Re: Preview: Puzzling Our Way through Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars

mowerdude

I have never played any of these mario vs donkey games, and don't think I will be getting this one either because these games look boring to me. If it was like the Donkey Kong Gameboy game I would purchase it right off but it seem like a total different kind of game.

Plus it seems over priced for $20. Why should someone that only own a Wii U or 3ds only console have to also pay for a game that they will never use?

Re: Video: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse Accolades Trailer Sings Its Praises

@TysonofTime What I am saying is if I could actually use real controls to move kirby around like in Kirby's return to Dreamland for the Wii I would have purchased Kirby and the Rainbow Curse day one, I love the art style that nintendo used for this game just that I don't care for touchscreen controls only and that you have to stare at the gamepad to even play this game. Seem like this was actually supposed to been a 3ds game instead of a Wii-u game they clearly put it on Wii-u for no point other as a filler title since they wouldn't have anything to release for the Wii u.

Re: Feature: Tales From the Front Line of amiibo Collecting

mowerdude

I don't own or even want any of the amiibo's, but it would be nice if Nintendo would release all the same dlc on the eshop for the games that support amiibo's, some people might not actually want the amiibo's like me but would gladly purchase the DLC if it was available on the eshop for a cheaper price since there wouldn't actually be any figures involved.

Re: Feature: A Celebration of HAL Laboratory - Forever Focused on Fun

mowerdude

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse would have been a day one purchase for me if it had real controls and if you could actually use your big screen tv with the game instead of forcing you to stare at the gamepad to even play the game. I don't think Nintendo thought this one through since when does anyone purchase a home console to be forced into staring at the small gamepad screen to play a home console?

Re: Nintendo Goes Big On Download Games at IndieCade East

mowerdude

Most of the indie games that Nintendo get's for the wii u is total crap, with very little good indie games to choose from. They either need to get some great 3rd party games or do like Hyrule Warriors and let third partys make some great games for the Wii u with nintendo ip's. Because most of the indies just seem like ios and shovelware games.

Re: Club Nintendo Rewards are Updated for January, Kicking Off Its Final Run

mowerdude

I done own all the Wii u and Wii games, and I don't even own a 3ds console yet so I won't be getting any of those's.

But What I was wondering is I have 2 mario 25th anniversary Wii console never been opened can I enter them on my account to get 100 points each for them so I can reach platinum? Or would I get nothing for them since I done have a Wii entered on my club nintendo account?

Re: Poll: Which New Nintendo 3DS Will You be Buying?

mowerdude

I don't own any of the 3ds consoles or 2ds either, and I was planning on picking up a NEW 3DS from Nintendo of America when it got released and now I don't even care if I ever pickup any of the 3DS console. As of right now Nintendo of America will not be getting any of my money, the way NOA loves screwing us over. I am seriously thinking about importing from NOE and giving NOE all my money from now on, and saying the hell with Nintendo of America, Reggie, and Bill until they actually learn from there mistakes.

Re: Nintendo Download: 1st January (North America)

mowerdude

@abbyhitter It is the best indie game on the eshop and is totally worth the $14.99 price so glad that I purchased it day one. Plus the people that purchased it for $14.99 got 149 points in the digital deluxe promotion so they might have actually got another $5 card for picking up the game for full price were as if they got it now they would get nothing for purchasing it.

Re: Feature: The Biggest Wii U Games of 2015

mowerdude

The only big games I see out of that list is Zelda U, Starfox, and Xenoblade Chronicles X. The rest of them are just small scale games for the Wii U. Seriously I don't care for the Mario DYI Maker game at all. Did nintendo get so lazy that they can't even make a real mario game anymore?

Re: Satoru Iwata Highlights Frustration at Missed Wii U Features and Aims to Improve for Next-Gen Hardware

mowerdude

Nintendo's next system need's to have a ethernet port built in, have at least a 500gb hard drive like the ps3/ps4 and also have where you can purchase any other 2.5 hard drive to upgrade the new system if you run out of room. I like the gamepad but don't really care for the placement of the ZL and ZR button's on it the placement on the Wii U Pro controller ZL and ZR buttons are way better, but I like having the a,b,x,y buttons spacing better on the gamepad. They need to have only one controller for there new console instead of 10.

Re: Feature: Five Reasons To Choose Wii U This Holiday Season

mowerdude

I won't be purchasing anything from nintendo for awhile now. I had to send in my wii u console and gamepad to get them repaired. Even if I wanted to purchase a game for the Wii U I won't be-able to play it until nintendo send's me back my console. And there isn't really any good deal's for Wii U games right now. So I this black friday/ Holiday season I will be giving my money to Sony.

Re: Mario Kart 8 Software Update Will Unlock amiibo Functionality With Themed Mii Racing Suits

mowerdude

I would have picked up a few Amiibo's for Mario Kart 8, but after seeing this the Amiibo's are still total useless to me. What Nintendo should do is just release Mii DLC Costumes that you could purchase in the Mii Maker instead and you could use the Mii costume's you purchase in every game that uses Mii's in them instead of having to have useless toy's around everywhere.

Re: Gallery: A Closer Look at the Six New amiibo Figures

mowerdude

@Danny429 But don't you see Nintendo is putting a pay wall behind something that should be imported through USB or uploaded digitally from one online account to another. So the 3DS might not have a usb port but you could always use online to transfer your stuff over to it instead.

Re: Inquisitive Gamers Stumble Across Potential eShop Web Store

mowerdude

My problem with the eshop is the way they have the games listed if you go down and click all games. I don't want to see 3DS games on my Wii U eshop at all because for one I don't even own a 3DS and don't plan to. They should do like sony and have on the left side of the screen a Wii U section and a 3DS section so I don't have to waste my time look through all the 3DS crap just to find a wii u game I want to purchase.

Re: Gallery: A Closer Look at the Six New amiibo Figures

mowerdude

I for one know that I won't be purchasing any Amiibo's at all. It's just another cash grab by Nintendo.

Nintendo could have did this without Amiibo's where you could just level up your characters and you could store them on a usb stick so that you could use them on other nintendo wii u consoles.
