Re: Nintendo Is Not Considering A Switch Successor Or Price Cut At This Time, Says President

@invictus4000 Why would you say that? Just because it's not your ideal way of playing? For me (and me alone) the joy cons are horrible. If I could buy a Switch that was $180 because it wasn't bundled with a dock and doesn't have the mechanism that allows removable joy cons, and doesn't have a cart reader (I far prefer buying digital) but it still could be put in a dock if you already have 1 (I already have 2), I'd buy it without hesitation. I do 80% of my gaming on airplanes during work trips or in cars so while it wouldn't be appealing to you, it would be to me and maybe others as well.

@Heavyarms55 @IceClimbers @Regpuppy @Alucard83 @EmmatheBest @JaxonH I've never played a Tales game, but seeing how many people voted for Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition I'm thinking I need to check it out. I don't love all JRPGS but I do love some of them. I love all 3 Xenoblade games, and I really liked Ys VIII, strong stories really suck me in hard, but I also struggle with turn based combat (I couldn't get into Bravely Default or Octopath Traveler at all for example)

Re: Gaming Analysts Predict 'Switch Pro' And 'Switch Lite' Revisions For 2019

@Seacliff actually it does work that way. They shrink the screen and maybe drop it's resolution (smaller & cheaper), smaller screen means they can use a smaller battery (smaller & cheaper) they remove all the mechanical pieces that allow removable Joy cons (cheaper) & it no longer needs a Bluetooth chip to connect controllers (cheaper)

I have no idea if they're correct, but I'm hoping for but. I'd like to see the mini/Cheap version because I want more people to jump in the band wagon, but I really want a pro version with Bluetooth headphone support, a bigger battery, smaller screen bezzels, more RAM & a faster processor. I was going to buy the Smash Special edition and hand my current Switch to my kids, but then I heard the rumor about the Switch Pro and decided to wait for that one instead. I know it'll cost more, but I'll be happy to pay for it

NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 is my Multiplayer of the Year with Xenoblade 2 Torna my game of the year!

Yes I like Smash a lot, but we've had more fun with Playgrounds 2! And Xenoblade keeps me happy during all my work trips

Re: Feature: Vote For Your 2018 Nintendo Game Of The Year

This year I had the most fun with
1-NBA Playgrounds 2
2-Ys VIII
3-Smash
4-Starlink (might go higher next week when I finally have to time to play more)

Note-Torna might have made it, but I haven't beat Xenoblade 2 yet, I put about 40 hours in recently and I'm loving it. As soon as I finish Xenoblade 2 I'll start Torna

Re: Feature: Digital vs Physical - What Is Your Preference for Nintendo Switch?

leo13

I prefer Digital, it's much more convenient and safe (that's right I said it) I travel a lot and I have 4 kids. My digital copies can't be lost or stolen. Even if my Switch is stolen I can redownload them when I buy a new switch.

I'll buy physical if it's a game I'm not sure I'll like it if Physical is significantly cheaper.

I own a 400 GB micro SD card so for now I'm good as far as space is concerned
