Crossing my fingers the final pack of Season 3 is Dragon Quest music, but I'm expecting it not to be. 3DS had an entire DQ themed theaterhythm game that was never localized so the work is there.

The only time this ever happened to me was when I got the big RE2 Remake collectors edition on PS4

Received everything except the disk itself was missing from the case.

Took Capcom like another 3 weeks to get me that disk.

it feels like a no brainer to put an online Four Swords out on NSO, but maybe that's just me.

The Japanese version of the game, Hajimari no Kiseki, was #1 on the chart when it released on 8/27/20 with 83,680 units.

Nintendo purposely delayed the release by a few months just so Jeff Grubb would have to cut his hair.

Those were published outside of Japan by XSEED before NIS took over publishing duties so it's unlikely.

5 is definitely the best of the 2D Dragon Quests. Whether it's better than 8 or 11 is up to personal taste.

Played the Super Famicom fan translation, the DS version and then finally a few years ago I finally played through the PS2 remake as well.

Both the first and second game I played the weekend they came out then never really touched them ever again so I think I'm okay just waiting this time.

I enjoy the lore of the series a lot more than actually playing them I guess.

@Mioaionios You can aggro him from the lower areas that you have access to in chapter 2. I don't think you see him flying around that early in the game, but he's definitely there before you actually have access to that area in chapter 6.

Just finished up my 100% playthrough at 188 hours.

X/Y was when I began losing interest as I thought the move to 3DS the games started having more and more story and slower and slower battles and just felt like a chore to play through. It didn't help that Mega Evolutions and everything they've done since then like Z-Moves and Gigantamax were all gimmicks that weren't fun at all. This Terastal mechanic doesn't seem any better.

Sun/Moon was really what did it in for me though that was just painful to play through. Still haven't finished Sword/Shield or even started Arceus so who knows if I'll ever be caught up again.

I went 0/2 on getting one even though I was there right when they went live.

Glad they're limiting it to only one per customer now. Between that and having the waiting line ready to go as soon as it goes up I'm hopeful I can get one this time.

When it comes to Jeff Grubb you have to listen to what he's saying to know when he's gotten info from a legitimate source (which is usually correct) or when he's just conjecturing based on the info he has (which is more hit or miss)

This is sounding it came from a direct source so I'm more inclined to believe it. Plus he's been talking about this Metroid Prime remaster not just recently, but for over a year now.

If console ports of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters doesn't happen here I might give up on them.

I love Jeff Grubb and while he's very good at reporting and leaking news on western studios, when it comes to Japanese companies he's usually just making educated guesses since he doesn't really have inside sources there and people take it as a legit rumors based on his western reporting.

To answer the article though in relation to Dragon Quest the answer is Dragon Quest V. It plays exactly like all the older ones so you shouldn't have a problem transitioning to them if you want to play them, but is also the best of all those.

I refuse to start any series unless I can start from the beginning. Seeing the evolution of the gameplay throughout the years is the thing I care about most.

20 years later Chrono Cross is still as polarizing as it was back then, except now the reviews also reflect that.

I would be disappointed if the title had the words Breath or Wild in it.

If you want to really turn some heads add 64DD support and release F-Zero Expansion Kit, SimCity 64, Mario Artist and Doshin the Giant.

@PtM Check out some old reviews because it is a 10 year old game at this point. The fighting wasn't great, but as a representation of JoJo and its characters it was great. Sounds like they're improving the gameplay in this version though so fingers crossed.
