Nintendo has teamed up with Jakks Pacific to bring to life the "ultimate" It's-a me, Mario action figure.
Kids of all ages can have endless fun with this 12-inch tall Mario, packed with over 30 phrases and sound effects from the iconic character's video game history.
Listen to phrases like "woo-hoo", "it's-a me" and many other others, while trigger points on Mario's hands, feet, and hat activate additional sound effects and phrases.
You can even pose Mario in five different ways to unlock game music (there are five tracks all up). Lifting Mario quickly - a bit like LEGO Mario - will also activate a jumping sound.
This poseable figure has 15 points of articulation all up and requires 2 AA batteries (batteries included).
You can purchase talking Mario in the US for the SRP of $49.99. It's available from Amazon, GameStop, Walmart and Target.

I can’t be the only one who finds this creepy. Right?
I may or may not want this.
Cool, another thing to add to my "Will play with for an hour, then never pick it up again" checklist.
This seems like something that should’ve came out decades ago.
@Blooper987 you’re not. I’m getting weird “Child’s Play” vibes.
My wife got this for me for my Birthday. My children have made it clear that it is no longer mine. Oh well.
@Blooper987 It's the creepiest thing since Tickle Me Elmo
Cool for kids I guess, more of a toy than a display figure.
His expression is off, he looks dead inside.
I would get Luigi if he will ever exist as a toy like this. Nice and big one like my Link doll👍
Some serious Childs Play / Chucky vibes
His gesture on the pic is just missing the knife even.
@geo-shifter @Blooper987 Words right out of my mouth. The whole commercial I kept getting heebie jeebies and thinking about Child's Play.
@Dazzle Hahaha I noticed that too Makes me wish I could see the talent scout's excitement when they saw that kid. Double whammy!
Demonic American Girl Doll: Mario Edition
Why is that sandwich so big?
@jump Because Mario is a hungry man.
I hate with all the bad portraying of doll.
Making jokes about demonic doll was insulting me.
It was like generalizing every dolls are evil and demons.
This is Mario talking doll, don't even make a bad jokes about him.
I see something innocent from that toy.
Lol he "looks" peacefull, but at night he will stomp on your face like the goombas. Hey! Its a Meeee mario.
(Or he will posess you with his hat, aka mario odysee style 🤣)
@Anti-Matter I'm sorry Anti, but this is one of those cases in which you are in the wrong for taking it personal, simply because people can think, feel and express however they like as long as they follow the rules of this site. Just as you label mature games in such negative ways, people feel negative about this toy.
Makes me think of the big Michaelangelo action figure I always wanted as a kid
This is neat, but to me the arms seem like way too short/small and it kind of ruins the whole thing for me.
Looks pretty cool. I have their Comic Con Link figure and you get a kit of toy for the money.
@jump because it’s the US
@jump Yeah without the sandwich (which served no purpose in the whole commercial whatsoever) it would have been a way less creepy toy. He looks like Chucky with a different head.
It's missing a kitchen knife...
if the Mario doll won't say "so long, gay Bowser", I'm not interested!
This would be an embarrassing purchase for an adult!
Just kidding... don't let your heart calcify.
Does it include the removed sound effect from Super Mario 64 that Nintendo said “So long” to? 😉
That sandwich was the best part of the commercial.
I’m hungry
Another week, another toy that makes NL commenters talk about "demonic dolls" and "dead, soulless eyes".
Meh, it's a doll. Not particularly interesting to me, and my kids have aged out of the target matket.
Who wants to eat a big sandwich?
Mama, I want a foot long Mario For Christmas that could yell at me in my sleep when I forget to turn it off. This is for the kids who still go into the Target toy area, see Mario, than beg there parents to buy it for 100 USD knowing how expensive these toys are these days.
@LatsaSpege lies!
When I was still kicking under 16 I loved the heck out of any type of trandsformers (Transformers, Beast Wars, Beast Machines , Power Ranger megazords, figures with armor you could put on/take off,
''Friends until the end of World 8'' XD
Yo, I need two of this yesterday, it's the ultimate collectible for all Mario fans out there, let's-a go!
@Ratking I think that you are taking things too seriously. Most people are simply joking and even if they really find it creepy or off looking, they won't be afraid to interact with it. In my case, I collect a few figures so as a customer I dislike when a figure gives me that impression because I like to have good representations of things that I like.
I can pretty much guarantee that the majority if not everyone here knows that it's a lifeless toy without the need of you pointing it out. Most people can also see the difference between fiction and reality.
As you said it's just a doll, and just as it's just that, people simply dislike it. No big fuss. How is that triggering you and some people is beyond me.
@USWITCH64 Oooh l will ask for him next year then! He is my favorite
And the sandwich is there because? Also Mario does not sound right
I have two of these so far. Can't help but buy these figures from Jakks.
@Anti-Matter come on man it’s a joke 🤣
@RandomNerds That's great advertising
@Ratking Not understanding what annoys you or disagreeing doesn't mean that I feel annoyed by your comment. All I can say is that the Internet as a whole is like that and that you should be expecting for comments to repeat or be similar since with all that many people on Earth, similar opinions are expected. I also don't see how a particular feeling about something is "dumb" but you do you. For me, when I don't laugh with a joke I simply move on with my life. It doesn't make much sense to confront someone just because of that and I don't see the point in a never ending battle since more people will appear and they simply won't stop making said jokes.
