Capcom Arcade Stadium is a fun app on the Switch, which is free-to-download and is packed with a lot of very reasonable versions of the company's cabinet classics. Aside from one freebie in 1943: The Battle of Midway and the option to buy the original Ghosts 'n Goblins, we've had to buy packs of games for $14.99USD a pop, or go for the option to pay $39.99USD for all three packs together.
Considering the sheer volume of games the pricing isn't too bad, but there are multiple titles we may already own through other collections, so a pick and mix approach has been in demand. Well, Capcom seems to have listened, as you can now pop onto the game's eShop page and buy each game individually.
Each individual arcade title is priced at $1.99USD / €1,99 / £1.69, which is the standard price moving forward. It's also worth noting that right now the packs and all-in-one option are 20% and 25% off for the next 12 days, to tempt you into picking up the bundles.
As a reminder, the full game list is below:

Already have them all. I'm waiting on new games.
That's cool, but I thought they were finally announcing what the new games would be, oh well.
Hamster, did you see the price?
Edit: I understand that Hamster has to negotiate deals with the owners, so they probably can’t go as low as Capcom — but still, $8 is quite a bit more than $2.
£1.69 for Street Fighter - excellent!
This is the way it should have been from the get-go. At least they have finally added it as an option since there might be some games players wouldn't be interested in on one of the packs. This saves gamers some money to spend on other things if they have no need for all the games.
Well this is exciting! I'd actually pay this some attention now. It's on me I haven't dipped into these yet as I have no idea what some of these games are. The names on some of them don't even ring any sort of bell. Anyway, I'll check them out and pick out a few.
Final fight is a must. 1.69 for this magic
It's great to have the option to buy a la carte! Forgotten Worlds and Bionic Commando especially are worth way more than $2 for me - I'd spent that in 30 minutes back in the arcade days!
MIDWAY/ATARI, please take note!
This move might even tempt some procrastinators like me to buy the bundled games if the discount is appealing enough.
I guess I was holding out for a physical release (for this and the Ghouls & Ghosts Resurrected game). Sigh...
But, we still don't have Vampire(Darkstalkers) games... Sigh
Might get one of the street fighters
Thank goodness! Been waiting for either this or a sale. Actually saw it was on sale on PSN yesterday and hoped Switch would follow today.
Whether I buy bundle on sale or individual depends on prices. Majority of titles I want are in packs 2 & 3.
Funny, I was in the eshop the other day to see if they had implemented this very thing yet, as I was sure it was going to be a thing. Very happy to see it here now. Now to buy the 19XX and only 19XX!
Sweet! I bought arcade evolution but just wanted one or two from the other packs. Bring on Alien v. Predator please 😂
Nice, time to grab Progear and GigaWing
@Tandy255 I’m hoping that hamster gets their hands on these games just as they did the namco games after namco released their own compilations
Sweet, been waiting for this my whole life!
I was hoping they were going to release titles individually…time to dip in.
Waiting for Capcom to add more games here.
i mean, it's gotta be cyberbots, no questions asked
Are any of the multiplayer games online or are they local multiplayer only?
While nice we do need more games for the collection. C'mon Capcom more games like AVP, Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold, Eco Fighters, Street Fighter the Movie: The Game, Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX, Hyper Street Fighter II, Mega Man: The Power Battle and Fighters, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, Pocket Fighter, Hyper Street Fighter Alpha, U.N. Squadron, Power Stone 1 & 2, and Darkstalkers 1-4 for Arcade Stadia would be fantastic.
I would absolutely love a physical collection.
Wow. That price is refreshingly reasonable
Yay! Time to buy a few of these.
Be awesome to pick some of these up for £1.69. I put hours into a few of these beauts, like commando and bionic commando on my ZX Spectrum back in the day. Not a patch on the these versions like
Like the price - hoping to see UN Squadron added!
Overall, I already feel like I have most of the good games through other bundles they have released over the years.
@Specter_of-the_OLED I am dying to get Alpha 3 Max
That's pretty cool that this is an option now. I already had quite a few of the games on other and more indepth collections for their respective games, so being able to get the games I want is really nice and I'm totally going to pick up the ones exclusive to here for sure
Oh thank the gods, AT LAST. Been wanting to play quite a few of these on Swich but didn't want to buy more versions of Street Fighter 2 again.
Oh wow, looks like I'm going to be playing some Strider tonight.
Come on where are the new games, they were meant to release in May. cash buyer waiting.
@cyrus_zuo UN Squadron is great, I have it on Snes. The music that plays over the character select/map screen is almost the same beat as that "chocolate rain" song from years ago.
I'd like recommendations on which of these titles are most worth buying. And particularly which Street Fighter II is best out of these.
Nice! Just picked up Giga Wing, Ghouls’n’Ghosts, and Strider
Are the games downloads or streamed? Makes a big difference for me.
