The latest Japanese Charts data is here and it's another strong week for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, with the duo achieving another 577,279 sales over the course of the week to put them at a total of 3,114,571. Splatoon 3, meanwhile, added another 39,322 sales to make up a total of 3,407,477. What this means is that Scarlet and Violet are just a couple hundred thousand copies off matching Splatoon 3's total sales in just two weeks. Phenomenal!

While this week's sales for Scarlet and Violet are significantly less than the previous week (2,537,292), the games are still proving to be incredibly popular and there is currently no indication that the technical issues documented since their release have had any tangible impact on their commercial performance.

There are no new entries this week, and the only entry not representing the Nintendo Switch is Guerilla Games' Horizon: Forbidden West, coming in at number five with 10,107 units sold. Otherwise, it's yet another week dominated by the Switch, rounded out with Kirby and the Forgotten Land at number ten, selling 3,994 units and slowly closing in on a total of one million.
