The charming puzzle-platform game BOXBOY! originally started out life on the 3DS eShop in 2015. It then received a sequel in 2017 titled BOXBOXBOY! and in 2018 the final chapter BYE-BYE BOXBOY! was released. A physical compilation was also made available in Japan, along with a Qbby amiibo (the main character in the series).
The next entry BOXBOY! + BOXGIRL! for the Switch, arrives on 26th April. To help promote this upcoming release, Nintendo has now released a demo for the game on the North American eShop - allowing you to see what this series is like if you haven't played it before.
The game itself will include more than 270 stages and for the first time ever, a two-player mode. You and a friend can take control of either Qbby or Qucy in this Tale of Two mode. If you manage to complete the main story, you'll also gain access to a bonus adventure starring Qudy (the tall one).

Do the servers actually work?
Just tried out the demo (I seem to have DL'd the demo out of pure luck...). I'm pretty stoked myself.
Going to have to invest in it eventually.

This looks awful to me.
Read another article online (yes I clicked on a "10 worst direct announcements") and this was on it... Awful article. I loved these on the 3ds and look forward to this on the switch. Remember looks ain't everything... I tell that to myself all the time.

Can't remember when was the last time I couldn't wait to try a demo. I just wish we had the full game for the bank holiday weekend.
Edit: I noticed it was for North America only. Now I'm sad.
Edit 2: I just refresh the page and it now says demo available. Can't download the demo from the website though.
