Anyone who complains about jiggle physics need to set their prioritities straight. They clearly have never seen a woman walk or move around in sudden motion, it happens in real life so why complain about it happening in video games? So stupid.
@Itachi2099 You either need to get your eyes fixed or get better internet. YouTube itself was probably the problem. The video they showed was perfectly fine on my end.
N64 mini will be announced with less than 15 games, and people will complain. Saying things like "PS1 mini has more games". Here's the thing. Quality over quantity any day. It's why I got a SNES mini over the NES mini.
Oh man, the salty tears of Sony fanboys, delicious. Witness their arrival on here claiming "fanboy trash article" and some other worthless attempt to undermine the facts. Don't bother replying to me, since I don't care about your opinion.
I'd imagine Sony is lower on the list due to their network being hacked multiple times. Customers don't like it when their personal information is obtained illegally and told about the fact days later.
I wish I had more time to play this, but college is a great burden on my time. Luckily, I can play on my long bus rides, but recently I had to drive to school to avoid being stranded due to a bad schedule for the shuttle system at my apartment complex. Sucks being an adult.
You have to be really cheap in order to think that $20 a year is expensive or not worth investing into. It comes down to $1.67 a month. That's cheaper than Crunchyroll, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu and other streaming services... If you pay a monthly subscription to any of these(which I do, Crunchyroll and Amazon Prime), then you have no problem increasing the bill by $1.67 a month... Except the difference is that you're saving up for next year's subscription.
Cancer sucks, hopefully we find an effective treatment soon. Oh wait, with the FDA and other regulations, that won't happen any time soon. Top it off with billions of dollars in the cost of developing new drugs, and we progress very slowly towards a cure. Thanks a lot human rights activists... Drug development pre-regulation was exponential, and now it pretty much slowed down to a halt.
Without even looking at the comments, I can already tell there's salty children in here whining about how they won't be able to play if they somehow lose internet for seven days. Grow up...
@MisterKorman You managed to keep your Pokemon data safe for 15 years, so you can continue doing it for more. I doubt getting your Gameboy Advance, DS, and 3DS stolen was of any concern during that time. Why now? People don't suddenly begin to crave your stuff fifteen years later... The switch is no longer scarce, so it is nothing to worry about. It also doesn't suddenly stop working. None of Nintendo's previous handhelds had that problem, and also as long as you use accessories that Nintendo certifies.
@MisterKorman That "standard" is making people less cautious about how they handle their systems. The battery in the cartridges lasted long enough to make the game obsolete, since the next game in the series came out and you played the previous one to death. The Pokemon company has given players the opportunity to transfer their Pokemon from one generation to the next, and recently has allowed its fans to store Pokemon on its servers. The newest Pokemon game does not need cloud saves, because they already have a Pokemon storage system in place. In the end of the day, Pokemon are what matter in Pokemon games. The past did not suck, if anything I'd take the past's finished games over the future's unfinished DLC/microtransaction ridden games any day. To top it off, save data does not matter as much as you think. Especially if you just play a game once, and never go back to it after the next generation rolls around... People are spoiled these days too, it's ridiculous.
Back in my day, we were very careful with our stuff. It just seems people these days just don't know how to treat their console with care. They just sell it, or "accidentally" break or brick it. We didn't have so-called cloud saves, and we did just fine. People are overreacting.
@dimi You made the assumption that I like any sport. Did you consider that I may not like any of them at all? Football is the most boring and bland one of the bunch, hence the reason why I waste my time bashing it. Though, you're correct in assuming that I'm american.
People were complaining about the load times on the Wii U, and we all know how amazing the bells and whistles are on that OS. Now that Nintendo has learned from their mistakes, they decided to take a minimalistic approach to make the OS load instantly, and people still complain. You just can't please everyone...
My brother had this on his Xbox 360, and it was hilarious. Not in a bad way,but more in a "I wish I had time to play this game more" kind of way. We had fun creating the most outlandish character possible, and have him do some things I cannot mention here. It's the superior version to the newer one, that's for sure.
@BigKing Most of which came out first on the PS4, so that point is illogical. The PS4 userbase is larger by comparison (by ~50 million), so there's that too. The PS4 has been on the market for a longer time, so there's more people on that platform. Logically, the larger userbase will sell more, but will the attach rate(games sold compared to total PS4 owners) be higher? I doubt it.
