@Bushido_Fai Some people like me and @DoomTurtle actually has common sense and can see what these amiibos really are just over priced DLC in toy figure form, and it's not that I can't afford them it's that we would rather spend our money elsewhere.
@AlexOlney I actually think that would be a bad idea on Nintendo's part to do that, because that really would be over priced DLC hidden behind every amiibo figure.
@Nintendo_Ninja, I don't really know if Splatoon will sell all that good myself. If I wanted to play a game like it I would just put in call of duty ghost and play team deathmatch.
@gatorboi352 I am not trying to defend the eshop I am just stating that the ps3 store crashs almost every time I try to use it, The eshop need's to have some changes done to it like I said above Nintendo needs to lower there prices on older games, and learn how to actually have some good sales on games.
I have never played any of these mario vs donkey games, and don't think I will be getting this one either because these games look boring to me. If it was like the Donkey Kong Gameboy game I would purchase it right off but it seem like a total different kind of game.
Plus it seems over priced for $20. Why should someone that only own a Wii U or 3ds only console have to also pay for a game that they will never use?
Will be getting all SNES donkey kong games on the Wii U eshop, but right now I can only get one of them so I guess I will go with my favorite one Donkey Kong Country 2 Diddy's Kong Quest. Even though I have never played the 3rd one.
I have never used steam don't really care for pc gaming, but the ps3 has the worse shop channel, because of it crashing alot of times but it still has way better sales on games than the Wii U eshop nintendo need to learn how to lower there prices on older games and have some awesome sells like sony and microsoft has on there consoles.
@TysonofTime What I am saying is if I could actually use real controls to move kirby around like in Kirby's return to Dreamland for the Wii I would have purchased Kirby and the Rainbow Curse day one, I love the art style that nintendo used for this game just that I don't care for touchscreen controls only and that you have to stare at the gamepad to even play this game. Seem like this was actually supposed to been a 3ds game instead of a Wii-u game they clearly put it on Wii-u for no point other as a filler title since they wouldn't have anything to release for the Wii u.
I would have actually purchased this game if I could actually control kirby with real controls instead of the touchscreen, I didn't spend $350 on a home console to play handle games on it.
@Coldpancakes, I would have actually purchased Kirby and the rainbow Curse day one if you could actually control kirby with actual buttons instead of having to draw lines on the gamepad.
I don't own or even want any of the amiibo's, but it would be nice if Nintendo would release all the same dlc on the eshop for the games that support amiibo's, some people might not actually want the amiibo's like me but would gladly purchase the DLC if it was available on the eshop for a cheaper price since there wouldn't actually be any figures involved.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse would have been a day one purchase for me if it had real controls and if you could actually use your big screen tv with the game instead of forcing you to stare at the gamepad to even play the game. I don't think Nintendo thought this one through since when does anyone purchase a home console to be forced into staring at the small gamepad screen to play a home console?
Nintendo of America need to pull there heads out of there a$$es so they can actually start releasing games like this and the Donkey Country games for the SNES on the ESHOP.
Year Walk, and The Sailer's Dream look like great games and if they come to the Wii U I will be picking them up, as for DEVICE 6 it doesn't interest me at all.
Wish NOA would release this game here in the US, because I don't want that crap that they Call Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. And also they need to get there A$$ in gear and release the Donkey Country games from the SNES on the Eshop to.
Most of the indie games that Nintendo get's for the wii u is total crap, with very little good indie games to choose from. They either need to get some great 3rd party games or do like Hyrule Warriors and let third partys make some great games for the Wii u with nintendo ip's. Because most of the indies just seem like ios and shovelware games.
I done own both super mario kart, and Mario Kart 8, and I will be picking up metroid prime trilogy today. As for the rest of the games I don't own a 3ds console.
I will be picking up Metroid Prime Trilogy, Rock N' Racing Off Road, Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones, and maybe even Lone Survivor don't really know to much about this game how is it?
I done own all the Wii u and Wii games, and I don't even own a 3ds console yet so I won't be getting any of those's.
But What I was wondering is I have 2 mario 25th anniversary Wii console never been opened can I enter them on my account to get 100 points each for them so I can reach platinum? Or would I get nothing for them since I done have a Wii entered on my club nintendo account?
