Space ninja's rejoice! As announced during today's Nintendo Direct, Warframe will finally make its way to Nintendo Switch on November 20th.
The free-to-play online looter-shooter from Digital Extremes allows players to amass collections of weapon and gear to tackle PvE missions across a variety of planets while upgrading their Warframe along the way.

I love this game. Really high quality for a free to play. DE deserves all the praise for how transparent they are in their monetary practices.
I gave Warframe 4 years, 3k+ hours, and $850+. Easily one of my favourite games from this generation of consoles. But I have no desire to play the Switch version.

Good game. But not starting over - If they had Universal accounts would gladly jump. A bit much of grind time to loose it all.
Not in Japan, apparently, since this wasn't shown in the Japanese Direct... I hope I'm wrong though.

Please, please, please tell me this is like Destiny. I never jumped into this on the XB1 because I was too wrapped up in Destiny and I'm glad I didn't now. I'll gladly pay for some kindof starter pack like they offered with Paladins if this can fill my Destiny/RPG-loot shooter niche on the Switch. I never played Paladins either on the XB1 and now its one of our (me and the son's) go to games on the Switch.
@AJ81 it’s similar in concept and aesthetic to destiny but the actual gameplay feels quite a bit different. Destiny’s shooting feels better but Warframe has bad ass acrobatics.
I’ll keep an eye on this one!
@AJ81 I've played it more than Destiny 2 (played tons of Destiny 1) The gunplay is a bit different, and it feels a bit floaty. But the armor is awesome, and you have tons of content now. You sort of make a "fire team" a la destiny with online players. If you had a Sword as your heavy in Destiny - Warframe will come naturally.
It is an awesome game. Super cool it is on Switch.

Cool thanks. I played striker titan with a sword as my heavy and love thr sci fi shooters so I'll have to give this a go. Even got the warframe graphic novel to get ready. This, Starlink, and Smash are prob my anticipated fall games.
I've had this on my ps4 since launch in 2013 and have never played it lol. Think I will finally give it a shot on the switch!

@Primarina I'm burnt out, and the prospect of starting from scratch on Switch is overwhelming. Great game, but I've had my fill.