@BigKing I'm a hardcore Nintendo fan, and I bought the following 3rd party games on my Switch: Doom, TES:Skyrim, Senran Kagura Refle, SNK Heroines(Preordered), Octopath Traveler, Valkaryia Chronicles 4 (preordered), and Doom Eternal (Preordered). I will continue buying more as they come, in addition to Nintendo games like Smash Ultimate.
The switch userbase is mostly young adults like myself. The Wii U advertisement campaign aimed at children, so there was less young adults on it. I had one, but I live in the west where the yakuza games did not release. Pisspoor logic on the developers side if you ask me. I'm also pre-ordering Valkaryia Chronicles 4 and Doom Eternal in addition to my Nintendo fix (Pokemon & Smash). Anyway, SEGA has every reason to fully support the Switch, especially since Sonic Mania Plus did better on it.
So does anyone know if High Voltage studios has a Switch Dev kit? Hopefully, they can land another deal with Nintendo. This time with greater security.
Meh, Doom Eternal says "hi", and Bethesda takes my money. Square Enix needs to find someone that can port games to the switch. looks at panic button Reality is that this eido montreal or whatever development team is incompetent at optimizing games, so I don't know why anyone bothered to ask the main team, and not SE themselves.
Way to piss me off Ubisoft. Provide fake Switch gameplay footage for Nintendo to show at their big Switch event, and then cancel that game for no real reason. You essentially advertised a game that only exists on rival platforms, and that's not going to bode well with me. I was actually considering buying Starlink, but now I don't think I should support this company.
Oh wow, three more people added woopdy doo. Whatever, as long as my favorite developer keeps growing, I'll be at peace. If EA owned them, then it would be a different story.
Once again, investors prove to be some of the most ignorant people out there. They fail to realize that Nintendo has presentations throughout the year, and they do not need to reveal everything at E3. We learned about Doom and Wolfenstein 2 coming to Switch post-E3 2017, why can't it happen again? Why are they selling stocks? Simple, because everyone of these investors thinks E3 2018 is relevant.
@Anti-Matter Simply by looking at GTA V sales, it is pretty obvious we're the majority. When's the last time the games you mentioned reached the top of the charts?
People asking for a man version of this game clearly have no idea about how the industry works. The majority of gamers are straight men, and they are the target audience for this game. That male version will not sell as well as this one, and it will bankrupt the developers. It costs money to make games, so you have to make games that appeal to a large audience. SJWs do not buy games or movies, so that's why media that appeals to them will always flop. A villain doing a villainous act is not something that people should complain about, so get over yourselves if you believe that it is.
I'm content with my 2018 purchase. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Super Mario Odyssey(I got LoZ:BotW on my Wii U at launch) provided months of enjoyment. I recently got Octopath Traveller, and plan to get XC2:Torna the golden country, Pokemon Let's Go Eevee, and Smash Ultimate. I prefer quality over quantity. This is more than enough to keep me occupied until Metroid Prime 4, Daemon x Machina, Fire Emblem, and Bayonetta 3 release.
I play video games to experience other worlds, not ours. Photorealistic games are boring to me, since they lack creativity. I'm picking this game up since Mechs are awesome. In case you couldn't tell by my profile picture.
At this point, it really just seems third parties like to advertise their poopy games on Nintendo's directs just for publicity. Just look at Project CARS and Metro.
Well Nintendo has been pressured into releasing a major game, every month, so it is no wonder we are starting to see signs of burnout. We will have XB2: Torna the golden country in September, Pokemon in November, and Smash Ultimate in December(I have no idea what else they have planned for August and October). In contrast, the Wii U had high quality games released when they were ready, usually several months apart. We just have to get used to it if we want this schedule to continue. There have to be blunders like this in order to deliver the games you guys want. There have to be sacrifices, and this game is one of them.
You know the developers are incompetent when even tropical freeze is capable of simulating fur, why can't they figure out alternative coding rather than removing it outright?
I feel the need to find the website hosting this program and provide the link to Nintendo. Bring down the hammer of justice onto these fools. They want to protect their piracy code, and still have the audacity to charge for using it? Someone needs to take them down.
It is essentially a game that will train new players into the mechanics of Pokemon. Wait for the real game on 2019, or swallow your pride and buy this one.
People seem to forget that Nintendo Directs happen frequently throughout the year. Other companies have E3 and other events to announce games, but Nintendo can announce games as they reach their release window.
