@rushiosan I enjoyed it. It added tension for me when it would happen in major battles and pushed me to be more adventurous with my weapon choices, rather than just sticking with one sword the whole time. Weapon hunting and fusing became my own little side quests every once in a while

I just beat it today. I don't even want to say how many hours I put in, but, I'm going to give it a rest for now.

My favorite sword (that takes some rare resources to rebuild) was destroyed in the final battle, as was a very, very special shield. It felt fitting for a finale, but I'm a little salty about it lol

I was going to vote Auto build because I got 80 hours in before I actually found that ability, but I'm voting ZL to flatten things because I'm just learning about that now!

I've never played a PoP game, but this trailer gave me Metroid Dread vibes (the counters, cutscenes style, etc to the point I thought maybe they made the game) so I might check it out

The voice acting is a complete turnoff in these titles. I replay the SNES versions regularly but don't see myself going through any of these more than once, if at all

I can understand BotW being at the top (hopefully soon to be dethroned Friday) but...

I LOVE Super Mario Kart, it will always one of my top 3 of that franchise, but MK8D is clearly better in every way yet the former made it in over the latter. Super Metroid and Prime are too low (in the 60's and 70's?!)

I liked her and I really loved this version of Zelda. I never felt I needed to put Japanese voiceovers on (like I was tempted to with Fire Emblem Engage... Ugh)

Urbosa by a long mile. All of her cutscenes gave me chills, especially her line about Ganon being a Gerudo, and the DLC ambush scene.
A Daruk/Mipha tie and then Revali would round out my ranking.

Of course the one I don't have is stocked by GameStop, who has messed up the last few preorders I've done with them. I'd much rather deal with Best Buy or Amazon! I've never had a problem with them

I've never played any of them. I know it doesn't count but I did play and LOVE The Last Story which I guess takes heavy inspiration from them (and was made by one of the FF creators?)

I'm definitely getting the game, but I don't want to expose myself to too much of the game beforehand- besides the announcement trailer a couple years ago, I haven't watched a single clip. If the trailer is like the Jan 2017 BotW trailer (which I still watch to get goosebumps every now and then) then I maaaaay watch to get hyped.

Maybe it's because I've never played the game so I have no nostalgia... But these are all terrrrrrrible covers. I'd vote none of the above

I had a red DS lite I traded in for my first 3DS, a Blue 3Ds, then upgraded to red 3DSXL, finally upgraded to black *New*3DSXL.

I voted the NA/Europe version because 1) nostalgia and 2) Princess Toadstool still looks helpless in the Japanese version, despite being capable of kicking a** in this game.

Mario 2 was the first game I remember playing as a toddler, and the one I was the most attached to because the Princess made it so accessible since I could float over most things. It's considered amongst the worst 2D Marios by many but it's still my absolute favorite over 30 years later.

It's funny. Zelda is up there with Metroid as one of my favorite series. A new Metroid is announced and I go ape$#!# that moment. A new Zelda is announced, and I'm not at all excited until it's starting up ony system

@Lizuka same. The gameplay is fun but I despise a good portion of the cast, and the story is dull. I finished the game because I felt obligated.

I enjoyed Three Houses and even Three Hopes more than this

@Mauzuri it's all to preference... I actually replay MM and OoT a lot, and I'm only holding back from my 3rd run of BotW because TotK is so soon. LOVE TP, loved SS ten years ago but have since grown "meh" about it, and I would be fine if I never played WW ever again in my whole life.

For this cover art, yeah, Japan's doesn't really capture what the game is about. NA/E for sure.

To the comments saying she is now too aggressive (the one I wanted to reply to is gone) what about her in the new trailers has shown she's aggressive? Because I don't see it.

Sigh. I really, REALLY would rather Wario Coliseum from DD! It was epic

I'd also even argue that TP's Hyrule Field is far better than OoT's, there's so much more to do and discover (Caves! Bridges! Horseback fights! Pterodactyl things!) and the theme, despite not being the highest quality available at the time, was still epic.

OoT and BotW are my absolute favorite Zeldas, but Hyrule Field is the weakest part of OoT. Sure it was magical the very first time you had to cross it, and again when you got Epona, but in every playthrough since it's just a blank area you have to cross to get from Point A to Point B. The only thing it has over BotW's version is the theme.

I LOVE the art style of these games, and want so badly to jump into this one, but I got burned out by the grinding bore of the first game after only 20 hours. It didn't help that the characters didn't acknowledge eachother much at all. I need to read more reviews and watch a few gameplay videos to see if this one improved enough for me.

