Reminds me of Alien Syndrome on the Wii. An average game that I enjoyed way too much.

@MagnaRoader I would replay both Umbrella Chronicle games in a heartbeat. And Dead Space Extraction. I loved those on rail shooters on the Wii.

This is my favorite game of all time.

I just hear the music and I remember sitting in front of my TV on a Saturday morning, wearing my pijamas and exploring every nook and cranny for secret exits.

The smell of pancakes and my brother waking up and asking to play Super Soccer instead.

All of that before communism took a big dump on everything I loved about my childhood.

I liked a lot of the direct. I guess we do live in the age of entitlement. What a library!!!

I'm gonna buy a ton of games, more than I can play for sure. I'm triple dipping with Xenoblade Chronicles, having not only owned but finished both of the previous versions.

I want to give Tokyo Mirage Sessions a go. Never did it on the Wii U. That game always ticked my curiosity.

Luigi's Mansion looks beautiful, Link's Awakening is big for me, the SNES games are a sweet addition.

And finally, my controversial opinion: I cannot, for the life of me, understand why adults play Animal Crossing. I really cannot see the appeal, never have, never will.

I'm just about to finish the game for a second time on the N3DS... I don't know if I have it in me... Oh my god... I know I will do it eventually.

I finished X and haven't even started 2 or Torna... but still I know I will end up buying this... DANG IT!!!!

BTW, they should bring the Xenogears Saga to Switch and just put a lock on my free time.

Nice advertising for the PS4 version. I'll be getting that instead.

I hope this isn't the last 2D Mario. I love the creativity outlet that this game provides, but I also think this presents an opportunity for Nintendo to push the 2D Mario games into a place where a user friendly level editor can't take us.

I'm using it to finally finish Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii and then I'm going after Xenoblade Chronicles X. A bit of Rayman Legends, Sonic Lost World (which I know isn't that great, but it is still fun). I also still play Bayonetta 1 and 2, Super Mario 3D World, Virtual Console for DK 64, Mario 64 and Ogre Battle 64.

I'll probably replay both HD remakes of Zelda at some point. What a great console.

The game manages to be rather simple graphically and create a nice atmosphere at the same time.

I love when games do that.

I've already gone through the game twice on PS4, but I couldn't recommend it enough. This is easily the best game of this console generation. The story is great, the characters are great, the gameplay is great and the customization is great. Oh and Gwent is a fun card game.

As with many open games, it can be repetitive, but it is still more varied than most. And some of the sidequests are so engaging and fun.

This game had me excited but since the Demo I have been liking it less and less... am I crazy?

I'm getting this. I'm obsessed with this franchise. One of my favorites since way back in the NES era.

BTW, I've managed to finished Contra IV on DS which is considered by many one of the toughest video-games ever made.

I love how the Luigi's Mansion franchise is growing. I finally got and finished Luigi's Mansion 2 on 3DS and couldn't recommend it enough. Might even get the remake if it gets a bit of a price cut, maybe when number 3 releases?

This game is looking great. It seems I will have to buy it.

I want one compatible with my Wii U. I have so many VC titles from the N64 on my Wii U that would benefit so much from a controller like this...

I think Nintendo should stick to that innovation mid-generation launch strategy. They have created a category of their own, they don't replace but compliment more "hardcore" gaming machines like PS4 or a PC.

The N64 game wasn't a remake. More like a sequel. And it had its fun, but the original was legendary. Tough and creepy. It gave me the chills even with its chiptune music and old 8-bit graphics.

I love Mike. He has redeemed himself. He deserves a game, it doesn't need to be from the big N, but there is always the indie route.

I played 64 and Melee obsessively with friends back in the day... However, I'm on your boat. Ultimate is rather dull.

I think I'll get this for the PS4 and maybe double dip down the line. Mortal Kombat is a big screen experience.

I loved hating Bubsy back in my SNES days I don't know if my gaming life has evolved to a point where I can play something I hate and end up loving it.

I'm not as upset as some other commenters seem to be, but this definitely is a lackluster list.

Not the best genre on the Switch or even in general it would seem. I also tried to love Mario Odyssey more than I ended up loving it in the end. Not a bad game by ANY means, but I don't know, not that special either in my book.

I really liked Overland a lot and funny enough I got kind of interested in Neon Cab.

However Cuphead was the biggest highlight for me, followed by Cadance of Hyrule and Rad.

However, I would also like to see what an indie dev could do with those IPs.

I love that Nintendo is opening up its IP to other companies, maybe they should start doing so with Stafox, Metroid, Kid Icarus and many others that are not as popular as Zelda.

Couldn't bring myself to finish it.

A lot of people compare how 2D pixel games have aged and old 3d games... but to me this games look amazing. Maybe it is nostalgia, maybe it is an eye-of-the-beholder kind of thing, but I just love N64 graphics. I have tons of VC games on my Wii U from that era and play them regularly.

Dude, I expect crap from anything with the word Labo in it. There is no other way to go than up.

It was perfect. Super Mario Maker 2. Looks brilliant. The way they started building a slope was such a crowd pleasing moment. And you get it right away, how it works in TV mode and it seems pretty good.

Link's Awakening was so great to see. I can only imagine if they do that to the Oracle games or even the NES games, down the line. Part of me also wishes it was an original game and not a remake, but it is still perfect none the less.

The direct also sold me on Daemon X Machina. I downloaded the Prototype levels, haven't played them yet, but what they showed looks so good. Also I really liked the new Platinum game with the chain.

Finally, I'm already playing FF IX, waiting on VII and loving my Switch.

I think this team has been growing bit by bit and maybe they are a couple of titles away from creating a very good game.

I always thought they could be the perfect team to do a remake of Super Mario R.P.G. The Legend of the Seven Stars.

I really thought this would lead to an Star Fox new game announcement.

I swear this game is making me buy my subscription to NSO.

Big ol' 10 minute-gameplay show of Fire Emblem we'll get a release date. Followed by Final Fantasy VII announcement: available after the direct is over

Then we see a bit more of Yoshi's Crafted World.

Some Joker gameplay for Smash followed by a Persona/SMT announcement.

And finally: Metroid Prime Trilogy HD.

I would buy a New New 3DS with more power a new exclusives.

I remember being in my teens, buying a crazy game with Mario and Samus on the same cover. That's the reason I got it, I saw Samus and being the huge Metroid nerd that I am, I thought that was the closest I could be to having a Metroid game on the N64.

I got addicted to that game. Me and my buddies would spend countless hours playing. I know a lot of people discard that first game for being so basic, but I honestly haven't enjoyed any other more than the original. It was timing, just before going to college. I still keep my copy in great shape.

It should be "La Silla". Nouns have gender in Spanish and chair is female.

This is the type of game that NL tries to shove down our throats with an 8. Won't buy it, looks awful.
