Never got into DB as a kid but am a huge fighting game fan so I preordered DBFZ and am really liking it so far. Makes me really want some MvC on Switch.
@OorWullie 100% agree with the Blanka comment- he'd fit right in and I'd take him over any other SF character other than Ryu. My personal "dream fighter" would be Mudkip/Swampert just because Alpha Saph on the 3ds was my 1st ever pokemon game and that was my starter poke. Was hoping he'd be in pokken tourn but that never happened.
Oddworld Strangers Wrath. One of my top 10 games of all-time. Give me a release date, a way to pre-order it and the chance to have a physical version released down the line. Now all I need is a MvC Compilation game and Fire Pro Wrestling on Switch and I'm good for the next decade or so.
Just finished the car part of the Labo Vehicle Kit. 5 hrs down, about 3 to go for the rest of it. My 5 yr old is loving it though. The countdown now begins for Starlink, Warframe, and Ark (if its still on track for this fall. December is all about Smash.
@Bombdotorg999 @Agramonte Cool thanks. I played striker titan with a sword as my heavy and love thr sci fi shooters so I'll have to give this a go. Even got the warframe graphic novel to get ready. This, Starlink, and Smash are prob my anticipated fall games.
Please, please, please tell me this is like Destiny. I never jumped into this on the XB1 because I was too wrapped up in Destiny and I'm glad I didn't now. I'll gladly pay for some kindof starter pack like they offered with Paladins if this can fill my Destiny/RPG-loot shooter niche on the Switch. I never played Paladins either on the XB1 and now its one of our (me and the son's) go to games on the Switch.
Loved Ace Combat so Sky Gamblers looks real appealing to me. Hopefully they do the expansion to it also. I've really splurged this month on indie titles though. Picked up the physical versions of Yokus Island, Brawlout, Sonic Mania Plus, and Dead Cells.
Not a huge fan of these types of games just because I suck at them but I have the physical version of this pre-ordered. It really stinks that I have to wait till the 21st to play it though.
Wow- Zelda BotW, Skyrim, and now Octopath Traveler. OT is my 1st ever Jrpg and I am loving it- even though I'm getting destroyed at Ophelia's boss right now. Might pick up Pool Panic if it gets good reviews though.
The 2 big titles for me are Smash and Starlink- though I'm pretty nervous about the price and add-ons for Starlink. I'm honestly looking forward to Warframe more than I am any other title at the moment. If Fire Pro Wrestling World got ported to Switch, then that might be my most anticipated title.
Haven't read all the comments so if this has already been posted sorry- I just did a search for Warframe on the NA eshop and it popped up but with a TBD release date.
Just hooked up the Dreamcast after moving so Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2 and also Paladins- though I need to fix my aiming and sensitivity settings- I really suck at aiming right now. Picked up Crash yesterday so I'll be slowly working my way through all 3 games.
The Switch has been absolutely awesome for our fam. My kiddos want to watch cartoons on Netflix and I want to play some Paladins- no prob now. Our XB1 is our "media hub" with Netflix, Hulu, Prime and the Kinect, but the Switch has become nearly as essential now.
Absolutely love this game. I bought Overwatch and Battleborn for the XB1 when they first came out and really enjoyed both of them. Ever since Timesplitters and even Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, I've been a huge fan of these types of shooters. I do wish that the game rewarded more crystals though and that the price for skins wasn't so steep.
Absolutely love Overwatch so I went ahead and purchased the Founders Pack for this. Never played it on my XB1, but if its anything like Overwatch then I'm all in. I was a huge fan of the Timesplitters series (Timesplitters 2 and Oddworld:Strangers Wrath are 2 of my all time fav FPSs) so I love thr look of these types of shooters. All like the fact that they're not too hardcore with the blood and foul language.
Wow...just realized I'm not going to be playing the same SFA3 that I feel in love with on the PSP. Huge letdown because Alpha 3 is one of my favorite games of all-time. Like the other folks have said- we need a Capcom Vs anthology. I want Capcom vs Snk, and the SF vs XM/SF vs Marvel/Capcom vs Marvel games. This too is why I have my Dreamcast still hooked up.
Wow. Just...wow. I had this with DLC for both new 3ds and Wii U but for some reason never got into it. Took the chance and bought this version and have not stopped playing it. It's a ton of fun and I'm glad I took the chance on buying it for a 3rd time. The Switch is the perfect console for this game.
Hyrule Warriors all the way. And might do my first ever splatfest. Want to pick up either the physical version of Runner 3 or download Little Nightmares but don't know which one I should pick up. Also might try 88 Heroes since it was pretty heavily discounted on the eshop.
My young son loves battling enemies in BotW so this might be a buy for me. I do have both the Wii U and 3ds versions but all the content in one package (and the fact that my Wii U is boxed up in storage at the moment) might justify the purchase.
Sky Rogue and getting into Brawlout. Would love to finish BotW and get back into Splatoon but just dont have the time right now. Also would like to wreck shop as Thanos in the Lego DLC for MS2.
Manticore and might try Brawlout with the new update. Still not sure how to unlock character variants though. Also trying to level up in Skies of Fury DX and get those sweet shark skins for my plane.
Just saw Ready Player One last night so I might break out my homemade mini nintendo switch arcade cabinet shell and the 8bitdo arcade stick and play some shmups and neo geo fighters. Also skies of fury dx and i really need to beat the champions ballad but after i finish my masters degree and graduate this semester.
SF Alpha 3 and 3rd Strike on the go (though I do have the PSP version of SFA3). Now I just need some Injustice, MvC and Capcom vs SNK. Also DK is tempting because the kiddos can play it now without it being too hard.
I was disappointed when I heard the news- already had and have it pre-purchased- but I can wait. I have to give the devs some serious respect for delaying it if there was a genuine issue with the game. I know that can't be an easy call to make and I want to show my support to devs with the integrity to make the tough decisions like that.
Just splurged and bought Steamworld Dig 1, 2 and Heist on sale. I have 1 and Heist on the 3ds but never really got into them. Hoping to really give them a proper chance on the Switch. Also patiently waiting for Manticore. Guess its going to be a Steamworld/NCAA tourney weekend.
All about xenoverse 2. For some reason I never got into Dragonball but am watching season 1 of DBZ thanks to xenoverse 2 getting me interested in the anime. Also a little Flinthook, Steredenn, and maybe working on the single player campaign in Spla2oon.
For some reason I've been all over Skyforce Reloaded. I don't why but it reminds me of one of my all-time favs- Captain Skyhawk for the NES. Maybe its because Skyhawk was my go to shmup for the NES and Skyforce fills that niche for me for the Switch.
Just bought this and am cautiously optimistic about the game. I liked AV but man $25 (for me) is a pretty big eshop purchase. I was planning on buying Brawlout but I decided to go for this instead. Hope I don't end up having buyers remorse.
Really torn about this one. Big fighter fan, esp. Killer Instinct, Marvel vs series, and Injustice. Love combos in fighters- wonder how the hd rumble is?
Just bought Enter the Gungeon and Hammerwatch. My XB1 is collecting dust because I'd much rather play these games on the switch due to the ability to go portable when needed (ie the kids are hogging the tv).

