Sometimes you stumble across an upcoming Switch eShop game and it absolutely confuses the hell out of you. The upcoming game Life of Boris: Super Slav by Lithuanian publisher SneakyBox would be one such title.
In the game, you jump into the 'hilarious' world of YouTube personality Boris the Slav King, who has 3.2 million subs to his name. According to his 'about' page, his channel is focused on "slav gaming, lifestyle, cooking, car reviews, animation and tutorials including end of month and budget cooking."
Players will get to meet his unique family, such as cousin Anatoli and babushka, or his neighbour Vadim, and find out what it means to be 'Cheeki Breeki'.
We're still not sure what to make of this, so let's consider the game's features:
• EXPERIENCE a true Slav life with one and only Boris. He will show you the true way!
• COMPETE with other Slavs in SlavOlympics. Show the gopniks how much mayonez you can intake.
• COLLECT all of the Boris’ favorite HardBass hits from Uamee, Gopnik McBlyat and DJ Blyatman.
• LEARN special recipes from Boris’ babushka’s kitchen.
• CUSTOMIZE Boris’ appearance with specially made balaclavas.
• DISCOVER all the possible endings of Boris’ adventures. Some may let you continue, some will leave you scratching your head.
Life of Boris: Super Slav lands on the Switch eShop on 12th November. Will you be checking it out?

What is... slav gaming?
@Guyokai gaming while wearing excessive Adidas clothing and squatting on gamer chair like true comrade
Still waiting for an Ashens game.
I know this game would get like a 2 out of 10 like literally every other YouTuber Game out there.
But this is probably cool for fans of the show!
It is actually a cute art style I wouldn`t expect for his brand. Who the hell knows, might be fun
A game based on a youtuber that I've actually heard about? Color me surprised, might check it out if it is good and not too expensive.
Ill Mitch videogame when?
Things like this are precisely why 99% of all eShop games are pure garbage. Nintendo chucked any semblance of emphasis on quality out the window. Yes, the Wii (for one) had its mountain of (physical) shovelware, but by and large its Virtual Console was kept lean, clean, and stocked with titles most folks would actually want to play.
Never heard of him, and I can't say the game looks appealing. Pass.
@AtlanteanMan They had some garbage games on Wii VC. TMNT NES (but no TMNT 2 or Turtles in Time), Boy and His Blob NES, Sonic Spinball, a few others. WiiWare was mostly wretched too.
@AtlanteanMan nah honestly Wii shovelware was way worse than this
At least Switch shovelware doesn't actively seem like it's inescapable or being prioritized over larger titles since it isn't sold physically nearly as often. The Wii's library is like 60-70% Walmart clearance bin worthy going off of physical games alone
I've never heard of it and can't be bothered to learn who it is.
This game came out on mobile a few years ago. I cleared it in about an hour.
I am from Slovakia, a Slavic country, and I am constantly offended when for the west a Slav equals a Russian. Russia is a Slavic country as well but the stupid stereotypical style of dressing, talking or behaviour (just look at this Boris) is just a sign of Russia and its people, not Slavs as a whole. The rest of Slavic countries do not look like russian Slavs at all and we consider it insulting.
@ummyeahnintendo some sort of freak olliolli X streets of rage game
Will be trash
You know the recent NintendoLife poll about best Wii games, where there were pages upon pages of rubbish-sounding games that you'd never heard of and probably never would again after trawling through the list trying to find the good games? They've found a new home.
@somebread Honestly, that would be perfect haha
I'm still none the wiser, and I fear I'll get stupider trying to find out. The blurb was rather self indulgent nonsense that didn't really describe gameplay outside of making us aware it was about him, and what he likes. Couldn't give a monkeys tbh.
Never heard of this guy
