Wasn't much interested in this before until I saw this awesome gameplay video and released two tribes is behind this. This looks awesome!

So mad I got super metriod a couple of days ago for 250 coins and I was going to buy it for wiiU for $1.50 with the snes discount they give you for already owning it on the wii. But they have super metriod for 200 coins in the wiiu section. And if I knew wonderful 101 would be an option I would had just saved my 600 coins for that smh I should had been patient.

We need more quality racing games on wiiU. Of course we have the superb mario kart 8, we also have need for speed most wanted & sonic and sega allstar racing but that's it besides a few eshop racers that are mediocre @ best. This looks to play similar to need for speed nitro which was my favorite racer on wii. This & fast racing neo are both on my radar.

I loved metroid other m and feel like that game would look awesome on the gamepad. I never played epic yarn, okami, or little kings story but I've wanted to so I would like to see those games. I hope we sonic colors, de blob, geometry wars galaxies, tatsunoko vs capcom and I really enjoyed some of EA wii games like need for speed nitro, nba jam, ssx blur & boom blox but not sure if will see them on wiiu considering the current relationship with them.

Maybe punchout. Midnight looks like a mix of nightsky & ping 1.5+ probably wait on a review for that 1 will also keep my eye on breezeblox if its as amazing as edge. And nintendolife didn't mention it but the throwback sale is continuing this week with different discounts so waiting to see what's goes onsale

The 1st gunman clive was my 1st 3sd eshop game. So it will be awesome to have the sequel as my 1st 3ds eshop game of 2015.

I may grab super metroid. I know with wii nes virtual console games if u own them on wii u can redownload them on wiiU for $1 I'm hoping its the same discount for snes games.

@umegames and those are just the games we know about. I'm sure will get some more surprise directs & reveals @ E3. But I love my wiiU and I havent even scratched the surface yet. My only retail games are smash wiiu & windwaker. I've been living in the eshop supporting these awesome indie developers that has stepped up with the lack of major 3rd party games. In the past 2months I brought shovel knight, steam world dig, stick it to the man, toki tori, edge, rush, nano assault, art of balance, x type+, abyss, armillo, paper monsters recut, puddle, kung fu rabbit, duck tales remastered, 99 moves, ping 1.5+, and just got teslagrad & chasing Aurora apart of the indie promotion. And theres still a bunch more I have in my wish list. And that list don't even include retail titles like Mario kart 8, wonderful 101, hyrule warriors, super Mario 3ds world etc. I'm exhausted, wiiU have really revitalize my love for gaming.

I definitely think nintendo should do an update for gamepad controls if the game wasn't heavy on motion controls. The 1st two prime games were on gamecube so they could revert back to dual analog for the trilogy. Also in mario galaxy you only waggled the controller to do the spin move that could be assigned to a button or even just shaking the gamepad itself it does have motion control on the pad.

I'm getting them all for $10 each. Since these games basically load as wiiu games does that mean they will display in hd?

Just brought 1card. Paying $9 for $10 is a solid deal. I hope we get the same sales as the UK because I will most definitely be getting teslagrad & chasing aurora this week.

I hope teslagrad is on sale in the north America update wanted that game since day 1. May get chasing Aurora & I already have runner 2 on my ps3 but for that price I may double dip to be able to play that on my gamepad with some headphones

This update may persuade me to pick this up but I don't have a Wii u pro controller can this game control with a Wii classic controller pro?

@xenohorizon I really appreciate your honesty and hope you guys can learn from your mistakes and ultimately make better games for us so its more profit for you. And I do almost always trust nintendo life's reviews I've been using this site since it was Wiiware world to keep an eye on the nintendo indie scene. I've really been supporting the eshop big time because there are quite a few gems and some at awesome budget prices. I'll keep my eye on any future games from xenohorizon and hope you guys become the type of develops that can make gems standout in a trash heap.

If the changes are drastic enough you guys should update your old review and if the overall score is better I may consider it.

