Re: Sony Once Again Takes A Leaf From Nintendo's Playbook In Japan

Beeeee-AHH-eer

It’s a good move to boost sales. Need to complete for gamers time. They won’t beat Nintendo numbers and Nintendo has nothing to fear but it could help drive more competition and push for better games/service

Personally I don’t like the situation Xbox is having as it l gives PlayStation too much power to do as they please. My thoughts of Nintendo is the same, too much power they do the same. Mario Kart World imo is a boring game that’s nowhere worth its asking price and the greed for charging for demos. Used to be a friendly company, now a greedy one. Competition could fix that and make them friendly again.

Re: Opinion: Sonic Racing Crossworlds > Mario Kart World, And It's Not Even Close For Me

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I always liked Mario games better than all Sonic games but think Sonic is a nicer mascot than Mario. When it comes to Mario kart I always feel it’s the best and only Speed Freaks on PS1 was the only other kart racing I enjoyed.

In this case Sonic is a winner for me for a change as Mario Kart World feels so boring and empty. There’s better racers to play and it’s not even worth its price. Haven’t played the game since launch and it remains as my regret to buy. Holding off for a lengthy time to see if Nintendo turns it around into something fun. MK8 was more fun on the Wii U. It give me a lot of laughs while MKW gives me bordom

Re: Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Director Highlights The Speed Problem With Switch 2 Game Cards

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I don’t care what they say, I will never buy one. If they can’t fit their games fully into a cartridge and run from that then its Nintendos own fault and they should be receiving the blame instead of trying to get gamers to just accept it.

For games that are too small in size, developers should be pushing Nintendo to provide more options. I’m open to the idea of buying third party games on the Switch 2 as long it’s on the cartridge otherwise PS5 is my full time 3rd party go to place while the Switch 2 is only for exclusives on cartridge

Re: Opinion: Metroid Prime 4 Reminds Me Of Gears 5, And It's Making Me Nervous

Beeeee-AHH-eer

The bike reminds me of Batman. That’s all I could see from the bike. And the open world looks like could be as boring as Mario Kart Worlds or how I originally once felt about Zelda BOTW, open world felt so empty for filler before we find something.

I think it will be disappointing so I need more gameplay videos to feel differently. At the moment it reminds me of Gears 5 too which I felt was done for the sake of having an open world area and took away some enjoyment of a nice linear game.

Re: Nintendo's Patent On 'Sub Characters' Could Have Some Dire Ramifications

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I think it's disgusting they are able to get that.

I'm sure Nintendo won't try anything against the already popular games from publishers that are in their good books but for any future games that try to complete and have a chance of creating something much better would become their enemy to use against. Nintendo will do everything in their power to prevent another studio making a better and more popular game than Pokemon.

Re: Poll: So, Did You Order A Nintendo Switch 2?

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I preordered one but I feel no excitement whatsoever for it. Feels like a pro release to me rather than a new gen. I preordered it out of fear of the price incase and because I wanted Mario kart. I’ve been playing over my mind the past weeks to keep it or not and now my order has been dispatched before I came to a decision. Now I’m going to wait for it to arrive, try Mario kart and then decide if I should sell it or keep it.

Re: Former Rockstar Dev Throws Shade At Mario Kart World, Says New GTA Will Be Worth The Price

Beeeee-AHH-eer

No game is worth that price. But between the two I feel GTA is more worthy of it than Mk. GTA will have a far bigger budget and work put into. Nintendo games imo, have always been overpriced mainly because they are generations behind.

I love their games but I never feel they are worth the price. Open world and rail grinds isn’t new and not worth the higher price tag. I get that some people feel their money is well worth by putting hundreds of hours into it but I think it’s a bad way of trying to justify a higher price because each race is just a repeat of the first with new players.

Only Nintendo can get away with higher prices and recycled stories as long as they add a new feature or two. The way I see it is if MK is worth $80 then PS4/XBO games should have been €80 as they are bigger budget games with more work put into. Nintendo is only charging what they charge because of demand not because they did enough to deserve it

Re: Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour Price Has Been Confirmed

Beeeee-AHH-eer

£4.65 may not be a lot of money and easily something we wouldn't get worked up over if it fell out of our wallets but for a demo it's too expensive and puts the company under a bad spotlight, espcially with the price of the games going up. Nintendo is surely trying to win the prize for being the most greedy

Re: Poll: So, How Would You Rate The Nintendo Switch 2 Direct?

Beeeee-AHH-eer

Looks good with a lot of gimmicks I will ignore so it only feels like a Pro model to me rather an a new console. Mario Kart is the only highlight and it’s not enough for me to buy, certainly with the new prices which puts me off entirely. There isn’t really a game I can think of that I need or willing to spend so much for.

Re: Poll: So, What Did You Think Of The Switch 2 Reveal?

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I thought it was okay. Happy to see it revealed but I need the April show and see what games get released to feel hyped. A new 3D Mario or Zelda would get me buying day 1 but anything else is a wait and see for me. MK doesn’t scream day 1 as I’ve a short enjoyment span with it nowadays compared to the older days. Have a good time for a week and then move on.

