Since when does Nintendo do a Direct for 1 specific game that's 4 MONTHS OUT. That's not how they took. They do game specific directs a few weeks before it comes out. As much as I'd like to try Dark Souls I think this is false too

Oddly enough, with all the different weapons on offer in this game the Splattershot Jr is the one I use the most. Either way, this game doesn't get nearly enough credit! It's amazing!

@BanjoPickles I'm with BanjoPickles. This game was AMAZING and top 3 of all the 3DS games, but it needs to be in 3D

As much as I'd like to put Xenoblade 2, Breath of the Wild is the correct answer here.

Interestingly, I own all 4 of these top games he mentioned, but none of them are they reason I bought the Switch.
Back in the January full reveal I was trying to decide if I should buy this new toy... Then they announced XENOBLADE 2 for the first year and I decided right then and there I would be a day 1 Switch purchaser

On the 2D option, you didn't list my overall favorite. I wanted to vote for Super Luigi U...I guess you considered it a spin off?

On the 3D Marios I couldn't vote for Odyssey because I'm saving it for my son's birthday in a few weeks so I haven't played it yet, but I was amazed to see I was the only one that Voted 3D Land. I thought the 8special worlds were Super Fun! (Although I did consider putting Sunshine in I like 3D Land a little more)

Talk about getting people too excited. I want Donkey Kong Country: Apes in the Wild. A co-op open world game (kind of like Breath of the Wild and Odyssey but co-op which is how we played Returns and Tropical Freeze)

I bought myself one, then I bought my wife one so that we can play Splatoon together. Then I bought a 3rd (I have 3 kids). Car trips are much easier now

Wouldn't it be cheaper to make one for those customers that are docked only? You could ditch the screen.

@Reignmaker a solid stream of Wii U ports would be great for me. If they'd just announce a Xenoblade X port I'd finally be emotionally able to sell my Wii U

@sillygostly I'm not at all surprised by the sales of 1 2 Switch. I agree, it's not a game for gamers and I also don't enjoy it, but my wife is there one that begged me to buy it and she likes to pull it out when non-gaming family comes over and my kids still pull it out and play it quite frequently (just yesterday as it just so happens)

@SLIGEACH_EIRE really? Sales based on what game? How about Mario Odessey? This projection is for between now and the end of March. So the projection is mostly for Christmas sales. Obviously this is the first Christmas it's been out and Nintendo sells best at Christmas so for all intents and purposes it'll be the first Christmas for Mario Odessey, Zelda, & Splatoon 2.

@NintndoNik I downloaded this game the moment it became available and I've played MyCareer a lot, but I've never experienced this save data corruption glitch. My guess is it's pretty rare if it exists at all

@Oubie I downloaded it at launch and if I had known about these small glitches and was given the choice to wait and not experience them...I still would have downloaded it day 1. I never experienced anything game breaking just small annoyances (like a few broken cut scenes)

Why is nobody reporting on NBA 2K? I pre-ordered the game and was told I'd get it Sept 15, then last week I got an email that says I won't get it until Oct 17 then I'm told Sept 15 digitally if you preorder it and Sept 19 digitally if you don't preorder it but how do I pre-order a digital game?

I WILL be buying DLC... But first NBA 2K18!

I love when games do this and keep adding free content. My guess is that for some games it reactivates excitement and ignites new sales. Hopefully it works well so that more and more games will do it too