Great list of games and definitely will keep a look out on them. I just got my Wii u around September last year and smash bros & wind waker are the only retail games I've purchased. I've really been invested on the indie scene on Wii u especially with the awesome eshop sales that we just had. Armillo, steamworld dig, shovel knight, duck tales, paper monsters recut, toki tori, edge, rush, x type +, ping 1.5+, nano assault, art of balance, and stick it to the man so imma be pretty busy for awhile. Probably hit up the back catalog of a few Wii u games as they drop in price, keep my eye on some new Indies and maybe just make a 1 or 2 big purchases this year, I'm thinking splatoon and maybe Mario maker. Hope we get metroid this year on either Wii u or 3ds

Nintendo need to get crossplay for games like shovel knight I really could decide between the 3ds version or Wii U. I ultimately decided on Wii U. Used my $5 from the ddp so ultimately only paid $5 & some change for shovel knight.

Grab some great deals the past 2weeks. Ping 1.5+, nano assault, steamworld dig, rush, toki tori & stick it to the man. Have a lot of indie titles to hold me over for a bit. Still considering art of balance I wish the sale was a little cheaper. And not quite sure what I'm going to get with my $5 promotion points maybe cosmophony or on the 3sd there's liberation maiden, chain blaster or attack of the Friday monsters. So much to choose from.

This was an unexpected surprise to say the least. I use crunchy roll on my ps3, but my 32in flat screen that I have had for a good while now went out so I don't play any of my games or watch anything in my room to often because my temporary replacement tv is embarrassingly small and it would be near impossible to read the English subtitles. So being able to watch some anime on the gamepad for the time being is awesome.

I really wish they keep this offer, I've purchased more digital games because of it. I actually brought a digital copy of smash Wii U just so I could get something extra off the eshop. Hopefully we get some more good eshop sales tomorrow only 136pts away from a $5 code.

Think I'll grab megaman 7, steamworld dig (just not sure if I should grab it for wii u or 3ds) ping 1.5 plus is a game ive had my eye on and for $2 the price is right. And I would grab both art of balance & nano assault if these were a little cheaper I'll get 1 or the other.

I don't find little mac to be difficult to beat maybe its just me. I have a friend that main him and played plenty of online and I win 90% of the time with almost any character I use. His attacks are fast & powerful but still avoidable. His air game is what kills him, its easy to get little mac off the stage around 60 to 70 percent so if you can just endure his onslaught he shouldn't be a problem. I actually find rosalina mains to be more of an issue.

While I do wish nintendo would get more major 3rd party support i kinda don't mind too much having 1st party nintendo games and a slew of top notch indie games I'm completely satified there so many indie games already out I still been meaning to grab. Grabbing a handfull of great indie games for $60 just sounds more attractive then buying some of these 3rd title that probably watered down compared to other consoles and expect to pay the same price.

Alpha sapphire and starting my journey with treecko. Think ill keep the rockstar for my cosplay pikachu his looks awesome but the lucha with flying press is so tempting.

Loved both de blobs for different reasons I think I like the 1st one a little more for its laid back feel to it. Didn't finish the 2nd 1 but I loved the hilarious cut scenes and the story was much deeper. Looking forward to a sequel or wouldn't even mind a remake with hd up grade and sum gamepad support.

This in someways reminds me of the first bit trip games on wiiware. Besides runner most of the bit trip games only had 3 stages and they were punishing experiences to say the least but enjoyable as well especially if you were able to actually beat a stage you certainly felt a strong sense of accomplishment. That's what I'm expecting from this game so imma give a go even if its a chance I'll never beat it for only $4 I've certainly have put out more for games that I still remain stuck on.

Nintendo should really put a section on the eshop for all the critically acclaimed indirect games. Because there's are actually a few good quality budget games and they deserve their spot like instead of being loss in the shuffle with crap like this.

I'll definitely keep this on my radar. I didn't care for the 1st person view in speed so that alone makes this game somewhat interesting to me. The music sorta reminds me of de blob and I like the art style too. If this release @ a budget price like speed then I'm all over this.

