When the Nintendo Switch launched earlier this year, one of the go-to eShop titles at the time was Snipperclips - Cut it out, together! It was a title that highlighted the sheer brilliance of the Joy-Cons when two or more people teamed-up.
Nintendo has now revealed that an expanded version of the original snip and clip game will be arriving on the Nintendo eShop on 10th November. Snipperclips Plus: Cut it out, together! features more than 30 new stages, new challenges and new features; this includes remixes on the original levels.

Players who own the original digital version of the game will be able to purchase the new DLC content in the Nintendo eShop for US$9.99, with the standalone version priced at US$29.99.

This was great news. I had such a good time with this game but got very sad when it ended all too quickly.
Nice. That's a great game and I look forward to the DLC.
It was a brilliant idea that I felt was over WAAAAY too soon. Nice to hear we're getting DLC.
I'm down yo!
Hope there is retail version in US.
Now how about some additional content for 1 2 Switch too? Make it free to justify the selling price.
Run that.
@jswhitfield8 ARMS and Splatoon 2 both have free updates. So why not 1 2 Switch? Price difference isn't that big unlike Snipperclips.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes
I'm game, love Snippers a lot.
I am glad the best selling eShop digital only title on the Switch is getting DLC!
$29.99? Wow...glad I don't have to pay that because I have the original
@MonkiPlays
Thanks god there isn't, otherwise the game would be twice more expensive !
@janfritz
No player is wasting time with 1-2 switch. Why would devs do ?
@BezBot You're literally saving 1 penny by having the original. 19.99 + 9.99
@hcfwesker Oh I thought this was going to be released as a separate game without the first one in it. Now that I think about that it does make no sense lol so yeah I was confused. Still don't understand why they are releasing it as a separate game then if it's the same price, why not just keep it as DLC.
This is my favorite reveal. I love the original, and I'm glad I'll be getting a discount.
@BezBot I agree. I can just see some purchasing the 29.99 bundle mistaking it for a sequel, not realizing it's an updated version of the original that they already owned.
Loved the demo but it kept getting pushed down the purchase list by the DELUGE of games we are getting (seriously Nintendo I can't keep working OT like this) so I am super stoked to get this now.
I WILL be buying DLC... But first NBA 2K18!
It's great that they are revisiting this with DLC. Wonderful game!
I didn't get the game because I wanted the pack with the joycon included. But now it's coming out physically I'm definitely gonna pick it up 😊
Why no Pro Controller or Joy-Con Pair support? Lazy developers!!!
I would have bought the games if they did. I am simply not detaching a Joy-Con to play it horizontally when two better controller options exist!
love that it's getting a physical release. It's not super necessary, since the game doesn't take up much space, but it's visibility in stores will be nice, and since I didn't pick this up yet, I'll definitely pick up the physical version as long as it's not overpriced (there is no pricing on Nintendo's Canadian website, $29.99 USD converted to CAD doesn't sound so bad, but I'll wait till Nintendo of Canada announces a price)
Nice little update to an already great little game.
What I played of Snipperclips was fun, but I got my fill from the demo.
@MonkiPlays There is a physical version. So hope you'll get it.
Fun little game, particularly watching newer players give it a go, but don't tend to get too much play time from it from my group. So if it was cheaper, maybe on the dlc, prob not as is.
If physical version can import save data from original release, maybe I'll buy it instead of DLC. Just because I love cartridges, you know.
Probably gonna buy the DLC after I finish the main game. I don't play it often, but whenever I pull it out with a friend it's always a good time.
