@Angelic_Lapras_King They werent taken offline by hackers. Nintendo took them offline because they had a bug that could be exploited by hackers that they took ages to fix because they dont care.
@Yomogi I can say personally that no matter how many N64 games they add, it would not be worth it for me. I think most N64 games have aged poorly and its one of the weakest Nintendo libraries outside of like Mario, Zelda, BK, and Goldeneye (which will never happen).
@Aurumonado It is because people are extremely stupid. They think pay 2 win means that you cannot win unless you pay, or that you will automatically win if you pay. There are almost no games that fall into these categories.
Pay 2 win usually refers to games where paying gives you some advantage, which is very obviously the case in Unite.
@BlackenedHalo Nobody is saying ignore the similarities. But if I have to read another review to know information about the game, that is a failure. The game has things that are different from BotW, but they aren't outlined here.
For example, this game has a very different combat system with a large emphasis on combat. Yet it isn't talked about at all here, and it isnt similar to BotW.
I'm very disappointed by Nintendo Life's review for this game. A game shouldn't be penalized for playing like Breath of the Wild. The fact that is listed as a con does not make much sense at all, especially when another part of the review suggests that an aspect should be even more like BotW (and personally, that feature looks like a very good QoL feature).
The review itself is so focused on comparing the game to Breath of the Wild that it completely takes away from the review. If I didn't read other reviews of the game, I'd have no idea of any of the aspects different from BotW (of which there are a significant amount). The only one really discussed here is the story.
"Of course Immortals Fenyx Rising could never be as good as something with the resources of a Zelda game" just demonstrates the bias against this game right up front honestly.
@Ryu_Niiyama I didn't believe this in the first place, but it is obvious people are mad because it was an "April Fools" "joke" done in March. Of course people are going to be pissed.
@LewisWhite I think this review could have used a better description of the fighting and why it is so bad. The amount I know about this game before and after I read this is not that different.
Like you said it is 3 buttons, but are there like combos or something or is it just mashing?
@Kalmaro Ehh have you seen Kill La Kill? The game is just emulating the show, where the fan service is actually done in jest. But it is probably hard to understand this if you haven't seen it.
@Baart Everyone in the Xbox community has always referred to him as Major Nelson. That is his alias that he is recognized by. Same deal as ske7ch. Don't comment on things if you aren't educated about them yourself.
@StarmanSSP I actually found it very difficult to find the spot to disable auto renew during my trial and even then I wasn't sure if it was truly disabled or not.
@Gauchorino Link's Awakening DX is nearly the same as the original, what big revisions were there? A new dungeons, camera stuff, some slight difficulty tweaks, and bug fixes. None of those are big enough to be pedantic about them.
@datamonkey I always thought the DS4 felt quite cheap and poor. It isn't very ergonomic either. The Xbox One controller is much nicer, neck and neck with the Switch Pro. I do like analog triggers better though.
@Jeronan um not sure what you are saying. ESO online has worse graphics on PS4 and lower framerates. You can still enjoy but it's technically a slightly inferior experience. Same with the Xbox 360 version of Skyrim. There is no way you can say the 360 version was better than the PC version. It has such atrociously long loading times, muddy textures and no mod support. The PC version can be played with a controller and even on a TV if you really wanted to.
@KIREEK Bethesda will not do this. They are primarily a PC developer and usually the console ports of their games are inferior with worse graphics and optimization. They develop for PC.
I would love some ports from Bethesda to Nonyendo hardware, but don't expect a special treatment, expect a slightly inferior package to their PC offering just like PS4 and Xbox One have been getting, or worse if NX is much weaker than them
But seriously I love this game so much idk how many times I'm gonna have to buy it. I have the app port on my phone, VC on my Wii U, and remake on my Vita. Why do I have to pay again Nintendo?
@plug313 get it on PC. Pretty much any computer can run it. It's also available on android and IOS if that's more your thing but I think it would be better on PC.
