People didn't read the panels of the boss rush in gates of finis and it shows. They connected the storylines at the end but not everyone played that far into the game and i understand why. It was very meta to get the "true ending"

One of the main things they actually did right is the pokemon designs themselves look like a lot of effort was made for the most part.

Quality aside the new pokemon games have alot of content. It took me a weekend to beat sword and shield where as it took me almost 7 days to beat SV. Now if they patch it I'll probably do a 2nd play through.