Simple proof: If they can be played offline they are downloads for shure.
@sketchturner Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo is the best version I'd say.
@sketchturner Depends on what your tastes are. Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting is probably the most recognized version, while Super Street Fighter has the most features/fighters. Personally, I prefer the original.
I didn’t know Strider was on this thing!! Another reason to not upgrade my NSO membership
Great, I already had many of the games in other collections, and having some beat'em ups twice on Switch really hurt. I'll be picking them up individually. They should have let us buy them 25% off too, though.
I'm a bit confused by the naming of the SF2-games (well, who isn't). Is the Street Fighter II Turbo: Hyper Fighting mentioned here the same as Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting that's part of the 30th Anniversary Collection?
Yes, this is much better option. I had no interest in packs because there's only a handful of games I wanted. Now I'll pick them up
@Teksetter you mean Warner bros please take note as they own all those classics!
@Sinton I think turbo added some extra moves such as Chin Li's fireball. Hyper just added the bosses as characters........ I think. (Would have know this 25 years ago or so!)
I grabbed 4 games. Ghouls n ghosts, strider, bionic commando, and street fighter II turbo
@joey302
Thank you for the correction! I don’t pay enough attention to corporate acquisitions.
I mean, whoever thought Marvel would sell out to Disney, or DC to Warner Bros?!
Wadda revoltin’ development! 😄
@Coxula downloads
Wonderful idea! That's what I was waiting for. Gonna get some right now!
I'd like U.N. Squadron and other shooters and Powerstone and other fighters and put it all on a cart and charge like $40 or $50, pretty please!
@Sinton Street Fighter II: Turbo Hyper Fighting and Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting are the same arcade game just different region. Turbo Hyper Fighting is the Japanese version and Hyper Fighting is the international version just like how Street Fighter Zero 2 is the Japanese version and Street Fighter Alpha 2 is the international version. Because the Japanese version of Hyper Fighting was called Turbo Hyper Fighting, Capcom change the Japanese version of Super Street Fighter II Turbo to Super Street Fighter II X so to not confuse the two. To know the Street Fighter games here's a list of all the SF games up to Alpha 3.
Street Fighter (arcade) = Fighting Street (console)
Street Fighter II World Warrior (worldwide)
Street Fighter II Champion Edition (international) = Street Fighter II Dash (Japan)
Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting (international) = Street Fighter II Turbo Hyper Fighting (Japan)
Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers (worldwide)
Super Street Fighter II Turbo (international) = Super Street Fighter II X (Japan)
Hyper Street Fighter II (worldwide)
Street Fighter Alpha (international) = Street Fighter Zero (Japan)
Street Fighter Alpha 2 (international) = Street Fighter Zero 2 (Japan)
Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold (international) = Street Fighter Zero 2 Alpha (Japan)
Street Fighter Alpha 3 (international) = Street Fighter Zero 3 (Japan)
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper (international) = Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper (Japan)
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max (international) = Street Fighter Zero 3 Double Upper (Japan)
Hyper Street Fighter Alpha (international) = Hyper Street Fighter Zero (Japan)
Bargain! Just installed it and grabbed SF2T and Progear. Will be keeping an eye in the comments for recommendations, as there's quite a variety available
For UN Squadron fans, check out Carrier Air Wing. It’s the spiritual sequel to it and the game play is super similar.
Where's Black Tiger, Magic Sword, King of Dragons, Knights of the Round, Willow, Red Earth, Dungeons and Dragons etc?
@Teksetter I agree totally lol. Money talks as they say lol. Problem is corporate entities forget what assets come along with their acquisition/s a la Warner Bros with the Midway/Atari Games classic arcade games, which stinks cause there’s tons of good ones! Thank goodness I can play the Midway Arcade Origins collection on my
Xbox one/Series X (no thanks to you Sony) lol
@Slain good call
Picking them all up for the equivalent of a buck and change a piece is an easy sell for me. Even cheaper than the Johnny Turbo games when they're on sale.
Better off just buying a Pandoras box or raspberry pi build than this.
I’ve had this on wishlist for a while so saving 25% on all three volumes was perfect.
Also great they let you try it for free to see if you like the way they’ve done it.
@Axelay71 some people have both? This is a great package UI/online/ranking/manuals (ok, not original) and MAME is a pain.
@TryToBeHopeful yes I have Pandoras box, Raspberry pi, and Atgames legends ultimate with coinops x that blows everything away certainly for old school retro. This Capcom device doesn't have enough choice for the cost. But hey each to there own.
I bought four of these games when I found out. I'll probably buy a couple more today.
UN Squadron is a licensed game, so I don’t see that coming anytime soon.
If we do get licensed games, I’d much rather have stuff like Cadillacs & Dinosaurs, Alien vs. Predator and Marvel vs. Capcom.