Seriously tho the system requirements are veeeerry very low for that game. Like almost any computer can run it
@Meowpheel right I was just thinking this. In Italy games aren't translated in Sicilian and normal Italian, they are all done in the officially correct Italian even though some words are quite different. In the US games aren't translated to use Southern slang and traditions in the south. I really fail to see the issue here. Translating for every local dialect is extremely inefficient and, to my knowledge, isn't done anywhere else in the world except apparently Nintendo China.
@Iggly sonic Twitter even had some fun with Blizzard the other day and posted a meme of Overwatch. They are great recently.
Anyway I don't see what's is so offensive about this trailer anyway. I mean it's not a good trailer but I'm not offended by it at all. The anime joke was all in good fun and it was not offensive to me in the slightest.
The most offensive thing in this trailer were those explosions shudders
@BulkSlash I think you are right. While some of the levels did have mini mushrooms in required places the only way to get them in reserve was to get them from the mushroom houses with the roulette block
@Captain_Gonru I hope so because I played this on Steam a while back. I never got very far into it but either these bugs are incredibly rare on only in the Wii U version (this is more likely) because I never encountered any of them. I agree with @shani that this game should have at least got a 7 as there is nothing bad about it, it just wasn't my cup of tea as I don't like platformers based on swimming and being underwater. We can't always trust the review scores .
@randomlypikachu It's a 2D platformer that uses 3d models. The concept art was 2d sprite looking and that would have been a nice art direction but they had a little disclaimer at the bottom saying the final game would use 3d models
I hate the art style. Actually it's basically just no art style, really boring. The backgrounds also don't look to good. I was really excited for this game but I don't know now. Might still buy it. Also where did inafune get the money for a boxed copy distribution?
He said it would come out in April and couldn't foresee it getting delayed. He said it was done. The fact that a finished game didn't come out digitally because he wants to make more money in boxed versions at release annoys me.
@Datasun_7 Because the servers will be the most crowded at launch. The reviewers have empty servers right now and can barely find games with their review copies so obviously it will be flawless for them while they are in game. It's just my opinion that I want a 4/4 experience, not it worked 3/4 times. I know it was just a test, that's why (and I guess you ignored this part) IM STILL BUYING AND EXCITED FOR THIS GAME. I just see why some are upset.
I don't agree with people defending Nintendo on this. I love Nintendo but this was a problematic experience for them. I'm betting that the second hour only worked because plenty of people like me didn't know about it so it was less crowded. I had a great time on the previous test fire but not this one as I had major connection issues. My Wii U crashed, TWICE. I can defiantly see how this can cause some people not to want to buy, especially if they already weren't crazy about it. I also think that it's veeeery likely that there will be connection issues on the 29th. I will still buy it but maybe I should wait a few days after launch until it calms down or I will just primarily play single player for a while.
People on here don't seem to fully understand Kickstarter. The stretch goals are not promises, they are goals the developers will try to reach with more funds. The game will be released. There will be no refund for people who wanted to play it on the canceled platforms because that is how Kickstarter works. Kickstarter will not put regulations forcing companies who can't reach their goals to refund backers because backers are a supposed to know and understand that they are basically gambling in hopes of the project being released. What these developers is perfectly acceptable and people should not be angry at the developers because they didn't do anything wrong, they simply used Kickstarted and apparently people don't understand it.
@Operative I wasn't that impressed by it either. In fact, I got bored of it pretty quickly. I will probably still buy it though but I definitely think it's being over praised, it wasn't THAT great.
We need a Nintendo Direct but it sadly doesn't seem likely as Nintendo probably figures they've released enough news this month. We might have to wait until April.
Spoiler Alert! Wow! Lots of spoilers in that trailer.
Spoilers: Anyway, hoped they fixed the voice clips (mid-battle) for the faced mechon in this version. I could never understand what they were saying on the wii.
