Re: Preorder Zelda: Link's Awakening In Europe And Nab Double Gold Points

molliolli182

And while I'm at it, ranting, I seriously think this game should have been 39,99 MAXIMUM. I mean, it's basically the same gave you can buy for the 3DS for like 5 or 7 euros/dollars? Metroid samus returns and luigi's mansion remakes were at that price point. And even those Crash and Spyro remaster/remake-TRILOGIES were 39,99 when they launched. I want to play the damn game and enjoy the updated visuals but damn that's a lot of money to ask for a gameboy game you can finish in 10 hours and collect everything.

Re: Preorder Zelda: Link's Awakening In Europe And Nab Double Gold Points

molliolli182

So the game is 59,99 euros/dollars digitally? The cheapest I could get a physical delivered for 54,85 (in Finland). So still it's a better deal to buy physical, get some gold points and be able to sell the game if I so want to.
I also think giving back credits from purchasing games digitally is not that great deal because it only gives you some when you buy another game digitally. Also, pre-ordering a physical copy should get some discounts too in my opinion. At least to some degree of how early you pre-order.

Re: New Switch Models To Reportedly Benefit From Sharp's Energy Efficient IGZO Displays

molliolli182

@FTPinkRabbit Yes I know the two models are supposed to co-exist. But still I think if one of the models should have the best battery life it should be the portable only. I understand it’s not an easy task when they need to shrink down stuff, keep costs down and still try to maintain the screen resolution, clarity and brightness. But if we see the lite as a stripped down, lower end, budget model then the battery life stuff makes more sense. I just personally have seen the lite as an equal but just portable only.

Re: New Switch Models To Reportedly Benefit From Sharp's Energy Efficient IGZO Displays

molliolli182

@BlueOcean Makes sense. I wonder if battery size is the reason for the lite not being even smaller? Because I might have thought about it if it was the size of a vita for example. But as it’s not really small enough to be seriously carried with me I’ll wait for a possible switch pro. If Nintendo does not release a pro model then I might get the new standard and sell my current.

Re: The Original Ittle Dew Brings Its Zelda-Inspired Adventure To Switch Next Week

molliolli182

@EarthboundBenjy Ok thanks for the info! I might pass the first one then because I thought the second one was a bit on the shorter side and could have had more refined combat. I liked the puzzles but didn’t finish the dream world completely because there was nothing to fight with. Also all the boss battles were kinda generic and easy. The final boss gave me some challenge. But what I love about 2D zelda games is that bosses require you to use all different weapons.
None the less, i liked the game but don’t think I’ll ever return to it.

Re: This Might Be The Actual File Size For The Spyro Reignited Trilogy On Switch

So the games were not really complete when they released the trilogy on PS4 and I think they had some file size optimizing/compressing to do. But now as the game has been out for some time I thought they had everything done so everything could fit on a single cart. But if they are in fact just putting the first one on a 8gig cart instead of all three on a 16gig one?

Re: The Original DOOM, DOOM II And DOOM 3 Getting Surprise Releases On Switch Today

molliolli182

Nice! I hope they'll be released soon. I never finished Doom 3 as I only played the PC version on a friends house as a kid. Not sure if I NEED Doom 1 & 2 again on a different system, but hey if the pricing is that low then why not. A physical collection would also be awesome but I'm fine with digital too.
Some other companies, cough cough Capcom, should take note here on pricing ports of old games.

Re: Nintendo Switch Lite Officially Revealed, Launches This September

molliolli182

So it's called a switch even if it can't really? It's a NintenDon't switch. I'm sure they will come up with the pro model that can't switch either, but instead of being a portable one it will only play connected to the tv. And it will be called Nintendo Stitched. All jokes aside, that yellow looks so adorable I might "need" it!

Re: Details On Smartphone Game Pokémon Masters Coming This Thursday

molliolli182

I’m not that interested. I usually don’t play quick bursts of small simple games on the go because I don’t need to fill every moment with something. I usually even don’t like just casually playing small. I also hate full touch controls and the fact that smartphone batterylife is not that great.
Focus on the console games please GF.

