer, where do I sign up?!
@KitsuneNight couldn’t agree more! I am actually quite surprised at my buying and playing habits on the switch, I do of course have some beloved Nintendo exclusives in my collection but there are way more third party, and port in particular, than I ever could have predicted.
@KitsuneNight oh that sounds good, love a vintage setting. Fable 3 was one of my favs. I know it’s not a popular opinion but I am loving the ports of these games, my kids were playing these games but I was too busy keeping them fed and watered to play them. 😂
@KitsuneNight absolutely I am really looking forward to getting it and having a go having missed out on the Creed series first time round. Currently working my way through Witcher 3 at the moment!
Wow it looks beautiful, lovely art style. By the sounds of it, it has all the elements of my ideal game too. I hate to be that person... but I hope they release a physical copy. When I am paying that amount and investing a decent amount of time I like to have a tangible keep forever copy.
I find it a little odd that there is a notion that only good games should be reviewed? Where to you make your comparisons if that’s the case? If it saves me a few £ too I am always grateful. If they feel a game is bad purely because it’s a bad game I let my own judgement come into play but if a game is riddled with bugs then it’s good to get a heads up.
@LavaTwilight I get you, I have been married long enough now to know that neither myself or my husband believe that line to be honest. I sell to buy quite often too. Couldn’t pre order it now and consider it your Christmas present? Considering doing that myself!
Truberbrook was a lot of fun, I bought the edition with the book and map etc, but for anybody considering playing, £10 is a great price for this bit of point and click fun.
@JayJ me too, my husband bought me Skyrim and I was so excited about it, but having attempted that, and a couple of other games to see if it was the VR and not the game itself, I know I won’t ever be able to play it without wanting to vomit!
@FragRed Myst III was Exile, it started with the puzzle with the posts that you had to turn to reflect light to each of them. The bad guy was played by the same actor who plays Grima Wormtongue in LOTR.
Suddenly I want to be his best friend!!! I got Myst III for Christmas one year and became obsessed with the series, fantastic games that are well worth the time and effort! They were unlike anything else I had seen at the time
To change the subject completely.... has anybody seen any info on The Dark Crystal game? It was expected in final quarter of the year but no sign of it .
As a massive RPG fan, I am over the moon to hear this, I hope it encourages them to look at Switch as a viable platform in the future. I have ploughed a good 70 hrs into this since buying it and know there’s plenty to be explored yet, one of the best examples of its genre I have to say!
Love the art style, giving me graphic novel or sim city vibes. Not normally my type of game but there’s enough here to have me at least curious to give it a try
My kids have both watched Faze for years, when I showed my youngest son this he couldn’t stop laughing, would seem the loyal fan base have no sympathy 😂
@Beermonkey I would kill to have the fable Games on switch! Never played Bioshock, was busy with small kids then and thought sitting them in front of these would probs make me a bit of a bad mum 🤣 but would love to get them now.
This is smart marketing in my opinion. I know plenty folk with little ones who will find this a great option for them. Let’s face it, this is a ds replacement, one that shares a Eshop with switch is clever.
It’s not going to be of any interest to those who want to play on the tv but as an addition for the kids in the household I think it’s great.
@zerocommazero I downloaded the zombie dlc the other day, it’s fair to say I am having even more fun with it now! Still learning, upgrading and improving and I am sure I am doing some things the long/hard way but it doesn’t really bother me. Loving that with each completed part I have a new challenge waiting for me.
