Launching this October on Nintendo Switch is Into the Dead 2, a zombie survival game that'll have you blasting your way through hordes of the undead.
You know the deal with zombie games by now - Into the Dead 2 tasks players with journeying through a zombie apocalypse in a race to save their family. You'll need to arm yourself with any weapons you can get your hands on and maim, shoot, and rip your way through the corpses standing in your way. The trailer above should give you a good sense of how this one will play.
Here's a feature list to tell you a little more:
Features:
• 60 story levels spread across 7 chapters—each containing special challenges to complete
• 3 different endings to discover
• 8 loyal animal companions—from lovable dogs to ferocious tigers, these companions aide you in battle, level up, and come with special abilities
• 25 unique weapons across 8 classes—each with up to 7 different boosts to equip
• Side Stories—36 additional levels expand the story with unique environments, weapons, and companions
• Arcade Mode Missions—defeat the undead with each weapon and aim for high scores to unlock the next challenge
• The all-new sawblade launcher weapon and bear companion give you the maiming power to keep you moving

It'll be launching on Switch on 25th October, with pricing set at $34.99, and a physical edition will also be released which includes Ghostbusters and Night of The Living Dead DLC missions as standard. If you choose to go digital, you can pick up the DLC separately.

Yes. This sounds good. I’m interested for sure
60fps please and it's a buy from me!
This is so ridiculously over priced, it's not even funny. The game is FREE TO PLAY on mobile and the game on Switch looks no different than the mobile version.
If it were 15 bucks it would make sense but 35 is just nuts
This game isn't worth $35. It is a fantastic mobile game, and it is a very fun zombie game with rather unique gameplay. Just run through an oncoming mob of Zombies and try to get as far as you can, which leads you through a variety of tricky locations like cornfields or a dense forest. $15 is a very reasonable price for this game, but it's definitley not worth $35.
This game looks amazing. Did not realize it was an auto-runner, though. $35.00 is not a price I would ever pay for a mobile port. I will wait for a major sale. Or, you know, download it on my phone.

Physical release..................
Recognized the name and figured it was another overpriced Mobile port. Reading the comments, so did everyone else 😅
The Switch could do with a quality zombie shooter / survival, I don't think it has any that are even half way decent? This looks OK but if it's just an overpriced mobile runner, then it's not going to fill the void. Dying Light would be good to have. I've never played it but I've seen my nephew play it, he loves it. A sequel was just announced the other day and the developer, Techland said a few months ago they've got a surprise in store for Switch at the end of the year. They ruled out the sequel coming but the original is surely possible? Unless it's a brand new game developed for Switch then it can only be, one of Dying Light, Dead Island or Call of Juarez.
Game looks surprisingly good imo..but can't afford that asking price with all the other stuff coming out in October
I remember this game on mobile. It was fun when I played it at the time. hmmm but I don't know about that price.
It really didn't look all that good to me, before I knew it was an autor-runner... Now it just looks terrible. Why is it free to play on mobile, anyway? Does it have mtx?
Makes me just want left 4 dead on my switch.
@Beermonkey Left 4 Dead 3 (Switch Exclusive)
@patbacknitro18 I would love Left 4 Dead 3 on any console at the moment. Still play L4D2 on my Xbox one.
Yet another overpriced mobile game ported to the Switch. Pass!
I tried the game on mobile, it’s an auto runner where you move side to side avoiding zombies and using your limited ammo to kill the ones you can’t avoid. Your tasked with running a set distance to reach the end of the level. There is nothing wrong with that type of game as the genre has its fans just like any other.
The problem with the game is that it’s infected (pun intended) with obnoxious energy timers, egregiously overpriced IAP’s, and loot boxes. A quick count shows over $300 worth of IAP’s with the usual $99 best deal bag of coins that are of course repeatable purchases.
The physical edition Ghostbusters DLC...is $80 on mobile. Get out of here with that! $35 is way too high of an asking price for this game even if they did rework it to exclude all the typical mobile game trappings.
Remove all the mobile game trappings and lower the price to $10, $15 max, and you could probably have a good time with it. Again, it’s not the game that is bad, it’s the pricing.
Can we just stop beating around the bush already and get Left 4 Dead on the Switch? This doesn't even appear to have multiplayer. Pass for sure. Games over a decade older than this did it better.
lol, was interested when I heard it was coming.
I’ll spend £35 on a game worth £35, lemme know when it has a sensible price 😂
WTF?! 35 dollars? Are you lads mad? This is a mobile game. Nope Nope Nope.
Another overpriced port for the Switch facepalm ....Friday the 13th is $20 overpriced at $39.99 and is even worse than the PC/PS4/Xbox versions, and now Nintendo pulls this off. The Switch is my main go-to console, but Nintendo has no shame in scamming lol.
Pass, I don't find Zombies to be particular engaging enemies in a FPS game. Zombie stuff is rarely really about the zombies, but the whole break down of civilization, survival, rebuilding and ultimate the human condition and all that comes with it.
Most zombie games totally miss the mark on this though ...
Does it have gyro...You'd think this would be answered in every new game announcement for the Switch by now...
Pure exploitation! £30 for a game that is free on mobile phones. A hard pass from me.
