I know that.. Now. But I think it's pretty stupid to release art for the game featuring the old Link from the get-go. I thought we were getting that design. Pretty disappointed they're not going with it.

From the looks of it, the new art resembles the in-game model a lot more though.So I guess it's more fitting overall.

The old art was a lot better than that new piece they showed today.. Love the look of the game though, can't wait to play it. Looks absolutely brilliant!

All this made me think was "we're never getting Miiverse on the 3DS, are we Iwata?"..

Pretty disappointing that it's just a copy & paste of the SSBB version in HD. I would have liked some Poltergust 3000 moves etc.

That's a different issue though. Nintendo is a LOT stricter with their own 1st party software (which Atlus games would be if Nintendo bought them).

I don't care for MegaMan in general. The point I was making is that they don't listen to fans, so why bother "speaking up".

All I really want is Miiverse.

Haha, yeah.. Good luck with that Iwata. I know this is just to please investors, but I think it would be more reassuring to hear something that sounds realistic.

Like that's going to help? People spoke pretty loudly about wanting MegaMan Legends 3, but instead they canceled it and buried it.

I'll get the retail version of Pkmn Y, then I'll just buy the download version of Pkmn Z later down the line (or whatever the third version will be called).

Miiverse is getting better and better.

Well, Pikmin 3 seems to have sold great numbers none-the-less. So this doesn't seem to be affecting Nintendo much. People will just go elsewhere.

Hopefully this will increase the sales for GAME.

They should stay on handhelds IMO. They do amazing sprite work, and I'd like them to keep doing that. If they moved to WiiU, it'd most likely have to be polygons.

Not to mention that the whole franchise in on Nintendo handhelds, so they'd screw over their fanbase a little.

Well, they did start working on Dream Team right after Bowsers Inside Story. So that seems very possible.

I'd love it if he was creating a new adventure with a big world and interesting characters. I can't really see that happening though considering his latest track-record. WiiFit was a "new experience" (as well as most Wii-series of games), so that sentence doesn't give me any comfort.

I'd love it if he proved me wrong and delivered something with the same amount of brilliance as Pikmin. we'll just have to wait and see.

Wasn't his latest original titles WiiFit/WiiSports/WiiMusic & SteelDiver?

Those titles weren't exciting for me.

Doesn't feel lazy at all to me. Looks way better than I was expecting.

It probably won't be anything major. Most likely some kind of eShop title.

Shield knight..? Doesn't really go with the theme, they could have come up with something better IMO. Pitchfork Knight or something.

The crossover game is for WiiU.

I was expecting more. 700k copies aren't that much. Isn't the 3DS game alone at about 1m already?

3D World does feel like a 'hold on' title, kind of like how we're getting WWHD while waiting for the next big Zelda. Would be great news if that was the case.

I can't empathize how much I agree with this. I've played way to many shooters that feel exactly the same despite different storylines and characters.

I just find it weird that he feels this way and we still manage to get the NSMB franchise, which games are very alike to each other. I don't think I can remember a single level from NSMB2, that games was just like a DLC pack.

Cool, hopefully it's something interesting and not just random small titles that are supposed to show of the GamePad.

Nice, I hope we get to see another Galaxy/SM64/Sunshine type game during the WiiU's lifetime.

This isn't taking place in Mario's universe though. It's on Pill'ow Island.

The first game took place in the BeanBean Kingdom, and that felt very new and fresh for a Mario title. So hopefully this will be the same.
