@PlayedNSlayed
i can only speak for the swiss estore, but yes.
if you read the detailed description of the RSR2 estore page, they mention, you will get a discount to RSR1 if you purchase RSR2.
so i bought 2 first and the download wasn't even completed, entered the eshop and went to the RSR1 page and the price changed from CHF 19.90 to CHF 15.00.

my first two big digital switch games. would have loved to play in the morning, but hopefully the downloads will be finished when i return in the evening -_-

on the positive side, if you purchase RSR 2 first, you get a 20% discount on RSR1.

after the review i am tempted to play 2 first…

Re: Review: DOOM (Switch)

controls are a bit unprecise. i think i would be way better at this game with mouse & keyboard…
my advice for portable gaming is to turn off chroma aberration and set the motion blur to low or off. makes everything look sharper.

this game rocks! now i really want a switch keyboard
if only the text were bigger and sharper, have a hard time deciphering it…

Re: Splatoon 2 Update 1.4.1 Is Now Live, And Here's What's Changed

@Ralek85 no, i did not own a nintendo console since the original gameboy – i was playing a lot of FPS on the pc though. so, voice or even text chat is key for coordinated team work – as in battlefield 2 or teamfortress for instance (yeah, i'm that old). in splatoon i just enter matches with random people, which is fine, but it would be more engaging to have built in friendlists & voicechat – hell, i would even join a clan! but as of now, this is too tedious for me.

personally, splatoon 2 is perfect for pickup & play and very addictive. a very nicely designed experience. the campaign imo falls short, but is a nice effort for completionists.

since the switch is my one and only game machine now (except the snes mini), i will have to wait for overwatch to get ported – seems to be a big thing.

Re: Review: Fire Emblem Warriors (Switch)

quick question: is FE Warriors really that much better than fate/extella? i haven't really played musou before and neither FE games, but was sorely disappointed by fate/extella – to me, it is just plain boredom. so should i give FEW a chance?

Re: DLC Review: Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle - Ultra Challenge Pack

slaine

personally, i played the game one chapter at a time – after finishing one chapter i went back and got the gold trophies and secret areas. this is easier the second time around, since your characters get upgrades after defeating a chapter boss. the money I then invested in the best available weapons.

doing chalenges and finding treasure boxes also helps in building out your skill trees and finding coin.

i only got stuck on some challenges, which i had to google. I hate the challenges wehre you have to reach several areas on the map and stand in the exact right spot in order to have an enemy or tornado bounce you into the target area.
