Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 8.0.1 Is Now Live

molliolli182

@Yoshinator I have been hoping for folder as long as I have owned the console. It's nice how the last update let's you change the order of the games but I'm still waiting for the chance to organize my games by genre.
And yes, themes would also be nice. I think the 3DS themes did not look particularly good because the low res screen. And most of the themes were kinda busy and had too much going on. But some simple different color themes for the switch please.

Re: Nintendo Of America Deletes Tweet About The Gyms In Pokémon Sword And Shield

molliolli182

I would be fine with the game having gyms like we've seen in the past. But I'm guessing they'll be stadiums and you'll get a badge of some sort by winning. It would be kinda neat if those stadiums had some tournaments that always had random trainers with different pokemon. And if you managed to beat a tournament, only then you'd challenge the leader/master. And if you beat the that person then you would be the master of the stadium, and had to defend your status once in a while. You could be a master in all the stadiums at the same time but the catch would be that you'd only be able to use a certain type of pokemon in a stadium. Let's say you beat the rock stadium master with your grass pokemon and became he master. Then you'd have to defend that specific stadium using only rock pokemon.

Re: Reminder: Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn Launches Today - Nintendo's Final Major 3DS Release?

molliolli182

Nintendo should say that the switch won't be getting SNES-games, then release a Super Nintendo Mega Ultimate Collection for the 3DS, sega-style. That way they could boost the sales of the dying console. And only after milking it give us the SNES online-app for the switch and get double the sales.
Jokes aside, I think the 3DS really could co-exist by getting virtual console games.

Re: Octopath Traveler Makes The Leap To Mobile, New Console Game Will Take "A Little While Longer"

molliolli182

Free to play but tons of stuff you can only/easily get by paying real money? So we all bought the game that still btw is priced 50-60 and this is how the company uses that money? I wish they just imvested time and resources for a sequel/prequel instead of mobile stuff. In my opinion phones are a platform suited for casual bubble shooter-games while "real" games should be played with a dedicated gaming device. Just my opinion though.
But when it comes for the sequel to Octopath, I wish it was NOT a switch exclusive. Yeah it feels special when switch gets a non Nintendo made exclusive. But more platforms equals more sales and more happy gamers.

Re: Deals: Boost Your Switch Storage With A 400GB Micro SD Card For Just £56

molliolli182

I just ordered a 400gb from amazon.de earlier this week for 69 euros shipping included ( I'm from Finland). The 56£ is about the same converted. These are some good prices, and even though my 128gig card has nearly 100gb space left I got the bigger anyway. I don't think I'll need to upgrade anymore with the pace I buy digital games. But I mostly buy smaller indie games that don't take up that much space though.

Re: Rumour: Link's Awakening Might Not Be The Only Zelda Game Released In 2019

molliolli182

How would a battle royale Zelda game even play? 99 (or something) people tossed in a room and it's last man standing? Or whoever gets trough/out a dungeon first? I'm interested, even though I think it will rather be a co-op zelda for those who have the online. I think Zelda works for co-op, locally but especially online. Maybe a zelda roguelike?
I would love to see those wii u Zelda ports get ported to the switch. Then we could all put our wii u:s in our closets for good.

Re: Review: Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn - A Timeless Classic That Feels Right At Home On 3DS

molliolli182

@teamdave2002 I meant that most of the game i could breeze trough and then there was, for example, the last boss I barely managed to beat. I also think the game had so much going on with the different power-ups but I really didn't even need to bother with most of them. That said I did not 100% complete the game with everything but I got trough the main story. It wasn't that bad game to say but I borrowed it and after returning it I don't think I need to re-visit it.

Re: Want Resident Evil On Your Switch? You'd Better Have Deep Pockets

molliolli182

So Capcom didn't bother to optimize/compress the filesizes, no EU physical, the NA physical seems to be zero on cart and REmake as a download...then put a 30 pricetag on them. Let's see how well they'll sell.
Those games are 20 / piece to download for the PS4 and I remember them being half off at least two times within the last 6 months. As much as I would like to play REmake again handheld, I'll pass until they drop to a 10-15 price range. I own the original gamecube versions and I can always play them if I want to. They hold up quite well against the new HD remasters.

Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield Revealed For Nintendo Switch, New Starters Shown

molliolli182

Those are some nice visuals! For a Pokemon game at least. I'm getting a bit of DQXI-vibe from them. And it's not even final stuff they are showing here. Might get even prettier!
Now here's hoping for a more open world and a camera you can rotate and really enjoy those environments. Capturing pokemon seems to be like older main games, by battle, which is nice. I liked how you could see the pokemon in Lets go so I hope it's the same case with these.
Those starters seem a bit boring but I have had the same thoughts of new pokemon for a while alredy. New 'mons get the job done but seem to lack the charm of the first two gens. Anyway, this is day one for me. The sword-version that is!

Re: Hang On, Did Junichi Masuda Tease Pokémon Sword And Shield Last Year?

molliolli182

Yes, it's true that you can find literally any references from the bible or those drawings on the walls of ancient caves. If you just want to. But still I think this is legit.
They definitely knew the names for these games back then and Im pretty sure they teased it this way, because they knew that obviously no one could get it. Just a man with a tripod. A way to have some inside jokes on the office.

Re: Video: Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster And XII: The Zodiac Age Get New Switch Trailers

molliolli182

I played X and XII on the PS2 back in the days but skipped X-2 after trying it. I now own the X/X-2 collection for PS3 (collectors edition), PS4 and Vita. Have still to play that X-2 because I think it's gonna be a bad game..
I also have XII on PS4 but have not had the time to play it. Too many RPG:s to finish.
To have these games on a Nintendo console is awesome as fudge but as I already own them I'm not really holding my breath and waiting the release date. Might get them digitally at some point because I have the PS3, PS4 and Vita copies physical.

Re: Sega Wants To Know Which Games You'd Like On The Mega Drive Mini

molliolli182

Sega's late to the party. I think the biggest hype is gone already. Also, people are going to think it's crap because of all the other Sega consoles that have been released. Yes, this time it's not AT games but will people think it that way? No, they'll see it that it's just another bad piece of plastic with poor emulation of Sonic on it. Another thing is a point already made here; Sega has released like a billion of Genesis/Megadrive/Sonic collections to a bunch of consoles already. The latest being the Switch version not that many months ago. Will even the hardcore Sega-fans be interested of it because the already have those games in their PS4/Xbox/Switch?
It should be THE definitive version of all those previous collections. Perfect emulation, save states, extras, all games from previous collections (+ more). Also if the console had a cart slot and the ability to run your own old Genesis/MD carts. That would be a selling point.

Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 7.0.1 Resolves Minor Pokémon: Let's Go Issue

molliolli182

@sanderev Yes I know it's not technically a random order. But for someone who would like to have their games organized by genre instead of just having a long list of games, it's kinda random. It's more aesthethics too for me. The home screen would look cleaner with fewer obejcts.
With PS4 you can have folders and still the console opens up the right folder depending on what disc you have popped on. I wish the switch could have something similar. And even if Nintendo would add the possibility to have folders, no one forced one to make use of them.

Re: Video: We Weren't Sure We Wanted A Zelda: Link's Awakening Remake, Until We Got It

molliolli182

I don't think the game necessary needs a remake but I think it really deserves one. Because it's a gem left behind, and the graphics might be a dealbreaker to a younger audience. I think the original (well I only played the DX-version) holds up very well to this day. I like the visuals and the controls are spot on. I own the DX on gameboy and I have also bought it on the eShop for 3DS.
I like the new artstyle for the remake and I will buy the game, 99% sure day one.