Until then, I do have a good backlog going (and MPR cut in line)

I don't remember who my Robin married but I vividly remember Chrom and Sully marrying, and my being confused because I didn't remember them even talking much. I think by that point it was by default, since he HAS to marry someone for storyline purposes?

So I've played several levels on both the Switch and XBox versions.. I prefer the looks of the XBox version (I hate the NSO borders!) but, with the NSO N64 controller I had an easier/more enjoyable time playing on Switch. Goldeneye on XBox just controls weird for me.. and I've played Perfect Dark there and had no issues. Someone will prob tell me "They're identical controls dude" but it just doesn't feel the same.

Glad the gong sound survived and the online panic was for nothing!

Can we just, PLEASE, get rid of these ugly borders?!?! I'd take that over folders...

Has the online improved with the N64 titles? I tried Mario Kart 64 when it first came to NSO and it was terrible. If it's good now, I will be forcing my friends into some death matches this weekend

@BrianJL it was my favorite too! My friends knew it was game over if I managed to get my hands on it in multiplayer

I'm looking forward to this, but as others have said I hate that everyone looks the same. It's as if they printed 20 copies of the same generic female face with large wide open eyes and then colored and styled them differently. Same eyes, cheekbones, chin, etc.

I'm sorry, why are you announcing DLC before it's even arrived? Now the game feels incomplete, or that you purposely left things out to make a bigger buck. Ew.

Love Fire Emblem. Don't love this.

3DS Rainbow Road for sure, it's gorgeous. I didn't care about it on 3DS like everyone else did, but the visuals and instrumental here are breathtaking.
Peach Gardens is a close second. I loved it back on the Wii, and was not expecting the twist for the final lap. Even though the Tour tracks are the weakest of the bunch, this was an incredible grouping and I hope the last 3 packs can match this quality.

I think there's a location missing: the downed, submerged space frigate. It's a lot like the one at the beginning of the game, but it would easily rank at the bottom of my own list due to the frustrating water navigation (the only part of Metroid Prime I can't stand)

Super Mario Chase and Metroid Blast from Nintendolans for Switch (somehow) pleeeeeeease

Ignoring the fact that they are ports and the very questionable choice of only releasing the finale of a trilogy, Batman and Mass Effect were the best Wii U launch games. New Super Mario Bros Wii U was just fine but I think Nintendo would have nailed it had they released Super Mario 3d World at launch instead

Sometimes I do, I may take the Pokemons name from another language and use that as their nickname if there's something special about that individual (like my shiny Charizard, named Glurak, which my phone just tried to change to "Gloria")

They both seem dull. The purple racer just isn't aesthetically pleasing enough to be the main focus, it's too generic
The green racer in the background looks like Bulbasaur

I don't care if it's Odyssey 2 or a new direction; I just want the next Mario to control like Odyssey and Bowser's Fury did. The movements and control were so smooth in those two experiences. This made me want to go back and do a 2nd run through of Bowser's Fury

Edit: cheating to include the 2017 Switch Direct Presentation / BotW trailer theme. It's not in a game, but my god that music is SO good.

With that roster, and N64 releases being once a month or every other month, I'm guessing Goldeneye is late 2023. Sigh.

I haven't played Bayonetta but Hale is an excellent voice actress so there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

I hope that she plays Samus again down the line, if Samus is ever forced to have extended lines again

Goldeneye, Fire Emblem Engage, Peach's Garden, Octopath 2 (which may have improved on my complaints from 1), and the Tears if the Kingdom name reveal were my highlights.

I was a little bummed we didn't get Twilight Princess or Metroid Prime... BUT I can't complain since I already own both, so I decided to dust off the old Wii U to scratch that itch.

@MetaRyan I think it's both for sure. Tears/sadness, and Tears in time, space or dimensions (related to the floating sections?)

I need Goldeneye ASAP. It also gives me hope for Perfect Dark and Diddy Kong Racing.

Mario Party 1 seems like a bad, baaaaaad idea. The joycons and the Switch N64 controllers will not survive.

This was the one announcement I let out an audible gasp for. I wasn't expecting it to actually be true.
And just now a remaster was officially announced for XBox, so I'm probably going to play that more!

I love Pokemon and I'm apathetic about Splatoon, but I voted Splatoon over Pokemon. I like the red and purple on Pokemon, but the Splatoon design just seems cleaner and less busy (like the back of the Pokemon design)

I have Twilight Princess HD on Wii U, but I'd gladly get it again for Switch. Some of my favorite Zelda dungeons are here (the sky temple and it's boss are incredible) and I just love the overall atmosphere of the game.

Wind Waker I'd pass on. I replayed the HD version last year and the sailing just kills it for me