Re: Zelda Producer Responds To Fans Who Want A More "Traditional Linear" Adventure

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I would like to see more linear Zelda games and there's no reason why it can't be done as a spin-off game.

Some games just simply don't suit open world and linear is still the better choice, depending on the kind of game it is. And there's nothing to stop them adding linear into the open world games for players that would prefer it. A little toggle to turn it on and send directions in the order developers consider canon, turn off to allow players choose themselves.

Re: Soapbox: Six Months Later, Tears Of The Kingdom's Sense Of Wonder Is Still Unmatched

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I'm enjoying the game but I've been playing in small amounts when I'm away from home.

Was very disappointed with BoTW because I prefer the linear games and I hated the weapon breaking but ToTK is a lot more forgiving because of the fuse and new ability. It's a much better game that got me into this one now and makes me like BoTW for it's story. The exploring isn't as exciting for this one due not feeling very fresh, but it does feel like welcome back. Part of me would like to give BoTW another go but after experiencing the new features and the sky, I'm not sure I could go back to that.

The depths isn't all that exciting but the help makes it cool.

Re: Talking Point: So, Who Could Play Link, Zelda, Ganondorf In The Upcoming Zelda Movie?

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I think the best actors is someone that isn't very well known or hasnt landed a big role yet.

Tom Holland would be terrible even if he was able to look the part but he's well known for his role in Spider-Man and who wants to see Spider-Man in Hyrule. He charted the uncharted but he didn't make playing Drake his own. When I see Tom I see Spider-Man. So I'd like the actors to play those role that can be known for playing as them and owning it like Hugh Jackman being THE Wolverine

Re: Internal Xbox Email Details Desire To Acquire Nintendo

Beeeee-AHH-eer

It will never happen so there's nothing to worry about but hypothetically speaking if it did happen, then everything great about Nintendo would come to an end because it wouldn't have that Nintendo greatness anymore.

Xbox still can't manage their own studios to make any big killer games. They starve the fans for so long people just play anything new they release. They don't have the talent to create anything mindblowing amazing. Halo was originally meant for Apple and Gears was created by third party. Now they need Bethesda and Activision to carry them after shooting themselves in the foot with XBO launch. If a day came and MS acquired Sony and Nintendo, I'd quit gaming cos then gaming would be pretty much done. They are only one of the big 3 that can't excite me like they used to.

Re: Luigi's Mansion 2 HD Gets Spooky On Switch Next Summer

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I wasn't a fan of this one so to me this is the weakest of the three. Didn't enjoy the multiplayer much either.

I might give it another go though as it's the type of game I don't enjoy as much in handheld so if I'm to try it again, then I'd play it docked. Didn't mind playing LM3 in handheld but that too I prefer docked.

Really hope we see LM1 as imo it's the best and i miss that spooky atmosphere. Feels like it may not happen since Next level Games didn't make it and want to stick to their games with the humour instead of that spooky atmosphere

Re: Pokémon Company's COO Addresses Issue Between Release Schedule And Game Quality

Beeeee-AHH-eer

Releasing two games in one year wasn't the best idea. They should be taking more time and work on their projects and work closer with Nintendo to get a hardware that gives them the power/features they need to push the series forward further.

I know it would never happen but I'd like to see Bandai Namco to make a main game as they are experts at making anime games while GameFreak could work on spin-offs and remakes. I think they could make a game with some really cool animations that moves on from the 3DS days and put it into a big open world and some badass battle scenes. GameFreak will never agree to allow another studio to make a better game than them

Re: Talking Point: Should Link Have Voice Acting In The Next Zelda Game?

Beeeee-AHH-eer

Yes he should have a voice but maybe a limited one. Only speaks when he needs to.

Pokemon needs voice acting more than Link though. It's so hilarious and ridiculous when there's a big moment and there's no sound coming out. For example, that moment in the starting scene for Sword, can hear the cheering and all but there's not a sound coming out of Chairman Rose. And same thing in Violet.

Options is a good thing so they should stop cheaping out and give players the option to turn the voice off if they prefer that.

Re: Poll: What Did You Make Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom's Final Trailer?

Beeeee-AHH-eer

The trailer looks incredible! They always make amazing trailers. Unfortunally the breaking weapons is going to keep the game from feeling amazing for me as that is my biggest issue with BotW. If they could just let us turn that off, then it might just end up being the best Zelda game for me. As long as those games have breaking weapons to let me down, OOT will continue to remain as my top favourite.

Re: Nintendo Is Officially Skipping E3 2023

Beeeee-AHH-eer

E3 is long dead. Last I remember was both Sony and MS showing were so stale that Ubisoft was the one carrying the torch. If Ubisoft is making the better show, then something is very wrong with it.

I prefer to see them doing their own thing when they are ready to show stuff. It gets rid of the time wasting filler and keeps them from showing the same thing over and over that causes boredom.
