Curve Studios has a strong history of working on Nintendo hardware, perhaps most notably with Nintendo-published titles Hydroventure / Fluidity on WiiWare and Hydroventure / Fluidity: Spin Cycle on the 3DS eShop. The development studio's work goes way beyond those two games, of course, and it's been responsible for a range of other original games and ports across multiple platforms.
Its support for Wii U is about to kick into gear, meanwhile, and the studio's outlined an upcoming month in which four of its anticipated projects, including a system exclusive, will land on the system. Curve tweeted the following release dates, which are worldwide.
- Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut — 16th October
- Stealth Inc 2 — 30th October
- The Swapper — 6th November
- Thomas Was Alone — Late November
These are all promising releases, with Stealth Inc 2 — of course — being the Wii U eShop exclusive. Are you excited about these titles, and is there one in particular that you're keen to play on Wii U? Let us know in the comments below.

So they pushed Stealth 2 one week? Getting that and Thomas.
Stealth Inc and Thomas Was Alone have my name on them
Getting all 4. Lone Survivor and The Swapper are no brainers for me. Love that line "release dates, which are worldwide". Really happy they're coming to Australia.
@sinalefa Noticed that as well, honestly its for the best as it was going to be overshadowed by Bayonetta 2.
I already own Swapper and Lone Survivor elsewhere (awesome games) so i'll only be getting Stealth 2.
Support Curve guys and gals, these guys are an indie dev worthy of your money.
Swapper & stealth 2 for me. Maybe thomas was alone @ a discount I heard it was pretty easy and not that long so I wouldn't pay more for that than I would for edge.
Whoah, I'm liking these guys. I didn't know they made The Swapper. How is Lone Survivor? The Swapper and Stealth Inc 2 for me for sure but I hope they bring Stealth Inc (1) too! I heard Thomas was Alone is good but I'm not liking the art style/visuals although it has interesting gameplay.
Edit:
Okay they didn't made The Swapper, FacePalm Games did. Curve Studios only handles the port. But still they are awesome to me.
Remember, Curve studios only made Stealth Inc. 2. The rest are ports.
Good games right there. Thank you Curve.
Wow, every game on that list will be mine. I might just drop my white Xbox One bundle so I can save that cash and get one later.
@Maelstrom Does it matter? Even if they're ports they are going to be damn good ones.
Great, more games, more Awsome looking games. Honestly, I am interested in all of them. Well, Thomas Was Alone does interested as much as the others.
Lone Survivor?
No thanks.
Stealth 2?
From what I played of the first Stealth, no thanks.
Thomas Was Alone?
They need to show ALOT more before I decide, so maybe.
The Swapper?
Yes.
This must be the Wii U launch part two. All I ever see are ports.
Trine. New n' Tasty. Watch Dogs. Three of these games. Tengami.
Oh and look, Project Cars still doesn't have any new Wii U news.
Shame. Wasn't gonna buy a driving game for full retail anyways, but shame anyways.
I'd rather play Thomas was Alone on my phone. Mostly because it has the DLC.
Plan on getting all of them at some point, but I've been salivating for Stealth Inc. 2 for a long time now, even moreso than most retail releases.
The first one I'll get is probably Stealth Inc 2. The rest should follow suit at some point.
Gotta say, this truly has been a fantastic year for the e-Shop. Shovel Knight, Guacamelee, Teslagrad, Child of Light, Costume Quest 2 right around the corner. Do keep it up, developers.
Having played Stealth Inc and The Swapper on PS4 and Thomas Was Alone on PS-Vita, I can attest that you WiiU sticklers have some really good games to look forward to from Curve Studios.
I haven't heard of or played the forth game mentioned before (Lone Survivor) but their track record is really strong based on my experience with their other 3 games I have played.
Lone Survivor is amazing!
get lone survivor, it is a very addicting game that you always want to save for all times during the game
All great titles, but...not gonna pay 10 to 15 Euros for games that have been out on the PC since about 2 years and cost 5 Euros or less on Steam/GoG and especially Humble Bundle.
Could see myself getting them all depending on price point
Release dates? Excellent news!
I already have Lone Survivor, Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark, The Swapper, and Thomas Was Alone on my Vita – BUT, if curve are supporting my beloved Wii U, then I'M supporting THEM!
With that in mind, I'll be grabbing all four of Curve's eShop titles, starting with Lone Survivor today! And I can't wait.
Keep up the great work guys
Simon Potticary
I'm really curious to see how the Gamepad integration in Stealth Inc 2 has been made. Lots of potential there!
Cant wait for Stealth INC 2
Fantastic games, glad the WiiU is getting them. Stealth 2 for sure, and possibly The Swapper, for me.
Getting Stealth Inc 2 day one. That Lone Survivor looks interesting as well.
Very excited about all of these, I think I will buy them all at some point pending reviews. On that note @ThomasBW84 - any idea when you guys will have the Lone Survivor review up? I'd like to read it before getting the game.
@luke88 I believe someone's already on the case, but I don't want to promise a timeline on their behalf. Hopefully relatively soon though, and as soon as it's finished it'll go right up.
These are all good games. It's a shame they took so long to get to the Wii U though (except Stealth 2 which is new) as they've already given Lone Survivor and TWA away for free on PS+.
I didn't like the first Stealth Inc that much but I'd like to support Curve's Wii U efforts so I'll give it a look. The Swapper is supposed to be very good and I skipped it on PS, so that could be a buy too.
This is nice to see, but unfortunately, I have all of these already on the Vita, except for The Swapper.
Stealth Inc 2 and Bayonetta 2, two awesome sequels exclusive to Nintendo that I'll be picking up soon
I wish developers had announced games coming to WiiU like this earlier, as I already own most of these on PC and would have totally waited! But I refuse to double-dip as I feel there should be more cross-buy options in general (esp WiiU and 3DS)
Stealth Inc 2 is a day 1 purchase, Lone Survivor & The Swapper are maybes for now... Thomas is a no-go, hate the gfx.
