Today at Gamescom, Ubisoft has announced that Trials Rising will receive a simultaneous worldwide release on Nintendo Switch - as well as other platforms - on 12th February 2019.
We first heard about this one coming to Switch in June thanks to an announcement at E3, although a specific release date hadn't been set at the time. Set in new locations around the world with over a hundred tracks to choose from, Trials Rising lets riders travel the world and put their skills to the test through various levels of difficulty, hopefully beating the competition and shooting to stardom under the eyes of experienced sponsors to eventually become a Trials champion.
Digital pre-orders have now gone live for the Standard and Gold Editions of the game. The Standard Edition simply includes the base game, while the 'Trials Rising Gold Edition' includes the game, a sticker book, and the Expansion Pass, which provides you with two major DLCs and more for $40 /€40. Pre-order bonuses are also available with the Jungle Rider Pack - in which players can go wild in a gorilla suit - and the Wild West Rider Pack, which features a cowboy outfit.
Are you tempted by the Gold Edition? Do you want to see more details on Trials Rising before jumping into a pre-order? As ever, let us know below.

Never played one of these games but more major support for the switch is always a good thing!
Um...
Not interested. (Again)
I'm interested with Excite Bike Stadium from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe because i can Flip in the air oftenly.
Weeee....!!
@Anti-Matter you can flip in this too.
While I've your attention, do you actually like anything on the platform? Just every time I see you comment it's negative.
@frodouk
I'm Neutral with Trials Rising.
But that game wasn't fit with my criteria.
@frodouk except for when he was talking about how "Nintendo labo will be the best thing on earth"...
Yeah i have him on ignore for a reason 👍.
@Razer he's on my ignore list as well now.
I got the first one so will get this its a great game good fun
@Anti-Matter
Ignore them. It's just your opinion. Not everybody likes the same stuff. Why are they even complaining? Some of these games is uninteresting, and everybody is free to share his opinions.
Day 1 buy for me. Nkt sure how digital triggers will work but im.getting it anyway
@AxeltheBuizel There actually is one already on Switch, albeit only digital
@RyanSilberman No there's not. The one you are talking about is an awful clone which has nothing to do with a Trials game (besides there's bikes in it… ).
This game looks too boring for me, what I really want in a concern of motorbikes is a modern version of Elastomania.

Need to see how it plays without analogue triggers
I enjoyed playing Trials Fusion when it was free on XB Live Gold. I don’t know if I’ll pay an extra $40 to get the same experience on the go but it’s tempting.
@kobashi100 Yeah. Trials is one of the few games which really used analog triggers. Shame Switch isnt part of the beta program so players can share their thoughts prior to release.
Looking forward to some more trials though.
@NintendoKnight I think its the lack of opinion people react to. Whats the point in making a comment that adds nothing to the conversation?
@BumpkinRich @NintendoKnight
There's a difference between having an opinion and crying out loud each time a game comes out that's not all flashy colours and happy cuteness.
I am f*cking hype for this. I spended soo much time on trial fusion. I can't wait for this one!
@Tibob : Don't forget them shirtless chibi boiz.
@Silly_G
What what what ???
@Tibob : I was referring to Anti-Matter (adding to your comment about "flashy colours and cuteness").
I've played and loved every Trials game since the original Java-based ones way back when. To finally have one on a Nintendo console is a dream come true. Preordered!
@Silly_G
Yes But what the shirtless story ?
I would pre-order right now... If I could be certain that the Switch version won't be visually inferior to the PS4 version. Trials is by far one of my favorite game series ever. I'm just cautious about the Switch version.
To be clear, there is no question I'll be buying the Gold edition. I'm just going to have to wait to see if I should get it on PS4 or Switch.
Good fun these games, but when you've played one, you've played them all.
Day 1 buy, played alot of fusion, but i dont know how they going to solve the analog triggers
