Price seem way to high for this kind of game, but I might get it when it either go's on sale for Cheap like $20 for the Switch version not going to pay $50 for it.
Never really got into the whole Pokemon series I only ever played a little bit of Pokemon Yellow version for GBC, and Pokemon Silver Version GBC. Never played any of the other's, besides Pokkén Tournament for Wii U and the Demo for the Switch port. I actually like Pokkén Tournament more than the other 2 version but I guess it is because I like fighting games instead of turn base games.
Never played a Layton game, but I looked up gameplay on youtube and going by it will be a easy pass for me. Not really into these slow puzzle kind of games. Plus it is just another port but this time it isn't a Wii U port it is a 3DS port to Switch.
All I want is a way to backup game save's for FREE like on Ps4 or Xbox One to usb or micro sd, not really interested in having to pay Nintendo just to have a backup cloud saves. Don't really play that much online and the nes games I can play right now if I wanted to on Wii U plus many more other games. I don't care that Nintendo's Switch online is only $20 a year, just doesn't really having anything interesting going for it, so it isn't looking like I will be subscribing anytime soon.
Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection, Done bet the first 2 already a few weeks ago and now finally going to start up Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception, and maybe get in a few rounds of Mk 8 Deluxe.
@Agent721 No $1.67 isn't to expensive, but why should I pay that when I can just play the free version on Wii U instead. Plus I don't really play that much online either so it just seems like a waste of money even though it is only $1.67 a month.
Wonder if Nintendo is going to try and remove the online play in Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon for Wii U when the paid online service comes out for the Switch, to try and force players to move over to the Switch versions for online play?
I own both Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, so when the paid online service comes out for the Switch, I would just go back to playing the Free online version for Wii U instead of having to pay $20 or $35 a year on the Switch for a few online matches of Mario Kart 8.
@Blizzia Sony's Playstation+ is $60 a year so is Microsofts Xbox Live, but most of the time you can get either of them on sale for as low as $34.99 a year.
What get's me is that even on only 1 Switch you can't play online on multiple accounts unless you join up for the family plan.
Then the Cloud Saves are just ok, but Nintendo Still need to have a way for people to backup there game saves to either micro sd or external hdd that are not going to subscribe to the online service. Sony and Microsoft let you backup to usb, also xbox one cloud saves are free.
The $20 isn't bad for online play and the free vc games, but hopefully Nintendo actually has where you can Purchase VC games on the Switch to actually keep. Also if they do hopefully they will not be over priced just because they add so online play in a few VC Games.
Kind of shows that Nintendo is still way behind on the times.
Already own it on Wii U, so I am in no hurry to pick up the Switch version but might get it when it go's on sale for at least $30. Same thing apply's to the Bayonetta 1 and 2 collection.
@Jack_Goetz Same here never really cared for Smash Bros. Wish Nintendo would release that Splatoon 2 Octo DLC as a Stand Alone game like they did with New Super Luigi U. Then it would be a day one pickup for me.
I have never owned a 3DS or 2DS but I do own a Nintendo Switch and have actually been thinking about picking up either a 2DS or New 2DS XL because right now there isn't anything really that is out or coming out for the Switch that I am interested in playing right now, done have Zelda Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Were as with the 2DS there is quite a few game on there that I would like to play. Like the Zelda Remakes, Link Between Worlds, Kirby Planet Robobot, Metroid Samus Returns, Monster Hunter Series, Luigi's Mansion, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario 3D Land, Etc. But I guess I will just hold out until e3 to see what is actually going to becoming out for the Switch this year.
Who know's maybe Nintendo is going to release another update for the NEW 3DS/2DS XL where they will be-able to be used for the Switch as a second player or to stream Switch games to for people that are looking for a more portable version.
Got my Switch November 15th from my local walmart and they had the Neon Blue and Red Switch about 20 off them, and they also had about 8 Mario Odyssey Red joy-con bundle, they didn't even have any grey joy-cons version at all. So I picked up the Neon Blue and Red Switch, because I didn't want a digital download version of Mario Odyssey. I would have rather had picked up the grey joy-con switch version instead don't really care for the blue or red joy-cons.
@Zuljaras Yeah I am a retail/physical game purchaser I don't like purchasing digital download games all that much but I would rather download it from the eshop instead of getting a cart that will not even be playable until you download the other half of the game from the internet. If game publishers can't put the full game on cart what's even the point in releasing a retail copy at all just seem like a waste of time to me.
@Zuljaras Yeah it would be fine if it's just DLC and still have the full game on cart. But what isn't really helping it right now is I can pick up the PS4 or Xbox one retail copy's for only $29.99 Brand New in the US, plus also with the bestbuy gamer club rewards it will only cost me $23.99. So I might just do that instead of waiting for the Switch copy to release for full price of $59.99 even with the gamer club rewards it is still $47.99 + tax on the Switch.
Can get this game for $26.99 from Amazon for Xbox One and it includes The Stick of Truth or you can get the PS4 Version also for $32 with Stick of Truth. So I will pass on the Switch Version for now.
Look's like a good game, but just not digging the $20 price tag would have been a definitive purchase if it was priced at $14.99. So I will just hold out for a sale on this game.
