I have difficulty in unlocking characters in Smash and I also find that I suffer from quite a lot of input lag during online matches with friends.

I prefer this game to Smash Bros. Ultimate

Because image doubling caused by 30fps content hurts my eyes. The image smoothness provided by 60fps is more important to me, it’s not a question of response time.

DLC is region locked on all Nintendo switch consoles though which sucks. My friend from Canada gifted me Splatoon 2 when she visited me and while the game works fine and purchasing DLC works fine, it does not play, instead you are told you must own a copy of the game to play the DLC.

I don't see the appeal myself, played Smash Bros: Ultimate for a few hours on release day and got bored and haven't touched it since, and probably won't again. I'll keep it for the swanky metal case..
