Wario wasn't actually voiced by Charles in this game. Martinet is a wholesome, admirable guy but I'll admit his memory seems to be a little hazy. I don't think he's trying to take credit for work that isn't his, he's 65 and that was a game 22 years ago released during a period where Wario had 2 interchangeable VAs, unless you have the mind of a supercomputer you'd never be able to remember that.

@HollowSpectre There hasn't been a main series Sonic game in 4 years. There has literally never been a HD Sonic collection, and Sega haven't made an exclusively Sonic compilation since Sonic Classic Collection in 2010. A new Streets of Rage came out this year and a new Alex Kidd is coming out next year.

When I first saw the leaked trailer I had my doubts, but over time it's been warming up to me.

@AtlanteanMan They had some garbage games on Wii VC. TMNT NES (but no TMNT 2 or Turtles in Time), Boy and His Blob NES, Sonic Spinball, a few others. WiiWare was mostly wretched too.

They make good games when working on their own, but WayForward is a shovelware company first and foremost.

First there was Avenging Spirit, then Silicon Valley, then Mario Odyssey, you have to wonder what'd be next. Not sure the possession formula would work for a linear 3D Crash game with generic enemies that usually only do one thing, but it'd be perfect for Spyro.

Hopefully it's harder than the original - that game was pitifully easy, at least in comparison to how it was marketed.

The mockups look absolutely brilliant, but knowing "Atari" (god knows how many companies have had this name over the past 50 years), it must be too good to be true.

Has there EVER been a good Doctor Who video game? The BBC are pretty half-assed when it comes to choosing devs for (console) games, the Horrible Histories Wii game was pretty rubbish too. Some of the old CBBC flash games were good though.

The concept of a dark and edgy Digimon game is still rip roaringly funny to me.

This game is absolute garbage. If you haven't played it, imagine Smash but exactly two items are forced on and you only have jabs and aerials. It's not even the checkers to Smash's chess, it's equivalent to a paper board game you'd get in an issue of the Beano.

@Kimyonaakuma I mean, I can kinda see why considering the big band music in 3D World and general "actors" aesthetic of the Mario franchise, but... even then, I just can't wrap my head around this in particular. I guess since you rarely see buildings in Mario games that aren't Toad-shaped?

@link3710 The gaming community is pretty much alone on the hatred of 4:3 and 30FPS. Movie and TV fans love 30, and many movies, especially indie productions or ones trying to replicate a retro feel, experiment with 4:3.