Re: Pre-Orders Now Live For Zelda: Link's Awakening's Lovely Limited Edition

molliolli182

@Steel76 Same here. I used to be the one who wanted the most special edition of every game. But even back then I rarely looked to the artbooks or listened to the soundtrack cd:s. All that stuff just ended up being inside the cardboard box they all came in. Now I only have a couple of special editions left. The normal game with the normal box is enough for me, most times even digital download is fine.

Re: Nintendo Reiterates It Has "No Games To Announce" For 3DS, But Says It's Still An "Important" Device

molliolli182

They might not make any NEW games for it but the system has so much games to it. So many quality RPG's, all those great DS-games. I still have lots of games I have not played or bought for the DS/3DS I want to experience. The system lives on as long as people are playing their consoles. So Nintendo might be done but us gamers are not.
I have mainly played games on my switch for the last 1,5 years I have owned it (and PS4 too). But that's just because it still feels new and fresh compared to the 3DS. If only I had more time to sink in for gaming though.

Re: Feature: Dormant Nintendo Franchises We'd Like To See Return On Switch

molliolli182

A new golden sun would be awesome! Also, i have quite good menories playing Pokémon pinball. Never really tried advance wars but now would be the perfect time.
But you missed some:
-Wario land. We need wario land
-Pokémon TGC. If pinball, then a card game too
-Mario RPG / Paper Mario, collab with squeenix for that
-Diddy kong racing with that oh so nice story mode. To compete with CTR.

Re: 2D Platformer Even The Ocean Will Bring Its Thought-Provoking Narrative To Switch

molliolli182

@Shambo I guess I did not read that part well enough. But as my defence, I have played many games with androgynous characters I think I subconsciously thought it was the case here.
If one wants to think something is politically incorrect, these days it can be so. Not sure if that's a good thing or not.
But, may the protagonist be whatever the creator want's it to be, it doesn't make me like or dislike the game more. And same goes in real life, if a person is cool, the gender/genderness doesn't really matter to me.

Re: Baldo Is What You Get When You Mix The Legend Of Zelda With Ni no Kuni

molliolli182

This looks super nice and I like the anime-y cel-shade. I just hope it has some decent story and the gameplay is top notch. I'm definitely interested but I'll wait for some reviews and make my judgement then. Also, I hope it's not a 7,99 budget indie title. Those kind of games usually have something putting me off in the gameplay department.

Re: Nintendo Adds Three More Games To The Switch Online NES Library Next Week

molliolli182

I have never played any of these (well I've played the regular excitebike if that counts?). Will I be palying them? Maybe for like 5min sessions once in a while. But it doesn't matter because it's not like we're paying for these games. Technically we are but the online subscription is so cheap (and even cheaper with the family plan) it really doesn't matter if the 3 games of the month is not my/your cup of tea. So my question for the month is not wether we'll see SNES, GB/GBA or N64 games soon. It's when will Nintendo stop allowing a group of friends or even random people to create a family plan for the online? I mean you don't even need real life friends, just a facebook group with gamers and soon you'll have a switch online for like 3 euros for the whole year. Good for us gamers who rarely play online but still want it for those occasions. But it doesn't really print money.

Re: Review: Shadows Of Adam - A Short But Sweet Throwback To The Glory Days Of 16-Bit JRPGs

molliolli182

As much as I like the idea of a huge epic 100 hour RPG that has tons of side quests and post content, I don't have the time or the patience I had younger. Almost every week some new games are released, games I would like to at least try out. But I'm missing so much because games these days take so much time to complete. When I was a kid I had all the time in the world but I got only a handful of games / year. One birthday, 1-2 christmas and a couple if I saved money. Now I have a job and could afford to buy much more games. I just don't have time to play every one, not to say complete them. And I get bored with a game quite easily because my mind is already wanting to play another new game after 20-30 hours of the current one. Yeah, we get so much bang for our buck with modern games. But if I wanted to complete all JRPGs I bought, I could only get like 2-3 a year.
To me this sounds like a good game!

Re: Fan Creates Homemade Switch Mini Console, Beating Nintendo To The Punch

molliolli182

@Ogbert Yeah I definitely understand. The 3DS is small enough to even fit in most of my coats' pockets if I need to quickly toss it somewhere. Can't do it with the switch, not because of the screen but also because the size. I wonder when will Nintendo jump into the world of foldable screens. Maybe 2030 when they are cheap enough? A handheld console could definitely benefit from a foldable screen.
