Yeah, I love the humour and the battle system.

The M&L games are also some of the best at making use of the DS/3DS features and I can't wait to see what they come up with for the Switch! Moving away from pixel-art is also a bonus.

I'd love a M&L game on Switch. I think there's loads of potential in a Switch title.

I think it sounds like a great idea on paper. And if it's indeed from RETRO it's pretty much guaranteed to be great.

Ultimate is definitely going to become the best selling Smash ever. Might even become the best selling overall game on Switch soon.

Never really liked AC3. Would rather see Black Flag if they’re going to port older titles.

If Tropical Freeze is anything to go by I have full confidence in RETRO doing Prime 4. That’s one of the best 2D platformers ever made.

Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever played a bad game from RETRO.. I just wish they could push out titles quicker.

I’m very disappointed by the delay but also very happy that they chose to not just cancel the game completely.

That is extremely disappointing news... This probably means we'll have to wait another 2-3 years for it.

I like that they're open about it though.

A lot of people are going to be eating their hats if Nintendo manage to reach their 20M target.

And even if they don't reach 20M this FY, getting around 17-18M would still be very impressive.

I usually love DF content but I can't believe they uploaded this. It's just one glaring mistake after another.

If we'll see anything Switch related I would guess either a Wonderful 101 remake, Zelda: Skyward Sword remake or Metroid Prime: Trilogy remake.

Or another Bayonetta 3 tease.

Adding new kingdoms feel like such an obvious thing.. strange it hasn't happened yet.

I wonder if they're working on a sequel instead.

I think it's guaranteed.

It's been years since Prime 3. They're definitely going to want to let more people get into the series, as well as revitalize it a bit, before Prime 4 launches.

Thats nice. They're one of my favotite studios, I've never been disappointed by any of their titles.

If they're going to add more new characters they're obviously going to add more stages? Seems pretty logical to assume we'll get more than 103 stages at least.

My opinion is that it shouldn't be a choice for the developers if it's a service I'm paying for though. It should be a standard used in all games.

Otherwise it shouldn't be locked behind a paywall.

Sure, and I get that. But that should be Nintendo's problem, not mine. They've had over a year to get this right by getting developers on board and prepared. There's no excuse for this to be limited by now.

If I'm paying for the option to be able use cloud saves I'm expecting it to work in all games i'm playing.

I really don't understand why we can't have this in all games, especially if I'm going to have to pay for it.

I'm certain all the big popular titles will have this feature, but still.

I was hoping we'd get a Smash-themed pro controller, glad to see it's happening.

Not sure if I love the design but I'll be picking it up alongside the game for sure.

I was thinking the same thing.

The only thing this tells me is pretty much that a interface overhaul is not happening any time soon.

Neat. The best thing about this announcement is that it shows that Blizzard is interested in the system. I'd love to see ports of both Overwatch and Hearthstone at some point.

As for Diablo 3, it's a good game IMO. But the price seems very high considering it is a title from six years ago.

Kinda bad timing. Won't pick this up any time soon.

I can only speak for myself, but the Let's Go games made me excited to re-visit GO.

I guess the Let's Go games reminded people of it.

I haven't dared to believe any leaks, but this is so much more believable than anything else. I really hope it's true.

I think the mere fact that some people still consider this game a port is evidence that they have not shown enough of this game yet. I definitely think they need to push it more and show more unique features.

I'm hoping we'll get a look at the modes and that we get a new off-the-wall character that no one asked for in the vein of Wii-Fit Trainer, Pichu, Duck Hunt etc.

And if I get to dream they'll announce a new story mode.

Wasn't the Ps4 priced between 600-700 USD when it launched over there..? I remember reading similar news back then.

I hope that's an indication that it will actually launch in September. Not necessarily because I want to start paying to use the internet I'm already paying for to begin with, but I'm kind of tired of Nintendo's lackluster online attempts.

At least with it being a payed service people will have the option to vote. If it's crap, hopefully less people will pay and Nintendo will be forced to improve it in some way, which is something I'm happy about. Because there will be a LOT to improve upon.

A 7/10 on NL is good, as I said, you can look up what every point means in their system. So what you "think" a 7/10 means does not matter, it's already defined.

Also, 7/10 is only considered the average because reviewers do NOT use it as an average. Some will score higher, some will score lower. If all reviewers would start to use 7/10 as the middle-point, the average would inflate and suddenly 8/10 would be the average etc. etc.

Isn't Metacritic using NL, not the other way around?

Every site has it's own scoring system, they're not based on some kind of averages. If you want to know what a seven implies on NL you can look it up.

M&L in HD sounds awesome!

Not surprised. It's a great port and a fantastic fit for the Switch.

Hopefully this means well fetched Spyro trilogy as well.

Fair review. It's probably a 9 for me, since I have a lot of nostalgia for these titles.

It's going to be soooo nice to have these three games portable.

It'd be neat if Nintendo included these statistics on the Switch itself. I'd love to get a approximation of my own playtime in each mode.

Anyway, I would guess I have around 60/40 handheld/docked.

Wouldn't really surprise me if it's connected to the new game. It's a neat idea and something Sakurai has probably had on his mind for a long time.
