Never understood why these games were so popular. They just struck me as the same game with minor changes. I'd rather take the money and spend it on a better game.

If there's gonna be Rare games on this thing Banjo and Goldeneye are the most likely. I can't see them putting Conker and Perfect Dark on it due to them having an M rating.

@The_ghostmen both of those systems never reached the popularity of the Nes and SNES classic, and had many emulation problems. Nintendo could arguably be the first company to do a mini System right.

Just get an 8bitDo controller. They are cheaper, work with more devices, and the one I have is amazing. It's my go to controller for Street Fighter!

Might actually buy one of these, as it will be nice to have some Splatoon and Zelda stickers for my laptop. Does seem a bit odd that these are a thing, as I thought most kids these days only played Fortnite!

It's a shame that no one talks about the 3rd game. It was really ahead of its time, with a gritty techno soundtrack, a story that involved robots replacing politicians, and multiple endings and final stages that change depending on how you do. It's a shame though that the American version kinda ruined the plot.

So basicly he said "it's great that there are games for families, if you want real games, buy a PS4.". I'm so sick of hearing people say that Nintendo games aren't true games. I think people have kinda lost that idea that games can be something other then gritty shooters full of violence. That's one of the reasons I love Nintendo. They feel like one of the only companies who really take advantage of the medium to be really creative.

I wanna get into this series but I have no idea where to start. I tried the demo of generations and kinda found it hard to get into.

@frogopus ah, that's a shame. I mostly play indie/retro games on my pc. I'm not really into the big games that most people would use. Also, does the game have to have controller support to work?

I'm not interested in streaming modern games but if this allows me to stream the original Star Wars Battlefront 2 from 2005 then I'm sold!

When I saw the games roll by I actually thought one of them was Street Fighter Alpha 3 for a second, and I was wondering why they would be promoting the anniversary collection as it's not really a pick up and play game! Also am I the only one who thinks it's weird their promoting 1 2 Switch but not ARMS?

I don't care what everyone else says, but SOR3's soundtrack was amazing. I hope we get at least one song in that style.

Streets Of Rage is my favourite sega series of all time and I never thought it would be revived! I will definitely buy this.

I want this game, but I have a feeling it's gonna be on sale pretty soon. I found the newest Skylanders for nearly half off a few months after the Switch launched.

I'm happy they aren't just focusing on the first gen. There are a ton of Pokémon that don't get as much love cause they aren't from it. If a Buizel or Floatzel appears, even if it's just in the background I'm gonna be super happy

I just got Undisputed Street Fighter recently and I love it a lot! It's jam packed with information and the book is so well made. I also have Dynamite's other book in their gaming series, The Art Of Atari and I recommend that too!

I really hope Verdict Guilty gets ported to the Switch. It's a really good game and the price on Steam is pretty low.

I wouldn't necessarily buy a Kanto version, but if they made ones for other regions I'd be sold. A Sinnoh book would be a day 1 purchase for me.

Can't wait for people to complain about how they didn't announce any new games during this cause clearly every word Nintendo says has to be an announcement, right? 😉

@Katelyn1223 Woah, those are amazing! They remind me of a time when game consoles would get special translucent versions. Part of me still wishes those were more common!

I'd much rather have a port of Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic. It's a Mobile port done right, as it's basically a combination of Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 and 2. I would buy it again for Switch!

@Frendo I was thinking the exact same thing recently! It strikes me as sad that in a medium where you can do anything you can think of most developer's choose to do the exact same thing both thematically and gameplay wise. One of the reasons I like Nintendo so much is their willingness to break from the trends of the industry and try something new. Splatoon is a great example of this, as it breaks from the genre norms and delivers a colorful, family friendly shooter in a genre favouring grittyness and realism.

Never played one of these games but more major support for the switch is always a good thing!

Ive never played this, but It's a shame how games like this can only reach mass markets when given for free. Most consumers only seem to care about sports games and shooters now...

@NEStalgia Huh, I did not know that! Thanks! Although I don't think that knowledge is common for the average marketer, and the version they are playing was most certainly not in the arcades.

@GauBan I agree with that. I have been using the 8bitdo controller over a pro controller for my switch and it works perfectly. The price is also way better considering you can use it on computers, tablets and phones. It's perfect when I want to play some King of Fighters on my phone!

This reminds me of a time when practically every TV show and cartoon got its own tie in game. I honestly wish some more modern animated movies got games, just to see how they would adapt it. How awesome would it be to have an open world game set in the Zootopia universe?

And people say the Switch is lacking triple A 3rd party games... I'm sure whipping this out at the next party will make all the PS4 and Xbox one users wanna sell their old consoles and get a Switch!

@HobbitGamer Is it bad I kinda want to see a game as a team rocket member? I had an idea for the next Pokémon games where in one version you play as a normal trainer, and the other as a team rocket grunt. Both games would offer two sides of the same story, giving people more of an incentive to buy them both.