Already own it on the Wii U, so I will not double dip on this game. But they could just put it up on the Eshop as a digital download only title and release a New Wonderful 101 Sequel then I would be interested.
@Dm9982 I would love to see Konami bring the MGS Twin Snake's over to the Switch as a HD Remastered version, and also bring over MGS 2, MGS 3, and MGS Peace Walker.
Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snake's GameCube
God of War PS4
Luigi's Mansion Gamecube Skipped this game back when it first came out so this will be my first playthrough.
And if I get around to it maybe some more MK8 Deluxe online.
Nothing for me this week/year so far on Switch. Super Slow year for the Switch so far hopefully it will get better after E3, just not into Shovel Ware/ Indies, and not going to purchase Wii U Ports for the Switch either. But I will be picking up God of War this Week for the Ps4.
Will be picking up God of War on the 20th. As for Labo not really interested in it, but I might pickup a pack when it's either on sale for really cheap or in the bargain bin.
Will be picking up God of War on the 20th. As for Labo not really interested in it, but I might pickup a pack when it's either on sale for really cheap or in the bargain bin.
Has anyone thought that maybe the problem isn't with Bandai Namco maybe the problem is with Nintendo. Nintendo might just be holding the game back there selfs to account for the 2018 financial year, or maybe they are holding it back because of the Amiibo or something to do with the cartridges. Anyway was never going to pickup the switch version to start with so doesn't really matter to me.
Assassin's Creed would be great on the Switch as long as it is a real assassin's creed game and not a crappy port or based on that lame mobile version release on IOS and Android, I also would like to see a New Prince of Persia game for the Switch and maybe some Splinter Cell, Rayman, and The Crew / Crew 2.
I wish other 3rd party like UbiSoft would bring over some more AAA games like Assassin's Creed, Square Enix bring over both Tomb Raider Definitive Edition and Rise of the Tomb Raider, WB Games Batman Return to Arkham City and Batman Arkham Knight, ETC. Then I would actually be on board with purchasing some 3rd party games on the Switch, but as of right now my switch is just a Nintendo Only Console unlike my Wii U were I was actually picking up 3rd party AAA, indie, and Nintendo exclusives.
If Nintendo doesn't release the Virtal Console for the Switch, I will just hack/mod my original Switch console to play the Classic games on it. And purchase another Switch for online play, and for retail and eshop games.
@electrolite77 I know, that's my point if Nintendo can't get third partys to fully support there consoles, or even care that they are late ports, missing content, etc. Then why should I reward Nintendo with purchasing these third party games for a Nintendo console? When I can just get them elsewhere with full support day one.
Looks ok, but I will not support Third party games for the Switch, Done learned my lesson with supporting Third party games for the Nintendo Wii U late ports, missing content, etc. SO my Switch is a Nintendo Only Console everything else I will get either on PS4 or Xbox One.
Because I will be skipping everything on that list, done own what interest me on other consoles. But I might actually pickup Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze again for the switch when it get's a price drop for $30.
@The_Gerudo_King You do know that you can actually own a Nintendo Console and not be into Super Smash Bros right? Because I also never really got into/ care for them either like @Mr_Pepperami said hopefully Nintendo Will have some more AAA First Party games at E3 for Us. I want a New 2d Super Mario Bros. game that isn't mario maker.
Nothing for me this week, at least from the list above. I will check out the sales, and see if I can find anything that I might be interested in purchasing but more than likely there won't be. If it's just the same stuff that is already on sale.
@SmaggTheSmug Either you didn't understand what I was saying was the real version is on xbox one, ps4, and pc. I am talking about this ripoff that is coming out for the Switch. Also probably why this is getting crossplay is if they didn't include it the online would be dead on the switch from the get go. Just like how sonic all stars racing transformed wii u online was dead on arrival.
@TommyTLG Online Only!! Is one of the main reason I don't see Overwatch coming to the Switch console.
I'll just stick with the real version of Overwatch on Xbox One. Instead of this poor attempt/ripoff, but I guess it is good for Switch Only owners. Since Overwatch more than likely couldn't even run on the Switch to start without alot of downgrading.
Good to know, but I am just going to hold out on updating my 5.0.0 Switch I like my Switch to be less stable, and there isn't really any reason right now for me to even turn my Switch on. Done played Zelda Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, and some of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe battle mode. So I am pretty much done with the Switch until e3 at least maybe longer.
This game looks great and will be on my wishlist on the Eshop. So it doesn't get lost to the eshop's poor design. Nintendo Needs to update the eshop soon make it more like the Wii U eshop is layout.
I got Banner Saga 2 on Xbox One with games with gold, and didn't really care for it. But it is good for Switch only owners that would like to give it a try. Just not my kind of game.
I'll pick this up when it go's on sale, played the demo and it was ok at best, but I don't see it being worth full Retail price. NES Kirby is still my favorite out of all of them.
It's good to see more games coming to Switch even if they are just ports of older games, I might actually get this one on the Switch since I haven't picked it up yet on PS4.
I don't waste my time playing mobile games never have and never will, I love my home gaming consoles to much to play crappy mobile/microtransaction games. I own a Switch, Ps4, Xbox One, plus other gaming consoles from the past gens going back to the NES.