I don't own any of the 3ds consoles or 2ds either, and I was planning on picking up a NEW 3DS from Nintendo of America when it got released and now I don't even care if I ever pickup any of the 3DS console. As of right now Nintendo of America will not be getting any of my money, the way NOA loves screwing us over. I am seriously thinking about importing from NOE and giving NOE all my money from now on, and saying the hell with Nintendo of America, Reggie, and Bill until they actually learn from there mistakes.
@abbyhitter It is the best indie game on the eshop and is totally worth the $14.99 price so glad that I purchased it day one. Plus the people that purchased it for $14.99 got 149 points in the digital deluxe promotion so they might have actually got another $5 card for picking up the game for full price were as if they got it now they would get nothing for purchasing it.
@jariw I am not sure that Mario Maker won't contain built-in levels if it does I might pick it up for cheap. But from what I have seen of Mario Maker it sure isn't worth dropping $60 on a dyi game.
@Grumblevolcano Good for you, but I don't care for these's kind of DYI games if I wanted to build game levels I would be a game developer instead of a gamer.
Nothing for me this week, Don't know what Nintendo was think, this seriously isn't a good way to start out the new year. Why couldn't they just release the Donkey Kong county games on vc this week to kick off the new year.
The only big games I see out of that list is Zelda U, Starfox, and Xenoblade Chronicles X. The rest of them are just small scale games for the Wii U. Seriously I don't care for the Mario DYI Maker game at all. Did nintendo get so lazy that they can't even make a real mario game anymore?
Nintendo's next system need's to have a ethernet port built in, have at least a 500gb hard drive like the ps3/ps4 and also have where you can purchase any other 2.5 hard drive to upgrade the new system if you run out of room. I like the gamepad but don't really care for the placement of the ZL and ZR button's on it the placement on the Wii U Pro controller ZL and ZR buttons are way better, but I like having the a,b,x,y buttons spacing better on the gamepad. They need to have only one controller for there new console instead of 10.
I won't be purchasing anything from nintendo for awhile now. I had to send in my wii u console and gamepad to get them repaired. Even if I wanted to purchase a game for the Wii U I won't be-able to play it until nintendo send's me back my console. And there isn't really any good deal's for Wii U games right now. So I this black friday/ Holiday season I will be giving my money to Sony.
@Jazzer94 @JellySplat Ign has All 12 amiibo's unboxing and pictures here is marth. Right click on the image and open it in a new tab and you can see it close up.
I don't care for the amiibo at all, they don't interest me at all. When nintendo and 3rd party start releasing new figures every few weeks and start making people purchase amiibo to unlock/play there full games that will be the day I quit purchasing Nintendo Products.
@Bobobiwan What they should do is let you remove your Mii's Helmet if you don't want one on your Mii character, because that is the dumbest thing Nintendo has ever put in a Mario Kart game. None of the other MK games has ever had a helmet and none of the other Nintendo Characters wear helmets in MK8.
I would have picked up a few Amiibo's for Mario Kart 8, but after seeing this the Amiibo's are still total useless to me. What Nintendo should do is just release Mii DLC Costumes that you could purchase in the Mii Maker instead and you could use the Mii costume's you purchase in every game that uses Mii's in them instead of having to have useless toy's around everywhere.
Does anyone know for sure that we can even use these tracks for online play, because if I can't use them I don't really think there worth the price nintendo is asking for them.
@Danny429 But don't you see Nintendo is putting a pay wall behind something that should be imported through USB or uploaded digitally from one online account to another. So the 3DS might not have a usb port but you could always use online to transfer your stuff over to it instead.
My problem with the eshop is the way they have the games listed if you go down and click all games. I don't want to see 3DS games on my Wii U eshop at all because for one I don't even own a 3DS and don't plan to. They should do like sony and have on the left side of the screen a Wii U section and a 3DS section so I don't have to waste my time look through all the 3DS crap just to find a wii u game I want to purchase.
I for one know that I won't be purchasing any Amiibo's at all. It's just another cash grab by Nintendo.
Nintendo could have did this without Amiibo's where you could just level up your characters and you could store them on a usb stick so that you could use them on other nintendo wii u consoles.
I might still pick this up, because the main reason is it is still cheaper than pickup 3 more Wii U pro controllers. Gamecube adapter $19.99 vs 3 Wii U Pro Controllers $150 now which is the better choice?
@PleaseUnderstan The PDP style gamecube controller does, but the Nintendo brand is an adapter that use 2 usb ports on your Wii U console that let's you use 4 original gamecube controllers.
