@Automated_Unit_4937 sure, why? do indies strictly have to come as a key card? i have many indies on cart and digital as well. most digital ines are rather small and dont hog my entire micro sd tho…
Switch 1 it is for me then. Enhancements to this 2D+ style will be minor anyways. Actually I am pondering, why I actually bought a Switch 2, if this is the way games will be released. I will never buy a key card ever.
Was a huge fan of BotW, and now over 100hours in TotK, about to enter the 4th dungeon. The longer I play TotK the more boring it feels. The game would be okay if it would have been released 2 years after TotK, but 6 years after and only a BotW 1.5 feels hugely disappointing. I redo a LOT of stuff I have already done in BotW, armor is mostly the same, the world is mostly the same. Building and fusing is fun, but only a minor improvement IMO. I will not buy another iteration of the same Zelda game, based on yet the same map, same characters, artstyle and assets… For me personally a major disappointment 6 years after BotW….
@Kalmaro Coming from Supergiant this was an instant buy for me. I loved their previous games (Bastion & Transistor) and Hades does not disappoint – it is instantly recognizable as a Supergiant game.
Personally, I prefer the linear levels, sense of progress and storytelling in Bastion & Transistor to the Repeat Loop of Hades. Hades is easy to pick up and play for 30 – 60 minutes (or less). In longer session it seems to get a bit repetitive to me.
interesting, since quite a few reviews on metacritic are not quite so positive about this port... i will not buy this, especially since it is not physical...
i will most likely get this, although after the last few months i will not get day one purchases for switch ever again (looking at you, bloodstained and mutant year zero).
national retailer lists this as a physical release, so i was a bit irritated about the e-shop logo at the end of the trailer...
I will NEVER EVER take part in crowdfunding again – been burned twice and looking at the switch version, this would have been another burn.
Taking your funding from people while leaving them with all the risk of losing their money, never getting a product or an inferior product is just not an acceptable way of doing business for me…
@AJWolfTill Some of it is nice, some of it feels unnecessary. Here my personal opinion: – A United Front with Squad 7: Are early-game missions, if you already progressed well into the main game, these will be a piece of cake. New crew members are nice, especially if you played the first game. – Edy's Advance Ops: I think same as above – The Two Valkyria: Did not like these missions. You get to play as the valkyrias though… – Expert Level Skirmishes: just harder skirmishes, does not add any story – A Captainless Squad: This i can recommend – Squad E, to the Beach!: This is also a pretty fun addition. Also: unlockable swimsuit costumes : P
Well, already bought physical and all DLC last year. Finished it, although I have to unlock a few squad stories. For me this is one of the top third party games on switch! Still have to finish the first one. Would be excited to see Valkyria 2 and 3 being released on the Switch!
This will go on my wishlist and sit there until 50% sale, for nostalgic reasons... or maybe they release a physical collection later, testing the waters now?
This is WAAAAYY too expensive. Since I have the Snes Mini as well as the GB cartridge and the third game gets a remake, I will sit this one out. 50% sale, them I‘ ll get it. Otherwise I‘ll wait for the remake, thanks!
Hm, I have all the castlevania titles on the nes/snes mini as well as the gameboy games. however, i am really excited to see how emulated GB classic games would look like on the switch. this is a huge missed opportunity for nintendo imo...
Maybe the biggest disappointment in my game library. Do not know the previous games, but this one is at best mediocre in every aspect. Just plain boring. Would not buy again and thinking about reselling my copy…
just had a look at the european (swiss) eshop and there is no mentioning of the Arwing or Fox being included. The digital packshot does not show fox's head – is he and the Arwing really included in the digital starter pack?
loved the look of this game from the first glimpse. never had a wii u, so i already preordered this uber-cute game. don't even care if it is too easy. love the mini-diorama feeling and the touchscreen interactions!
had this preordered but cancelled after it got pushed back. now i‘ll get donkey kong and hyrule warriors. been reading a lot of negative reviews concerning the grind, so i‘ll wait for more switch reviews. if enough other games and dlc gets released i might not get it in the end though...
there goes my life. sank an unbelievable amoubt of time into monster hunter freedom unite. not sure whether i wanna get this, because it will eat up lots of my spare time. i will wait for reviews, no day one for me...
thx for your inputs, will give HW a try then. basically fate just felt empty and boring (gameplay, characters, ui, story). the fact that i like zelda might help
i am considering on getting this (didnt play it before). however, i played fate/extella on switch and was greatly underwhelmed. i get that fate and hyrule warriors both belong to the same genre, maybe someone who played them both could tell me whether hyrule is largely the same or way better than extella…?
this game is so addictive! i struggled at first, but after week 20 or so, i got the hang of it! also there's plenty of online ressources for help. the handheld touch-interface is superb. i only regret that i didn't buy the radiant edition : /
if the reviews are halfway decent, i'll get this then. will fill the strategy gap left after disgea 5 and mario&rabbids. i recently read the whole gundam origins manga – highly recommend it!
i really want a gundam game on the switch (that i can understand, i.e. english). this one looks fun, or even one of the musou-gundams… at leat engrish subs… please!
played this on the iphone. really loved the game, but since it is really time-intensive and getting the right badges is a bit grindy i dont want to play it again – will pass. if you haven't played it however, i encourage you to give it a try!
@WhistleFish thought the 2nd one was with the other witch, must have been the first one then. was like 8 years ago – thanks for pointing out my mistake though!
played them both on xbox upon inital release. can't remember much except that at the time i thought of them as very good devil may cry-clones. really loved the interpretation of «fly me to the moon» of the first game. instabuy!
played this on steam – is a really nice little game! you can unlock different killers and different killing styles. the episodes in the menu are displayed as vhs casettes. you can even rewind (glitchy vhs effects included) every step you take. lots of love in this little game, also it gets really tough in the later levels. will repurchase this on switch, if the price is right…
tbh i would gladly pay for an additional dlc, should nintendo ever decide to release it. really love this game, since it is a real challenge to master. every gamer with a switch and a soft spot for fighting games should own this!
i like coyle very much! the previously added characters were kind of a mixed bag: lola is quite nice, while misango looks like an early concept – imo he does not fit into the rest of the arms design at all. my regulars now include twintelle, lola, kid cobra and coyle.

Shame. No game on cart, no purchase.
Re: Octopath Traveler 0 Has Been Rated For Switch And Switch 2
Great, I will have to get a proper physical Switch 1 cart, to play on my shiny Switch 2. Makes sense – NOT.

It is back up for purchase now!

Can't wait for it to being available again! Hopefully most of the Cave games will follow! Maybe even a physical collection…?
Re: Nintendo Announces 'Digital Deals' Sale, Up To 75% Off (Europe)
I hope for Doom Eternal
Re: Doom Eternal For Switch Will No Longer Receive A Physical Release
After waiting for half a year, I can then wait another year until this is on 50% sale. Until then Hard Pass.
