Another nail in the coffin of freedom of speech. While review bombing is indeed lame, this just goes to show that user input is not worth a damn on the internet.

There are instances where low scores are justified, but if enough people express an opinion that differs from the majority, or more to the point, the interests of the media outlet, then those users opinions will be purged.

It starts with video games, movies and music but at what point do you draw the line.

The internet is supposed to be a free and open platform for everyone to express themselves, but when internet censorship becomes the norm and acceptable practice, it's time to step back and really think about how it benefits anyone in the long run.
