Re: Suda51 Has Considered Remaking GameCube Cult Classic Killer7

Killer 7... yuuuuuuuuussssssss!
Clunky as it is, I still fire it up every year or so (through the Wii) because it's just so damn great.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE: might want to pester either Platinum (Hideki Kamiya) or Capcom for that spinoff/sequel to Viewtiful Joe. On that segue, why not pester him about porting Okami over to the Switch too? The brush mechanics would fit well with the touchscreen.

@Ralek85 If you have one yourself, sounds like the perfect opportunity to go around with friends and to play with them on the go, as the article puts it somewhat: portable home console gaming with co-op on the go. Don't need online if you meet up with people outside with the Switch.

Of course if you 1) don't have a Switch then yeah, it would be difficult to play the game on one or 2) (and I'm just putting a possibility here) prefer to not meet with people IRL, then yeah, I can see the lack of an online component could be off putting.

Re: UNIOM Wireless Adapter Aims to Make Nintendo Switch Voice Chat Easier

@MyLegGuy thanks for the sarcasm... but fair point. I dropped that comment after a cursory view of the video and feeling that it just didn't sit right with me. Had I taken the time to properly sit down and write out my thoughts on the video (after several rewatches), perhaps I would've been able to come up with reasons for my disquiet. I did want to put my concern out in some form, but at the time I was occupied with something else that took away my attentions and I didn't have a whole lot of time to revisit this topic until now.

That said, other commenters have pinpointed issues that match with my concerns so to drop a correction or clarification to my comment would be to repeat what has already been said.

Re: Project Rap Rabbit Needs To Raise Almost $5 Million For Any Chance Of A Switch Port

It's a pity about the Switch stretch goal. They outline their reasons clearly in the FAQ and yet... I just feel like they don't see it as a viable medium for their game I suppose. A pity, for I feel the portability of the Switch would have been an excellent feature for the game (see: Osu Takaden Ouendan, Elite Beat Agents, Voez). There are some great rhythm games too that aren't portable (Sentris, Rhythm Doctor, Guitar Hero series, Audiosurf), however I find myself sinking more hours into those that are. Of course this is me personally and I am an advocate for portability, as you can probably tell (huhuhu)...

Re: Review: Kamiko (Switch eShop)

While I would agree that it's a fun little title, I miss the hidden lore nuggets and puzzle elements Skipmore's previous titles had (i.e. Fairune 1 & 2). Guess I'm a sucker for more point-and-click adventure tropes (I know they aren't your traditional examples of the genre, but you can see huge influences in both). However can't fault the battle mechanics this game has though; making for solid and fun, albeit short gameplay. There is however a third option in the menu that I'm at the moment unable to access, but at the moment I am unable to fathom as to how to unlock (seeing as I beat the game with all three characters already...).