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 28th)
Trying to hit level 60 with team OCHO (Olberic, Cyrus, Ophelia, Haanit) in Octopath. Also just got back into Paladins and bought Battle Pass #2.
Re: Nintendo Download: 19th July (North America)
Wow- Zelda BotW, Skyrim, and now Octopath Traveler. OT is my 1st ever Jrpg and I am loving it- even though I'm getting destroyed at Ophelia's boss right now. Might pick up Pool Panic if it gets good reviews though.

Paladins...even though I suck at FPSs. Also just got my old Sega Nomad out of storage so I might give that some love.

Hyrule Warriors and man do i suck at runner 3. Jumping up the freakin steps are what's killing me.

Champions Ballad, maybe some splatoon 2, dkc tf, and hyper sentinel. Gonna finally finish the zelda dlc then beat up on ganon.

Re: Nintendo Download: 19th April (North America)
Manticore prepurchased from weeks ago and fatal fury and will try the chariot demo
Re: Feature: Which Retro Classics Do You Want To See Come To Sega AGES On Switch?
Chu chu rocket, crazy taxi, virtua cop, as many saturn fighters as possible, panzer dragon, daytona usa

Earth Atlantis, Dragon Blaze, Strikers 1945 II
Re: Feature: The Biggest Retail Games Hitting Nintendo Switch This Spring
SF Alpha 3 and 3rd Strike on the go (though I do have the PSP version of SFA3). Now I just need some Injustice, MvC and Capcom vs SNK. Also DK is tempting because the kiddos can play it now without it being too hard.

Re: Nintendo Download: 8th February (North America)
Aegis Defenders already pre-purchased and am torn on disc jam and baseball 2020. Want one of them but dont know which one.
Re: Nintendo Download: 25th January (North America)
Brawlout for $14.99 is kinda tempting- was gonna pick up zero gunner 2 but celeste is getting some really good review scores...
Re: Quirky Puzzle Platformer Shiftlings Is Shifting Onto Switch
Haven't bought a single Switch eshop game yet this year, but this, zero gunner 2 and samurai showdown 2 might change that.
Re: Review: TINY METAL (Switch eShop)

OoT HD remake on the Switch while we're waiting for another BOTW-esque outing. BOTW is my #1 Zelda game with OoT a strong #2.
Re: Nintendo Download: 14th December (North America)
Just bought Enter the Gungeon and Hammerwatch. My XB1 is collecting dust because I'd much rather play these games on the switch due to the ability to go portable when needed (ie the kids are hogging the tv).
Re: Nintendo Download: 14th December (North America)
I'm def looking at One More Dungeon, Hammerwatch, and Last Blade. I'd also like to know what folks think about those games in particular.
Re: Talking Point: What Games Are You Playing This Weekend - Countdown to the Holidays
Skyrim- if I have any time at all this weekend (work, finals, ncaa football conf. champ games) and maybe Arms with the kid
Re: Review: Aces of the Luftwaffe - Squadron (Switch eShop)
Took a chance on this game and am really digging it- like the point/progression system and the graphics fit the game well- its a fun, quirky game
