I only have a couple of these things, but if they make more then just Gen 1 Pokémon (even though that seems unlikely.) then I'm all in! Honestly the style fits a bit better for Pokémon then say, Gears of War or something. Non human based figures seem to look better in this style.

This reminds me of when people thought Pokémon was about demons. Although this being banned does make more sense. It sounds like a filler episode anyway.

@UmbreonsPapa I guess they just don't sell as well or are as recognizable as the originals. Most parents would know who Pikachu is, but aren't as likely to know what a Scolipede or Mightyena is, for example.

@Kimyonaakuma people grew up with it. I think a lot of the people who played gen 4 are teenagers now, who likely arent gonna be buying Pokémon stuff, even for nostalga

@Kimyonaakuma yeah, I've noticed that, with both this and the remakes of yellow. Personally I find Kanto to be overrated.

I wish the other Pokémon gens got more attention in terms of merchandise. Where's my Buizel plush?

Usually I'm all for major games coming to the Switch, but this time I'm happy it's not coming.

I know Europe has always been a tough region for Nintendo, but this is crazy!

I never really saw the appeal for Xbox. it doesn't really have that many exclusives, and I feel like more console power is meaningless, as it mostly just makes the games look better.

@Jordino I bet they likely sold them on EBay. This whole thing reminds me of the time I found a bunch of 90's Pokemon stickers at my local Toys R Us. When I asked an employee, they said they had no clue, as they came on a truck a few weeks before. I ended up buying a ton, as they were really cheap.

@Jordino what were the games, and what happened to them? I'd hate to think that they'd get thrown away...

I already have RPG Maker on PC, and I really like it, despite trying the 3ds one and being frustrated with the clunky text typing. I guess RPG Maker falls into the pile of PC games I already own but want to buy again on Switch, like Undertale and Rivals Of Aether.

@wazlon no prob! It's easily the game I've spent the most time on the system. It's what inspired me to become more interested in the fighting genre outside of Smash Bros.

I'm likely going to get this one. As a person who has just gotten into 2d fighters after playing Street Fighter II on my SNES classic, and wanted a simple fighting game with easy specials, this seems perfect for a beginner to the genre like me.

I instantly looked up to see if he did the art for a card of my favorite Pokemon, Buizel (as evident by my profile picture.), and he has! Now I really want it...

Honestly, I feel the complaint that the Let's Go games aren't going to sell well due to them alienating core fans is false. Most companies do not target the hardcore audience. Most games are made to appeal to a mass audience, as it is what sells the best. The Let's Go games will sell simply as they are Pokémon games, and I feel like it is smart to appeal to a more casual audience. RPGS have never really been as mainstream in the west as other genres, and a simplified one may help that. That being said, I don't think all fans will reject it. As it is evident from my profile picture, I am a huge Pokémon fan, and I am planning on buying the game.

@scamander yeah, I've heard. Yo Kai Watch sells the same, if not better then North America in Europe. I wonder why.

I'm happy this is comming to the west dispite the limited popularity of the series outside of Japan, but I would also like Yo-Kai Watch 3.

If a Soulcalibur game ever comes to Switch, it needs to support the Labo fishing rod.

I kinda can understand why they would cut the non Sonic characters. Sonic is way more marketable and well known compaired to say, Shenmue or Alex Kidd.

This ad seemed so surreal. Never would I have thought there would be one with Switch and Xbox players playing side by side.

@GrailUK I think the problem is that because the Switch uses inferior hardware, many devs don't want to take the time to port it to something with a smaller user base.

@PanurgeJr EA barely recognizes the Switch. They only have FIFA on it, and nothing more. It's almost like they think Nintendo gamers won't buy non-Nintendo games and then barely makes an effort. Then again, this is just one of many problems with EA these days...

@Knuckles-Fajita wonder if this has something to do with EA, considering they basically see the Switch as nothing but a FIFA machine.

I don't understand why they could have just delayed the game so they could launch it at the same time. I guess they have to cash in on E3...

I think the problem with the Wii U was that the casual market the Wii had targeted had moved on to mobile games around the time it came out.

I have a nice Zelda case that can also hold the Switch, but this is pretty good.

@Anti-Matter yeah! The first game is only on PC though. The second game is also on the Playstation, but it is more of an action-adventure game.

@Anti-Matter I think you would like the first Lego Island game. It's an island you can explore, with minigames like racing and jet skiing.

Lego games are my guilty pleasure. I'll get it when it goes on sale.

I never understood the appeal of God Of War. It just seems violent for the sake of being violent. I do find it funny how little it is selling in Japan compared to everywhere else. Seems like they have the right idea!

Eevee all the way! Pikachu is too overrated, and Eevee is way more versatile!

I love this idea, but I feel it is a bit limited, as it only has Pokémon from Gen 1 and 7. It feels really hard to get merchandise for Pokémon outside of these generations. I can't find anything for my favourite Pokémon, Buizel, even though it is one of the more popular ones from Gen 4. I get that nostalgia sells, but some variety for the fans would be great.

@darkswabber I don't even play Overwatch and I'm pretty excited. I would like to see a line of Sonic the Hedgehog sets though, as they do have the rights to that.

What's next, Lego Overwatch? Oh wait...
