I noticed there's a new Minecraft physical edition on store shelves now. Is there anything different to the version that came out years ago?

I think it was just last month I suddenly felt curious thinking I'd never seen the voice actors for Jessie and James before. As a Pokemon fan since the very beginning, this one hurts. She must have been incredibly young when she first started voicing Jessie, but her voice completely belies that. Iconic.

I do find these such a chore to earn the coins for.

I finally built this last month, and didn't even notice the World 1-2 Easter egg! Cool!

Influenced by my family, I got rid of a handful of Wii games circa 2010. Insta-regret. That's probably the moment that triggered my now lifelong goal of working towards a complete Nintendo UK set.

(Yes, I later went and re-bought all of the games I traded in.)

This piece was crying out for a mention for Wales Interactive. They even put out Maid of Sker on Switch, based on a Welsh folk tale and set in a fictional version of Sker House, near Porthcawl!

@Sinton after waging a one-man social media campaign to get a restock on the N64 controllers, I’m so glad I got some yesterday, or I’d have seriously hit the roof. They gave no notice for them, either.

Hopefully the update involves re-adding quality customer service, and the ability to cancel orders easily or even to change the address on pre-orders. It’s embarrassing that you can’t even do that. The site used to be so good but has gone to the dogs since the rename to MyNintendo.

I’m a hardcore, Nintendo-only player and collector. That’s Nintendo games, consoles, magazines and more. Well into the thousands at this stage.

It’s a good game. Get it while it’s there.

No Nintendo home console PES since the Wii. Making even Fifa look good.

I'd consider myself the most hardcore of Nintendo fans, and it was that lull at the end of the Wii U era where I decided it was the perfect time to go for a full Wii U set. That eventually led to my current goal - every physical game (PAL UK) released on a Nintendo system full-stop. I know I'll likely never achieve it - the closest I am to a full-set is the Wii U, where I'm missing 15 or so (unless you count the two games on the New 3DS). But the limited print market has developed an unwanted sense of urgency in collecting which has really dragged the fun out of collecting for Switch.

@MrGawain I don’t know where you live, but there hasn’t been a Nintendo magazine in a UK supermarket since 2014.

@CurryPowderKeg79 I reviewed it for Switch Player Mag and gave it 4.5/5. They’re way exaggerating slowdown which only occurred as you entered rooms but then was fine straight after.

@jobvd It may be slow loading rooms in to start with but that’s the only issue.

@Nye1779 I reviewed it for Switch Player Magazine and it isn’t close to unplayable. I gave it 4.5/5, and it’s long been my favourite eShop exclusive. Yes there are long loading times as you switch rooms on occasion, but it doesn’t harm the experience at all.

Did the Deluxe Edition ever get a release? Can't find it anywhere now and the link in this article just goes to the standard version.

@Rodan2000 supporting mags like this is what’s going to pave the way for a mag on the newsagent shelves again. Big sales for Switch Player shows there’s a market for a Nintendo mag. That’s Switch Player’s goal - to continue building til hopefully that becomes a reality.

@gaga64 we work hard on ensuring the mag isn’t dated - it’s about having a keepsake from a month in history for me. With original features, opinion pieces, a bunch of reviews and unique art, I think £3.99 is a really great price.

It's a fantastic film. Nails both Pokemon fans and the general public.

All legendaries should be like this. Do away with the rubbish raid system. Then everyone gets the same, albeit very rare, opportunity to get everything.

If there’s a physical version of a game, I go for that. If a game’s digital only, that’s when I go digital. Got a few hundred games on Switch going that way now, though it’s handy to hold fire on the digital games as we’ve seen with the likes of LRG and SRG bringing out already existing titles.

Would be interesting to see the team go back and review this again. I'm sure it would score higher today...

BRING ON THE WALL!

Really loved Star Fox Adventures when it came out. Felt as futuristic as F-Zero GX for me as a Gamecube-exclusive player. Planning to take it on again soon.

Never played Assault though.

Got to give it to Fortnite - I'm still coming back after all these months to play it almost daily.

I've put in more hours than I did on Zelda, FIFA 18, Splatoon 2 and Mario Odyssey combined now. Good going.

I get both Switch Player and Nintendo Force - you should all go and support them. They still retain an audience, though having unique things you can't get anywhere else online is the most important part. Where's the physical? The other formats have one.

All I want is the graphics capabilities to make sure the multi-format games release on Switch.

That was bound to happen when EA have neglected Nintendo platforms for the best part of a decade, and released sub-par versions on Nintendo if anything at all. What else would you expect?

Have all four that have released so far but can't get near to affording another four in one go....