8 player smash officially sold this game for me. I mean I was going to get this no matter what but I was gonna hold off getting this day1 perhaps wait to December since this and pkmn ORAS comes out the same day. I'd figure smash 3ds can hold me over, but my goodness 8 players @ once. If they confirm 4 on 4 team battle I will cry tears of joy lol

Smart that Nintendo didn't release any wiiU eshop games like stealth 2 since both bayonetta games & just dance came out to give attention to these releases. So next week you can just fill the gap with download releases

And my eshop want list grows more. With this being on the cheap side may get this sooner than later. I wouldn't say it would make X & Y obsolete. For 1 we have to trade diancie over from X & Y if we want mega diancie so trading still seem to be possible. You'll prolly just won't be able to trade a pokemon from ORAS if its holding an unfamiliar mega stone. But we don't know all the pokemon that's available to be caught so we can trade pokemon from X & Y to ORAS such as gen 6 pokemon.

Swapper & stealth 2 for me. Maybe thomas was alone @ a discount I heard it was pretty easy and not that long so I wouldn't pay more for that than I would for edge.

Already have a trainer club account, have no idea when or why I created it perhaps it had something to do with me having pokemon X. I don't see an issue with free extra content. Either download it or don't. I actually never got in to the monster hunter franchise so see samus & mega man has caught my attention. Giving me characters I'm familiar with in a unfamiliar franchise would definitely be a good starting point in drawing my interest and perhaps make me want to buy past & future games.

I fully expect the original 12 to be on the game (no matter how much I dislike jigglypuff) I also expect characters to be swapped out, like how young link went to toon link &roy to marth. I think pokemon trainer
should return with different starter pokemon should also add a female pokemon trainer too. I think clone characters should either be download content, or pick them the same way you pick zero suit samus, hold a button before the game start and it changes to that character. Or make a clone a costume change and the moveset is just altered

Cant wait 4 this to come out, the first episode was great. I'm almost certain this will b out for wiiware, this is all suppose 2b 1 game, so it would make more sense to release all the episodes on the same platform. I guess I need 2 hurry and finish sonic colors then play episode 1 over again before this comes out.

I was never a big FPS fan, but when I first played metriod prime 3 (i consider it a fps i'm in 1st person and i'm shooting @ stuff) i fell in love with the control scheme, it felt so fluid. And from there I started to get into the genre a bit with games like the conduit, red steel 2, and golden eye And i would have friends that so stuck on xbox when they try to play with the motion controls, they act like their to lazy to hold the remote right and complain all the time, if they owned the wii and actually took time to get use to the controls, rather then try to just jump in thinking the controls are gonna b instantly perfect, the realize that motion kills duel analog.

I only have a wii so complete sounds like the complete package to me. online leaderboards for all your hardwork, easy difficultly if u can't hack it, hard difficulty if your just crazy, and a set of bonus challenges to keep you busy. But still having these games in 3D would be cool and be more accessible, I remember showing a friend bit trip runner, once I gave him the controller he didn't want to put it down, so it be nice to show this game off to more ppl in a portable fashion, I also would love to plug in some headphones to the bit trip tracks, that's pure awesomeness in my ear.

It wouldn't make sense for this to be released on the wiiU simply because this is meant to be 1 game, to break the game across multiple platforms would be a bad move. I feel as though wii only owners deserve to get this 1st, mainly because were not getting generations, even though they could had easily made that for wii with sonic colors engine. how many episodes do they plan on making it's gonna be a year and a half between the 1st and second how long to they plan on making us wait for a third i'm sure ppl are beginning to lose interest.

well since i like to trade games in @ gamestop I haven't been able to have a large collection of games @ 1 time. I currently have around 16-17 retail games. and over 30 wiiware/virtual console. But if I never traded in any games I would have close to 80games including downloads. I don't have any ds games now or a working ds for that matter but if I had to guess I probably had somewhere between 20-30 games never had a dsi so no dsiware, but i do plan on getting a 3ds when the price drop

I like the red & black & the light blue ones with world 1-1, don't really care for the other ones with all the marios on them. just looked on ebay and these bad boys are going over $300, only time I'll ever consider paying that much for mario is if it comes with a game system.
