I'm sorry, it just should not have launched. Please, nobody buy it. This would never have happened even back in the Wii U days, so don't let these developers perform the rip-off tactics they've done for the other formats on a Nintendo system.

To be honest, PES has had a couple of 3DS games and that's it as far as Nintendo is concerned for the past few years. Needs a replacement as FIFA's challenger.

The Wii U eShop overall interface was great.

I like the idea of featured titles at the very top - these will likely be the first party physical games more often then not.

Then below, it's best of the eShop exclusives. A list of the top-selling here, then a square titled "What do you mean, you've never played..." with a game highlighted every week.

Then, a link to all eShop exclusive games.

Next, the Virtual Console section, if that ever games, with sections separated by console.

Then, a Publishers' section - the publishers listed with an image of one of their games to draw you in, and then a list of all the games they've produced when clicking on it.

Also, when you make a purchase, there should be a "you bought this? We think you'll love this", highlighting a lesser-known indie game. That way we're constantly keeping the indie games at the forefront.

@Anti-Matter In no way did the PS1 have a better games library than the N64. Super Mario 64, GoldenEye, the two Zelda games, Smash Bros, Mario Kart 64, WWF No Mercy... there's not a single PS1 game that's better than any of those.

It's a mega edition, but my wallet can't keep up. Gone for all four of their collector's editions already...

Wanted to see Kimishima stay on for longer. But Shibata moving on is for the best. Need someone who knows the European, and particularly UK, market. For too many years Nintendo languished behind here under him.

Only had 20 mins out of work to do Community Day on Sunday but still managed one shiny Mareep.

Got plenty of Bulbasaur the previous day and a Shiny Magikarp on the last few mins of the very first shiny event.

Luckiest one I’ve had though was my Shiny Togepi hatch, not seen many of them about...

I’ll take it, but would prefer a new separate game like in the glory days. I want to be able to play against friends online first and foremost!

Since missions only began last Friday evening, how do people know what seven day streaks are already?

The limited edition is still coming though, from what I make of it.

Just the well-known ones making it towards the top then. No Sexy Brutale, Piczle Lines DX.

My bet would be a new Smash range but in card form. Less manufacturing costs on figures and can be sold in blind packs.

At this rate there'll be more Switch games with a collector's edition than without. So hard to keep up.

Retail version already in existence in some countries... lucky I didn't pick much of the eShop stuff early given that quite a lot of it is appearing in physical now..

Nintendo get three of the top 5 including 1 and 2. Love it. But Splatoon 2 should have joined them.

Hope so much that we get all of the above. There'd be no need to buy anything other than the Switch.

@JayJ It’s not about waiting til it hit Nintendo - it’s that, now it has emerged on Nintendo, Nintendo fans (and there’s a lot who only buy Nintendo systems) have their chance with it for the first time.

@JayJ Except this game wasn't on Nintendo in 2014. Nintendo fans haven't played it. Not everyone owns every console. If you've played it already, that's great. But no need to begrudge Nintendo fans who are experiencing it for the first time and catching up.

Good luck Tom. The Nintendo Life writers have developed that same affinity we used to love from the Nintendo magazines. Long may it continue with Nintendo Life, Switch Player and Nintendo Force at the forefront.

Reviewed this one for Switch Player - I loved it. A few slowdown issues but can't find fault with anything else.

Can't wait for this. Wish they'd done a double-set including the first game though to introduce Nintendo fans to the series.

@Octane I’m missing out on absolutely nothing. I have no desire whatsoever to play anything on a PlayStation or an Xbox. That’s why I come to Nintendo Life over IGN.

I don't care what's happened on other platforms, I'm a Nintendo only gamer.
